Use product recipe with Tando

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Tando recipe week.
This week we were asked to use  one embossing folder, 2 ribbons and 3 gems.
So here is my altered tag with all products on it.
For the tag I used one of TANDO packages'  inside pieces: each Tando product has this packaging " tag" as it's just a perfect product for recycling.
So this " tag" was dry embossed with Sizzix Tim Holtz Postcard embossing folder. Then I decided to add more texture and used Tando Alphabet mask with heavy gel medium for more almost non- seen texture.
Then this tag was painted with DecoArt Mixed Media line paints and highlighted with  gold paint.
Tando new  Rustic Star was painted over and embellished with metal pieces.

The bottom part was embellished with a piece of Tando  Lace effect border and then I added those three gems over it.
The ribbons were added on the top of this altered tag and as your see I made the title as Share Hope.
So share your own hopes and we all be happy!

Steampunk ATC with Tando

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and this is my take for our usual Anything goes week with Tando.
This time I made a couple of Steampunk ATC CARDS and this was my very first time to use those best ever Tando Artist Trading Cards chipboard blanks.
As you can see both pieces are totally Tando, all  but Mediums that are DecoArt Mixed Media line.
The scull ATC was made with Tando Scullduggery  mask and Modeling paste and then, when dry, covered with layers of paints and glazes. On the top I added Cobweb mini mask in the same technique.
The blue paint splashes are made with Andy Skinner background stamp with acrylic paint from Stampendous Toxic stamp set. Then I added Tando screw pieces from the grab bag.
The right ATC piece was made with Cogs  mini mask in the same way as the first one. But this time I added 3 different chipboard pieces over this card.
The sentiments are from Tim Holtz and just fit the cards in this " out of the blue" way.

Love art journal page with Rubber Dance : tutorial

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new art page tutorial made for Rubber Dance Art stamps company.
This is Irit from Rubber Dance International team and I hope to inspire you to make art of art.
One of the best things with Rubber Dance stamps is that most of them are for art and about art. So this new art set called ARTIST PLATE is just precious and this page was  made with this set only.  Even the sentiments are all from the very same stamp set.
So here we go with the tutorial:

1. Stamp  a few images with the big stamps and permanent ink. Make some masks with the same images and arrange the " central piece" as shown using those masks. Add some " shadow" stamping around with the same stamps.

2.Use mists to cover  your stamped images . Let each color dry before you move to another one, unless you do like brown mess over your pages.

3. Stamp the pallet over another paper piece with clear embossing ink and heat emboss with black powder. Hand cut the embossed image.

4.Use stencil (mine was Tim Holtz) to add some dimension around the page. I used gel medium only, not some white texture paste as I wanted it to stay close to clear after it's dry.

5.Adhere the hand cut pallet over the page in the place that was stamped with masked image. Add paints to that pallet using Tattered Angels High Impacts or any other shiny, deep colored paints. Let the  paints dry a bit as we use a big splash over the image. Add some paints over the paint brushes and around.
Stamp the sentiments- all three of them-  and cut them- not too straight. Then glue them over the page. All page , with the sentiments, was misted again with the bright vintage mist.
And now scroll over the fragment to see the whole page on the bottom.
And make one for yourself!

Each second counts altered canvas with ESF

Hello my dear crafty friends, Irit here, welcome to my August tutorial made for Earth Safe Finishes blog, called Each Second Counts Altered Canvas.

I made an altered Mixed Media canvas with a twist and the twist is to recycle 10 cents kids toy as a main focal image of my canvas.  So let’s see how you can make a fancy canvas  using some cheap kids toys to fit whatever you wanted to say over your art piece.

All step by step directions can be seen in ESF BLOG HERE!!!
You are welcome!

