Mckenna with all of her bows in her hair. She looked beautiful.
Madison and Dad looking for the bunny that lives in our yard.
An afternoon filled with sprinklers and root beer floats.
Mckenna had her tonsils and adenoids out. She did soo well and didn’t cry once before they took her back.
She even went back to the OR by herself. It kind of broke my heart.
After the surgery, she was a little drowsy and slept for 4 hours when we took her home.
Madison fell asleep reading her book and made a little tent out of it.
We went to the circus with Grandma and Grandpa and had a great time, but had to leave early because Mckenna spiked a fever. We got home and her temp was 103 so I took her to the ER. They got her some medicine and she felt a lot better the next day.
Jason finished his second year of law school! We were all so proud of him – it was a CRAZY semester and celebrated lots when he got done.
Mckenna and Madison looking for bugs.
Madison’s first haircut! We finally cut off some of her curls (mullett).
Our first trip to the lake! Madison could have stayed in the water all day – she threw a fit everyone time we got her out and would even try to jump in while the boat was moving.
We celebrated Jason’s 31st birthday before we left for Montana. Happy Birthday, honey!
The first day of the road trip was great. The girls were happy, Madison entertained herself by drawing all over, we only spent 16 hours in the car together, it was a good day.
The second day wasn’t so hot. A deer ran into our car, we didn’t hit it, the deer hit us. That added a few hundred dollars and extra hours to our trip. But at least we were all safe!
The girls loved spending time with their cousins again!
My little nerd.
Mckenna and Madison love their “papa”.
Jason’s awesome shishkabob snake.
He officially turned 31!
The girls had a blast with Aunt Kerri when she came to visit. She even got Mckenna to do P90x with her.
Great-grandma Lofgren turned 85!
