The Day After....
So it's the day after thanksgiving, how is it so far? I remember when I was younger, the day after the holiday was usually very quiet, somber, almost sad. It's probably because of all the energy spent or just because it's time to clean up or maybe because it's time to go back to reality. Who knows, right? Anyway, our thanksgiving went well. Like I mentioned before, any celebration only became a 'big deal' here in our house because of our little girl....and that alone makes me and my husband excited about it. We planned on spending the day with just the three of us.....threesomeness is the word another Juliana used....and that's exactly what we did. We didn't have the 'big bird' itself instead we had lobsters and shrimps. For the side dish, my daughter had her all time favorite, salad pasta while my husband had baked potatoes and some green beans for veggies. Me? Can you guess what I had?
