Opening a Date A Bullet booster box

Today's opening is one of a booster box for the Weiss Schwarz cardgame, and more specifically the Date A Bullet expansion.

While I have no intention to actually play the game, I am aiming to collect the series (though those two signature cards will be a hell to get).

I got the cards through Cardmarket, and the box arrived recently, so without further ado, let's open it and the 6 boosters inside, seeing if there are some nice additions to the collecting binder!

Not a bad haul at all, with some nice foils to replace commons and uncommons, and no double rare cards.

Just a pity I didn`t score the motherload, but we keep trying ;-)

Weiss Schwarz Date A Live booster opening

 Booster pack opening today!

And it's for my very first cards of the Weiss Schwarz cardgame.

I don`t have any plans on actually playing this game, nor collecting full sets.  But I do hope to grab some nice character representations from all the various lines, and if I`m very lucky to actually score some of those autograph cards that are ultra rare scattered in the ranges.

I grabbed the boosters through cardMarket from Spain, at 15 euro for the 3, so let's open these 8 cards each packs up.  And see what we got out of them, and if there is some "value" amongst the non keepers...

So that's it, the contents of the booster packs.  Looking over the 160 cards list for this series, we have the following worthy pulls for my "to keep" binder... Yoshino and the expensive Tokha.

Now to go list the other ones!

My Birthday Girl Kurumi

 Ara ara!

In this post, I`m taking a look at the gorgeous Kurumi figure I received a few weeks ago for my birthday, gifted to me by my dolly Noshi.

And what a lovely figure it is, the "Alluring Kimono version" made by KD Colle in scale 1/7, meaning she stands at about 23 cm tall.

She comes with her time altering fireweapons, in the form of her trusted pistol, but also a rifle, mounted on a greatly printed base.

But the main atraction of course of this figure is her kimono, full of exquisite detailing as lotus flowers are over it.  The kimono has a beautiful shading to it, both front and back, and has ribbons attached to it as well.

And even the black ribbon at her back comes with a nice golden pattern on it, as well as subtle printing in a dark grey.

Her face is also a top of the line piece of work, and her clockwork eye is fantastically rendered on the model.

A truly amazing figure, which now stands in our living room display along one of the other Angels, Noshi's Yoshino.
