Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!  I wish you and yours all the best this holiday season!

Started with a base of Fancy Gloss Tree Cakes over a coat of Polished for Days white soft focus, no top coat.  This is the quintessential holiday polish and as I have a backup bottle, I should be good for a few more years!  I also have a couple of the Tree Cake polishes with different tints as these type of polishes are right up my wheelhouse!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Beauty Big Bang 11

Stamped using image from Beauty Big Bang 11 using Moyra SP 02 with an accent nail using Marianne Nails n127.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Please enjoy your day with the ones that are closest to you.  Be present, revel in the time you have together and put your phone down.

Happy holidays!

A Bunch of Rudolph's

Aren't these the cutest reindeer nails?  I luv them!

Clear Jelly Stamper CjS C-80.

Started with a base of Painted Polish Let It Dough over one coat of Polished for Days Blush Soft Focus.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Clear Jelly Stamper CjS C-80 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and CjS 062.  I did dot the noses with the same polish because I find sometimes the polish leaves a void (as you can see in the eyes) and I like the full stamped look better.  Looking at these nails, I should have dotted the eyes too, but next time!

After using a stamper that shrinks the image, stamped an image from Maniology M041 on the middle nails using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

I wish my nails were longer here so you could see more of the cute faces but maybe another time!  I also really like the base polish; not a typical to me polish but really goes well with these images.

 Thanks for looking!

Happy 2024!

2024 is here!  Happy New Year!

Started with a base of Painted Polish Dreaming In Polish, on two coats of Cupcake Polish White Pop, no topcoat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

After making stamper decals using images from SugarBubbles SBS031, applied them to the nail.  Used Painted Polish Midnight Mischief for the outline, then filled in using MdU 26, 50, 83 and Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

SBS031

Shadow stamped words on thumb and numbers on ring using MdU 83 and Painted Polish Blanc Slate using images from Powder Perfect Celebration 1.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.  I want to point out the letter E on the thumb in the word 'New".  See the picture above, the letter is perfect.  That's because I stamped it and it was.  Then I got up and got a glass of water and somewhere along the lines, the E fell off the nail.  So I stamped a replacement and it too was perfect.  Except when I went to top coat it, it folded.  I'm like, are you kidding me?!?  So I stamped it again and it's not so clear as the folded E is still there and I didn't want to risk trying to remove it because those letters are so darn small.

Thanks for looking and all the best in 2024!

Tis The Season To Be Jolly!

I've never been an expert shadow stamper but I'm even more rusty than usual as you can see on these Christmas nails.  I did ask Santa for a magnifying lamp to help so hopefully, if I haven't been too naughty, it will be under the tree in a few days!  In the meanwhile, continue to see some less than perfect shadow stamping including on these nails.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Fancy Gloss Mint Tree Cakes over a coat of white soft focus, no top coat.  I love these crelly flakies and used the Fancy Gloss ones almost exclusively this holiday season for my nails.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Layered stamped using image from MoYou Noel 5 using Moyra SP 05 and CjS 062 stamping polishes, with accent nail shadow stamped using same polishes and image from Lina 4 Seasons-Winter 03.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Happy Halloween!

Spooky season comes to a close with Halloween arriving today and while I hoped to share a few more Halloween nails this last week, life had other plans so this will be it for the season.  Hopefully you have enjoyed the ones that were shared!

CjS H-44

Started with a base of Painted Polish Mystery Crelly Douze on a base of white soft focus, and Cauldron Lacquer Spooky Vibes on the accent nail, on a base of gray soft focus, no top coat.  I absolutely adore both of these polishes and think they are the perfect bases for Halloween nail art!

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped images from Lina Spooklicious! 01 on thumb, using MdU 13 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief for shadow stamping and PP MM and Painted Polish Blanc Slate as well on other images.  Did layered stamping on the rest of the nails with images from CjS H-44 using MdU 13 and PP MM.  These pumpkin faces with the flying bats are just so darn cute; I can't wait to use them again next year!

Middle Aged People Problems:  For the life of me, I could not read the polish maker on this bottle and had to take a picture and blow it up to get the name!  Thank goodness for technology...although I guess there is a magnifying glass lol! (Love this polish!)

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Hope you had a great Halloween this year; thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday!!!

Today, my baby boy turns 23! These are the nails I did for his birthday last year but didn't get around to sharing!

MoYou London Festive 69.

Started with a base of two coats of Painted Polish Fingertip Fandom on a white blur base, no top coat.  With all these colours, it's like a party on your nails, which is just the look I was wanting!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Nailways Spring Time - Birthday Cake

I made a whole bunch of stamper decals; on the middle and ring, used MoYou London Festive 02, and on the pinky and index used MoYou London Festive 9.  The thumb is Nailways Spring Time-Birthday Cake shadow stamped.  Used MdU 80, 83, 91, Painted polish Midnight Mischief and Clear Jelly Stamper Relay Red as stamping polishes.

Added flames, which was first stamped with MdU 83, then shadow stamped a mixture of MdU 107 and MdU 9.

I added yellow dots to the stars on the middle finger and some colourful sprinkles to the cupcake on the ring for some added colour and interest, as well as accented the flames on thee candles just a bit more to look a little bit more interesting.

Added a few party streamers from the Nailways plate on the ring finger.

Topped with a base of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.
