Konflict '47 Axis Stahltruppen

With the latest issue of Wargames Illustrated there was a sprue of the latest plastics for the revised version of Konflict '47 - Warlord Games' Weird War Two game based on Bolt Action.

There were two sets of sprues, US jump Infantry or Axis Stahltruppen, I searched out the latter.

Here are the sprues.

There are parts to build three Stahltruppen (powered suits).
There are three right arms with twin-linked assault rifles (there is a loose twin linked assault rifle as well).
There are three MG42 right arms and what I am guessing is a squeeze bore light cannon for anti-suit work.
There are also Panzerfausts for full anti-tank use.
There are an assortment of heads and ammunition, plus what looks like a grenade launcher and some scary looking knives.

C-SPEC ONI Suits

Anvil Industries has just released two Print on Demand Heavy Power Suit, One shooting, the other standing.

They are multipart kits with either a separate head or a hatch.

Both are armed with a Light Machine Gun, one held two handed (shooting), the other in one hand, the other pointing.
The ONI is at the edge of being a Powered Suit, the arms of the operator are external to the suit, but there are two matching big powered arms slaved to their movement.. The operators legs are contained within the upper parts of the suit's legs.

Any resemblance to a GuGes Landmate is coincidental.

Evil Bear British Powered Suit

Way back when (Colours 2015) I bought two British ultramodern troopers in powered armour. It has taken a while to get one of them near to finished.
Armed with a GPMG and a backpack mounted ammunition supply, it can lay down heavy firepower. The armour and the shield on the left arm provide them with protection from small arms fire.
The ammunition feed requires a lot of manipulation to get it in the right shape. I added some additional support where the belt goes into the gun.
Not completely convinced that it will fit in the Foxhound (another Evil Bear product).

Weird War 2 British Armoured Infantry

There are currently two manufacturers making British WWW2 armoured infantry, Warlord/Clockwork Goblin and West Wind.

The Warlord/Clockwork Goblin Galahad armoured infantry man.
The West Wind British Steel armoured infantryman.
Two comparison shots

The British Steel is armed with a Vickers medium machine gun, the Galahad with a Bren light machine gun fitted with a drum magazine (if it was a K gun I would expect a higher rate of fire).

The British Steel is also available with a Boyes anti tank rifle, a flamethrower and a grenade/mortar gun. In the rules there are options to add disposable anti tank rockets (PIAT-D).

There are no weapon options on the Galahad,

Here is a nearly completed West Wind SOTR British Steel Armoured Infantryman,

Konflikt '47 British Galahad powered suit

So at Warfare I bought the preview pack of three Galahad powered suits for Weird War 2 games.

I decided to build the first one on a 30mm lipped base to match my existing Westwind SOTR figures (especially the British Steel powered suit).

The figure came as a pack of three with four right arms with MGs, eight left arms and four heads with  British helmets and no gas masks.

Note the spare magazine on the left hip. I reinforced the joins on the arm with greenstuff.
It is not clear if this is supposed to be the AA magazine on a Bren gun or a Vickers K gun.

This has been undercoated and will be base painted with PSC British tank green.
