Some day I will own a pumpkin patch!

I pretty much live for our annual visit to a pumpkin patch. Ya know the kind-corn mazes, blow-up bouncy houses, tractor rides. I seriously love going to these places. I keep telling Keith to quit his company and start a pumpkin patch. We could farm all spring and summer and work ourselves to death in September and October. Sounds amazing right? Seriously, we are going to do this some day.

Anyway, this was our first year going to Cornbelly's, the mother of all pumpkin patches. We spent three hours there on Monday night. It was so fun. I was in heaven and so were the boys. Except for when we walked through a giant blow up monster and terrified all of our children to the point of shaking. :)

Here are the boys at the entrance. Too funny.

Who carries an almost one-year-old in a front pack? We do! Leo loves this thing. And he is wearing a Halloween outfit that we bought from Old Navy and I am pretty sure is supposed to be a girls' outfit. Hehe.

Learning how to 'normal smile' in pictures.

Digging the finger shadow in this picture. Benson wears those sunglasses everywhere. What a stud.
Walking through the hay maze. MUCH better than the corn maze if you ask me.
Keith looks the hottest when on a tractor!
Ah YEAH! The cowtrain baby. Look at all those parents riding with their kids! Not us. Woot.
Blow-up pony races. I tried this for a little, until I realized I might wet my pants.
Sweet punkin.
Keith kept going on all the slides. Leo was not too thrilled about it. I even tried out the bouncy houses too.
Totally want to put this in my yard some day.
I am a lucky girl. Surrounded by these cutie pies all the time.
For the record, Benson and I are the same person.
I want this giant rocking chair.
Yay for October!

We are so excited for Halloween and the upcoming holidays! I seriously can hardly stand it. Mostly because Keith got the RADDEST (pretty sure that isn't a word) costume ever yesterday. I love this time of year!

I can't help myself

Pretty sure you aren't supposed to let babies play with balloons. Woops. I couldn't stop him. He was having just too much fun.
MMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Yum.
Pure joy.
The cutest baby ever!

Ah man, I love this baby of mine. He is the sweetest little thing. We are quickly approaching his 1st birthday and I am dreading it! I just want him to stay 11 months and snuggle me in the morning with his morning bottle and pull everything out of the garbage cans and dart to the dishwasher or fridge whenever it is open and spend all of his time trying to play with his older brothers and wave at everyone everywhere and crawl around my house forever. That Baby Leo is so wonderful. I am so lucky to have him as my baby. If all babes were like Leo, I would have a million. He is starting to call me mom and dad-dad. And he says bababa when I bring him a bottle. He is a good little sleeper and is happy to explore all day long. He is kind of getting bigger and I think is nearing 17 lbs. And, he is adored by all. Benson and Griffin love him to pieces.

Leo adores Benson and laughs at everything he does. I think he is still a little bit scared of Griffin, but I know he loves him. And I am not sure he has a favorite parent. I think he loves Keith and I equally. And we are all suckers for our Little Leo. We are so glad we got a third boy. He is the sweetest.

Oh yeah, and leave me your email if you haven't already. I will be taking this lovely blog of mine private pretty soon.

Random

Time for a random post, just for catching up sake. I am too lazy to document all of our craziness in long drawn out ways, so how about some tidbits of what has happened in the last few weeks. PS, I think it has been a month since Benson's surgery. We survived! Yay! Although the sweet medical bills are starting to show up in the mail, so I guess when those are paid off, we will see if we will actually survive or not!

Random #1. The one who changes the most around here is Leo. Each day, he learns a new trick. He is the happiest baby on the planet. And drinks real milk now! Yay for no more formula.

And he eats lots of real people food!
Random #2. Sadly for us, we discovered last month that Leo can't eat all real people food. Like peanuts for example.
That is one rashy baby. I let him eat some bread that had touched peanut butter, and we got hives a few hours later. Yuck. I had to google them to make sure that is even what they were. We are pretty inexperienced in visiting the Dr. or having medical issues, until now. We had him allergy-tested and it turns out he is allergic to peanuts, egg whites and oats. Not the best news, but we are optimistic that the egg white and oat allergy will go away. But no reeces for Leo, which is pretty sad, because in my opinion nothing beats a peanut butter treat.

