Thomson Spirit in Lisbon

The cruise ship THOMSON SPIRIT visited Lisbon on 4 May 2013 and I photographed her on arrival from the river Tagus in excellent light conditions. It was nice to see again the old NIEUW AMSTERDAM of 1983, the first contemporary cruise ship built in St. Nazaire...

THOMSON DREAM em Lisboa na primeira escala

Fez escala em Lisboa pela primeira vez com o nome actual, o navio de cruzeiros THOMSON DREAM, ex-COSTA EUROPA, ex-WESTERDAM, ex-HOMERIC, que se encontra fretado por 10 anos à companhia Thomson Cruises desde Abril de 2010. 

O navio atracou a Santa Apolónia ao amanhecer de 23 de Outubro de 2010 e largou para Vigo pelas 16h00. Construido em 1986 em Papenburg para a Home Lines como HOMERIC, este navio esteve em Lisboa como WESTERDAM (Holland America) e mais tarde com as cores da Costa. 

O THOMSON DREAM vai efectuar uma modernização no estaleiro Blohm & Voss, em Hamburgo, onde vai permanecer durante 63 dias antes de seguir para as Caraíbas em Dezembro, com escalas em Leixões e Funchal.
