Siblings are rad.

This last weekend, my little sister Marianne wed her sweet Garret in the Boise Idaho temple. Oh how I love weddings and this one was amazing! It was so fun to be there for the week before and be involved in all the last minute really important preparations like . . .

getting pedicures in a really scary ghetto nail salon that I picked randomly off the internet.
Seriously this last week was one of the best few days of my life. I love love love coming from a big family (I love that Keith comes from a big family too) and I hope someday to have a big family of my own. I count my siblings as some of my choicest blessings.

Ah, but back to important preparations . . . trying on our old wedding dresses to make sure they still fit (and to give Mari a big scare and tell her we plan to wear them to her wedding reception).

Love this picture, love the people in it. Bri and Wen (and me too).

The sweet newlyweds. Are they not the cutest thing you have ever seen? I absolutely love Garret, he is wonderful and a perfect addition to our family. He is rad (and huge, 6'5").

Oh yeah, preparations. Practicing our best picture faces.

This pictures belongs in Vogue.

When I am with my brother, all we do is take sweet pictures of ourselves and then laugh at them. It provides us with hours of cheap entertainment.

So, maybe I wasn't the biggest help to my mom this past week. I mostly enjoyed some good old quality family time. Isn't it about time anyway?

P.S. I took about 200 pictures last week . . . stay tuned for more.

The Claw!

In case you were unaware, my father invented "the claw." He has been doing "the claw" since I was a wee little one. Almost every night as a child, my dad would pin down all of us and give us a "beatin" accompanied by "the claw." We pretended that it was torture, but we loved it. Thankfully it has been years since I have been "clawed" as my children now get that privilege. My boys worship their Grandpa. I honestly thought no child could adore him as much as Benson, but I think Griffin may even love him more. We love our Grandpa. In fact, I think it would be safe to say that my father is their favorite person in the world, even over me. It's something about that "claw."

And in case you didn't notice, I am the blonde, female version of my father. We look very much alike. And Benson looks just like him. If you put all three of our baby pictures together, you can't tell who is who. Has anyone noticed who Griffin looks like? That's a joke by the way. :)
