TSA Club Evening of the 13th of december 2019

Months, I know. It has been months since I was able to go to the club, but as I managed at last past friday, I snapped in good tradition pictures of the games being played.

And it is still a wide and varied bunch of games taking place, so let's have a look...

Fantasy was very present tonight, with a game of Frostgrave being fought out,

While at the same time, two battles of The 9th Age raged on the tables.

The Warhammer 40k League saw it's final game taking place as Sisters of Battle took on Salamanders.

While in a non-league game Orks and Deamons clashed.

As always, there was a variety of boardgames taking place, catering both young and the, erm, not so young.

Patrick and Liam gave Cruel Seas a try.

While our cyclists tried and dominate the road.

In the far west, posse's held a shoot-out.

And while Patrick guided his brave dungeoneers through an adventure,

Albert worked slinetly on in his little painting corner.

And so the year ends for me as I won`t be able to make it the next two weeks, but I`ll try and bring as many reports as possible again in the new year!

TSA Clubevening of the 2nd of August 2019

So it has been a while since I brought a picture report of our club's evenings, and yes, that had it's reasons.

Work, renovations and something else that will be unveiled in the future all had to do with it, but this week, for the first time in over a month I managed to go.

Noshi had her Heroquest game, and I didn't make any gaming appointments, instead catching up and doing some "game studying" during the evening.  So let's have a look at what was on the tables!

Glenn and his compadres where doing a shoutout in the Far West.

Cruel Seas was tried and tested for one of the first times at the club this evening, as Liam guided some "not so young" spirits through the rules.

Sven led another session of his Gangs of New York / Steampunk RPG Blades in the Dark

Nemesis organised a Kill Team game for both his daughters, because one must corrupt the next generation early enough.

The 40k League thundered onwards, with 4 battles being in full swing for the conveted trophy.
 Genestealer Cults versus Adeptus Custodes
 Salamander Space Marines versus T'au
 Orks versus Ulthwe Eldar
Space Wolves versus Blood Angels

Age of Sigmar made an appearance tonight, as Heikki and Glenn went to war.  But can someone that reads this point out WHERE in the rulebook it is written who gets first turn in scenarios...

My "study case" tonight, the 9th Age is the game I'll be building a force for soonish (after the move) and drop in on some tournaments as well in the coming years.  So I followed this game with intrest, and it took me back to my old Warhammer nostalgia a lot, as it is after all a community driven continuation of the gamesystem...

And it where two gorgeous armies on the table as well...

Said Heroquest group from the beginning in full action.

A large battle took place under the Men who would be Kings rulesystem.

Our president tried to best his opponent in a Napoleonic boardgame.  Story tells this is such a rare occurence that chances are bigger that out honorary president would shave his mustache off instead...

And a small intermezzo, as Mike tried his hand at Magic...

So that was the clubevening in a nutshell once more.  Great and varied games, some nicely painted armies and scenery was to be seen, and a good heap of players came along tonight.

TSA Clubevening of the 24th of May 2019

Two days ago I was at the club to face Nemesis in a game of Future War Commander, of which you  got a batrep yesterday.

And of course that meant I could make the tour of the played games again, and see what was rolling at the club this evening.

The Axis and Allies game continued this week.

Star Wars Legions was being played again, as the Rebels launched a raid.

In the Wild West, guns where blazing.

Marc brought along Swordpoint... in scale 2mm.  Yeah, that`s even to small for me...

A german U Boot sneaked below the waves in this app supported game.

The Heroquest adventurers went on in making their stories.

A Ninth Age battle raged in full galore as the Tomb Kings faced the Lizardmen.

While dodging the camera, our club president was actually moved from his office to play a game!

A 28mm ancients battle took place tonight.

For the 40k League, two battles where fought, one putting Orks against Blood Angels, the other seeing kin-fight between Craftworld and Dark Eldar. (I forgot to snap a picture of that second game though, being playing myself and it finished faster then expected)

In the final game of the night, the North assaulted a confederate position.

Heikki in the meantime worked hard on getting his Kharadrim ready...

Now, I will be attending a bit less the coming months, but when I am able to go, I will make certain to snap some pictures and show you what is being played at our venue!