Chalkboard deco with TPD

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last (long month with 5 projects) Two Paper Divas post.נ
This time I made this self made To do list chalkboard holder and yes, this is a real chalkboard cardstock  where you can write things with real chalk. So to make it intersting I stamped this gorgeous TPD To do list image  from Paper Elements 1 set over black chalkboard cardstock (DCWV) and heat embossed it with white powder as I want it to stay like forever. Who I am kidding? Maybe for a few weeks if we write and wipe and rewrite and wipe. But then we can always  stamp another board and another and another. Just buy this stamp and you can do it forever! By the way- you can paint the back side of this triangle stand with black chalkboard paint and yo use a chalkboard marker for your extra notes too, such as a shopping lists.
I made the texture flourish with Tando mask and texture paste and heat embossed it with some clear glitter.

Summer PHP blog hop

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my PHP summer projects post.
This week our Paper House Productions girls are celebrating Summer and we are going to share dozens of our new SUMMER projects. And here are a couple of mine.
This new lo I made for myself, I and me... I am not much a " selfie" scrapper, but when I have the  right products  that fit a fair photo, I do make such layouts. So here is one of those " about me" pieces.
I used Paper House Productions themed  papers and stickers and the photo was just a perfect match to the background paper. But is was too dull. So I ended with Tando stencil and WOW! Embossing Powders
" sunshine" made with texture paste and heat embossing over the wet surface. Then I stamped over the background with  Inspired by Stamping Seaside set.
Then I found this perfect FabScraps chipboard title and with a little help of VersaMark and embossing powder I made it shiny and a good fit to the " sun" above. It was this European summer in Latvia... Summer without sun. So I added one and made it my special summer vacation page.

The second piece is this Endless Summer layout and it's easy to make with just PHP papers and stickers and some gorgeous Summer photos only.

My second son lives in Ibiza, Spain and this is a little paradise island and I got some paradise summer  from him and it was a fun to make an easy made scrapbooking page with just 3 photos, great scrapbooking PHP paper, photo shot stickers, cork'd stickers and just a bit of blue (like water) mists.
Also I had some PHP palm tree stickers, I decided to add a couple of my own die cuts (just to feel that I am a bit more creative). But if you are not into a die cutting, you can easily use PHP cork's or die cut  palm stickers exactly in the middle, where I added my heat embossed home made die cuts.

ARTplorations : Enjoy life layout

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my very first post made for ARTplorations!
This time I decided to make a layout... I was a primary scrapper once and then moved to stamping and Mixed Media, but I still scrap and make layouts and keep own family memories alive.
So this layout is about our cruise to Greece  last year.
I used Create magazine sketch that was just perfect for 3 photos layout. As we didn't know anyone on the cruise and were too shy to ask to take our mutual photos, the only photos we have are of each other by each other. I used themed paper and embellishments, but altered the background with stencils, texture paste, glitter and inks.
And ARTplorations stencils were just the great  fit to this altered background.
I used Bubbles stencil  with Peacock Feathers  distress ink over the  patterned paper and those are all circles you can see as the background.
Then I added Confetti Circles over the upper part of the basic cardstock and those are those lines in the sky.
The last, but not least are my glittered birds in the sky. Made with Some Birds stencil and white texture paste and then clear glitter was added to the wet paste and I heat embossed it a bit. The great thing about stencils is that you can use them from both sides and I really used  it from the back to make the birds  to fly to the " no photos" side of  my layout.
So as you can see- stencils are not just for Mixed Media! If you are a scrapbooker you still can use them on your pages and to make each and every page unique.

Art ATC with Rubber dance, Tando and Earth Safe Finishes

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I am going to share a couple of ATC made with Rubber Dance stamps and Tando masks and chipboards.

