Let’s Go Blue Jays, Let’s Go!

The Toronto Blue Jays are currently in the World Series, with Game 6 just ending as I'm wrapping up this post.  They didn't win tonight but they got Game 7!  Let's Go Blue Jays!

Started with a base of Cupcake White VNL Blur, then added two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on all fingers except ring, which is OPI Fiyero's My Mani.  Then added Red Eyed Lacquer Like It's My First Tattoo on most of the other nails, except middle.  Shown with no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped images from Canadian Nail Fanatic with Fig Tree Stamps 002 on all fingers except the pinky using MdU 30, Maniology Blizzard B261 or a mix of them on some images.  The player sillouettes are double stamped to get good darkness.  The pinky is the coolest find everrrrr!  I stamped the ball from image UC mini:  Take Me Out To The Ball Game including the lines,and thought it needed more outline definition.  So I was going through the sports images I had and noticed that BM-XL183 looked similar in size to the solid ball so tried it out and low and behold, it was the perfect size.  It really ads definition to the stamped image I think, especially when the background polish isn't dark.

Added starts from Maniology m054 for filler and interest using MdU 68.  Also maple leaf on the middle finger with an image from CjS-257 using CjS 062.  There was even an image that was perfect in size to fit on the Jays logo without shrinking, which was perfect!

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Blue Daisies!

If you've been here for a while, you'll know that for the last couple of years I've been struggling with one nail issue or another.  But it hasn't stopped me from doing my nails and this was one of those times that I still did them and loved how they turned out, even though they may not look follower friendly or Instagram perfect, but I'm sharing them anyway.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Orly De-stressed and accent nails of Pretty Beauty Unlimited Candy Floss (PPU February 2018).

Topped the Orly using DRK In Living Color.  

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top. 

Stamped plaid using MoYou London Care Bears Unlock the Magic 07 using MdU 01.

Added flowers using Lina 4 Seasons-Spring 02 with Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Dotted daisy centers with Painted Polish Stamped in Starfruit and Edm Navy Blue.

Added more dots using Painted Polish Stamped in Starfruit.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Welcome, Summer!

Welcome, Summer!  Summer has officially arrived and nothing screams summer like flowers in bloom so I'm sharing these floral nails!

Started with a base of two coats of Pahlish This Room Is A Mess! Classic Mom mystery batch.  No top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped plaid with image from Creative Shop 182 Basic with MdU 91.

Added flowers from Lina 4 Seasons Spring-02 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, no top coat.

Added floral centers using MdU 80.  

Topped using KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

After a day or so, added a coat of Essie Matte About You.  I really liked the look of the matte version, too.

Squiggly Lines

I love the combination of the layering for the base polish, I just hope the stamping didn't cover too much of it!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of China Glaze Blue Raspberry Ice, no top coat.

Topped with Dreamland Wrangled At the Rodeo (PPU June 2023).  Love this combination and am so glad I have a back of this polish!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from PY-J036 using MdU 91.

Did double stamping using same image with Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Sailing Away!

I'm on a cruise right now, soaking up the sun, lounging by the pool, snorkeling and swimming in the ocean and enjoying all the buffets!  Cruise calories don't count!  Actually, the last few cruises I've been on, I actually lost weight!  I think from all the walking, getting in over 20,000 steps a day, eating all the fruits, etc.  Anyway, the next few posts are going to be fun in the sun and water mani's that I didn't do specifically for this vacation, but rather, random mani's here and there that I've done over the years and not year shared but are appropriate for the theme.  Thanks for looking!

Started with a base of two coats of Glisten & Glow You've Been Hazed (A Box Indied April 2014), no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with lines from Lina Born to Sail 01 using MdU 68, 73 and Hit The Bottle Blutonium.  

Did layered stamping using Lina Born to Sail 01 plate, using Funky Fingers Guesso.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Another Flower Mani

 It's been a few posts since I last shared these daisy nails that I keep on rehashing over and over so here's another version!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Orly De-Stressed, with accent nails of Pretty Beautiful Unlimited Candy Floss.

Kelly Negri KN 33

Topped the Orly base with DRK In Living Color, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped lines using Lina Make Your Mark 03 with MdU 91, and the rest of the nails images from Kelly Negree KN 33 with Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Decided to add a few more flowers, so double stamped using same KN 33 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate on the lines.

Dotted all floral centers using Painted Polish Stamped in Starfruit.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.