Random #3. After dealing with broken glasses for way too long, I finally bit the bullet and got new glasses. Benson took a picture of them for you. Too bad I had just gotten out of bed in this picture. Don't I look awesome? For the record, I look and sound like a man when I wake up. Isn't Keith lucky?
Random #4. The weather has certainly been changing too. I was so terrified during our week-long stay at the hospital that I was going to miss Autumn. Luckily, it is still here and glorious! I love this time of year, mostly for the change in wardrobe! That means wearing hats and looking extremely adorable all the time.
Random #5. We took a late trip up to Bridal Veil Falls and nearly froze to death. And spilled a 64 oz drink of soda in my car on the way there. The whole thing. Luckily it was Diet soda. And there is a reason there aren't many picture of my older kids in this post-probably because they are really cooperative for taking pictures. Not.
Random #6. We have discovered that Leo is a wild man and loves the swings. He kicks and kicks and giggles and giggles and waves and claps the whole time. Cutest.Thing.Ever. P.S. I swear I like my other kids, but this Leo is just so much fun!
Random #7. Friday Fun Days! This is my favorite time of the week. Since my lil sis Mari lives close by now, we get together every Friday for Friday Fun Day! In the summer we went swimming or sat by a lake or played outside for FFD. Now, we generally shop and shop and then go to a Playplace and then shop some more. We ALWAYS go to Target and then we choose some other fun places to visit. Because, how can something be fun if Target isn't involved!? Recently we spend the entire day trying on boots and dreaming what it would be like to own 400 pairs of sweet boots.
Random #8. And Mari is so patient with me and my munchkin boys, who don't love shopping so much, but love taking pictures with my phone and playing Angry Birds all day. Don't worry, we let them get popcorn and Icees at Target, and sometimes we even spend time at the Toy store.

I LOVE having my sis live so close and I LOVE how helpful she is. Without her, I couldn't spend an entire day shopping. I so look forward to our Friday playdates and most of the time it is the highlight of the week. If only every day were Friday!
Random #9. Another random bit of information- I think I am going to make my blog private. Eventually. I don't want to, but think it may be time (or Keith thinks so). If you like to check in on us Crazies, leave me your email so I can invite you.

September 11

Before all the madness of late-September occurred, my sweetie pie turned 30. I remember when we got married I never really believed we would ever get that old. Yet, somehow we are there. Well, Keith anyway. I still have another year and a few months. If you ask Keith if he feels 30, he says he feels 60. Haha. I think it is because he works so hard. Thankfully we had a little getaway just before he turned 30. It was a nice break, before "real life" came and took us to the hospital for a week.

We were gone for 10 days prior to Keith's birthday and at his parents' house the day before. Keith's parents were kind enough to get him a Sam's Club chocolate cake and sing to him. Then, we all decided to go roller staking! It was so much fun.

It was our kiddos' first rollerblading trip. Benson was not a fan and never really caught on. He was pretty grateful when we told him he could go play in the playland instead. (I don't know why Keith's face is so red in this picture, but it makes me laugh really hard.)
Griffin was a natural, which is hilarious because he is generally pretty clumsy. He loved pushing Rex around and Rex loved it too. How fun to push your baby in a stroller and roller blade!
Griffey was so dang proud of himself. He said, "Mom, take my picture with my sweet skates on." So I did. :)
It was really fun to roller blade around with Keith's family. We did all sorts of old school fun stuff in the rink and the kids played and played. PS, how cool is my 80's lace shirt? I pretty much have to convince myself every morning that I can't wear it every single day.
Amy and Rex. Lisa and Leo. Amy was even a mother warrior and went in the playland so that Rex could play. She is a better mother than me.
I wish this picture wasn't so blurry, but Mary had some pretty sweet moves. I was very impressed.
Keith would fling Baby Leo all around and he loved it! It was so adorable.

We sure had fun celebrating Keith's birth. Keith is the man, and now I guess he is a 30 year old man! Although this new decade has started out a little rough (aka appendicitis and discovering Leo has MULTIPLE food allergies), we are excited to see what it brings! Yay for the thirties!!!
