Mindless Zombie for Malifaux.

As I have run out of spray primer, I am looking at a number (a very large number) of premiered but unfinished figures.

One set I have is the Malifaux Mindless Zombies.

So here is the first one. Or more accurately, the first half of one.
No idea what trauma has shattered this reanimated corpse (though my money is on the Riot Breaker.
The skin tone is Citadel Rakash Flesh with a Citadel Agrax Earthshade wash. The inside of the mouth is Citadel Screamer Pink with a Drakenhof Nightshade wash.
The trailing entrails are Screamer Pink, dry brushed with Citadel Terminatus Stone then a wash of Drakenhof Nightshade. The blood trail is made by mixing a small quantity of Screamer Pink mixed with Army Painter Red Shade making a translucent paint with a small amount of pigment

Now on to a complete zombie...

Guild Guard - urban edition

I had painted up a Guild Guard to back up the Latino Posse (do not tell Perdita I said that) and based suitably.

Of course, Guild Guard are more likely to be found on the streets of Malifaux city, so I based a second one with my traditional Slaters Granite Sett insert.
It is a dramatic if slightly awkward pose.

Wardens - The Future of Law Enforcement in Malifaux

Wardens are magical constructs created to assist in keeping order in the Guild prisons of Malifaux.

This sprue photograph shows the components for the two wardens (and was taken in 2018, they have been sitting on the side awaiting painting for a while).
They are armed with projected claw on a chain to grab and drag back any miscreant...
... And a steam powered fist to do damage at range.

If I was a better painter, I would have been tempted to paint a Superman logo on the cape.
I am not sure about the suitability of a cape in a prison riot (see Watchmen and The Incredibles).

The second Warden is more suitably dressed.

The two of them in action.
Assisted by a Riot Breaker, another Guild construct.

Mr Graves and Mr Tannen

Mr Graves and Mr Tannen work well together, one passing the other anyone that they cannot deal with themselves.

Mr Tannen - Neverborn Enforcer

Mr Tannen does not look like much, an elderly man wandering the casino. But Woe betide anyone who attracts his attention.

He does have a nasty little pocket knife for those moments when bad luck is not enough.

Mr Graves - Neverborn Enforcer

Mr Graves and Mr Tannen both appear to be human, but are actually Neverborn Mimics.

Mr Graves is not the brightest of creatures, but is rarely found without a proverbial blunt instrument.

He is quite often found in the company of Mr Tannen, who chats enough for both of them.

The pair remind me of Mr Croup and Mr Vandemar, two assassins for hire who haunt the passages of "London Below" in "Neverwhere".