As you can see the theme of both is a vision of art or a Muse. So first I stamped those fantastic Rubber Dance sayings with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white powder.
Than I made those eyes and splatters using Tando masks and Earth Safe Finish Texture paste.
Both pieces were painted  with distress inks and then I added a pieces of  Tando chipboard clock that was painted with Earth Safe Finish Chalk paint in Huckleberry cobbler paint.  The painted pieces were covered than with ESF No Voc Varnish.
Those are the stamps I used from Rubber Dance:

Celebrate the great day

This page was published in Create magazine March issue.
Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my showcase of Paper House Productions Snapshots  stickers.
For those who are new to this product- those are adorable photo stickers with add -ons on  some of them and it's just so easy to use and so lovely to add to your scrapbooking, cardmaking or all other paper projects.
For this showcase I made this lovely summer layout with photos of my adorable grand babies celebrating Jewish Holiday called Shavuot. This is an early summer Holiday we celebrate as a tribute to nature and to all things mother nature gives us and this is a reason they hold a basket full of veggies and fruits and wear this flower bouquet. (The little one  doesn't like anything over  her head, so it stayed there for a second only).
The easy way to make garden page is just to use PHP Garden paper pad. Period. Any single paper from this pad will do the job, so I picked a couple and hand cut big images to overlap the background paper.
I also added inked over stencil flowers, lot of  home die cuts made from the patterned paper and then I played with PHP stickers.

Products  list:
 Paper House Productions
Other products:
 Dies- Die- Versions
Mask: Memory box
Inks: Ranger
 Step by step instructions:
1.Use green and yellow distress inks over the flowers mask and add the images over the background patterned paper.Hand cut the flower watering can and the strawberries and glue them on both corners as shown.
2. Die cut the hexagons background and adhere it over the page. Glue both photos over the die cut background.Die cut the bow and glue it to connect both photos as shown. Hand cut the " Home grown" circle and glue it on the bottom as shown.
3. Adhere all 3d stickers over the photos and over the hand cut circle. Add 3snapshots stickers on the top of the photo and one extra on the can.
4. Die cut the  Celebrate sentiment from patterned paper and the " great day" sentiment from a piece of red cardstock.Make your mixed die cut title over the photo.
I entered this project to Let's get arty challenge blog for Alter the patterned paper background. I used mask and inks over the patterned background here.

32 years: True story lo

This page was published in Create magazine March issue.
Hello my dear crafty friends!
This is Irit here today and this is my True story layout story.
Usually it's pretty hard to make masculine layouts. You can't add too many embellishments; you can't add to many rhinestones, glitter, bling or anything sparkle. The colors are pretty much mute and monochromatic and finally our men don't like to be on that side of a camera.
So when I have good photos of my husband for already 32 years, I scrap it . But if this photo fits the most gorgeous Paper House Productions  Old World  paper pad patterns, I am  more than happy with it.
This photo I took on our Cyprus short cruise vacation just screamed " scrap me" with those old window paper. To make it more interesting  used distress ink with a stencil over the paper to imitate the old stone wall (kind of it at least) and then the only products that are not PHP are my mixed title made with a part of die cut tag and a few letter stickers.
It's so fun and easy to make great pages with our PHP loads of stickers of every possible kind!

Products used:
Paper House Productions:
Old World paper pad
Birds 3d stickers
 Garden Canvas art  stickers
 Picture Perfect Cork'd stickers
 Family Chalkboard stickers
Other products:
Tag- Pink Paislee
Letters- American Crafts
Stencil- Memory box
Inks- Ranger

Step by step instructions:
1. Cut the window paper  into two piece. The left strip should be cut as a brick wall pattern. The inside should be cut  into 8*8'' piece. Make the stone pattern with a stencil and brown distress ink and then glue the 8*8'' paper over the basic green one.
2.Glue the photo under the window and add cut out tag and letters title as shown.
3. Add all possible stickers around the page as shown. Hand write your journalling over the chalkboard sticker and glue it near the photo.

Moving in circles with RD

Hello my dear crafty friends 1 Today I am going to share my new double art journal pages made with a new Rubber Dance gorgeous  Round in circles set of stamps.
When I first got those stamps I thought that I need to make an art page about something " going in circles" and this is how this page was born. So I made it with a lot of circles and titled it as " Walking in circles in my own neverland" (it means going nowhere doing nothing and just circling around myself as it happens a lot lately).
I picked this blue- red color scheme  and black stamping and used word stencils to make the writing (not easy task after all if you want it to be in circles).

Let's say it's not a last time I will use this stamp set. I already have a clue about the next " circled" project.
