Vanity Post - my musical 80s............

A friend converted some old music cassettes of songs from a band I played with in the 80s. Apex Beat....a Chorlton (Manchester) based group...we played together for a quite a time until muppets and dissension met. Some very good music came out over the years so just trying to save it for 'posterity'. Excuse the pics....one of me in my later 'Indigo Prime' days (see link down the right hand side for that vid....) and one of the band freezing outside a caravan in Edinburgh where we used to play for a week every so often....attempting a Beatles style Hamburg but that never worked out either.....

Vanity post......

Just found a copy of the only commercially available recording I was ever on.......

Twas a Beach Boys compilation tribute album by the then singer of Indigo Prime, Sean Macreavy. We did one song, 'Never Learn Not To Love' .....Charles Manson (yes, him) penned this and Dennis Wilson  reworked it..... originally titled 'Ceased to Exist'. 

Amazon had one copy but haven't seen it since.....

And now on You Tube thanks to the wonders of modern technology in the shape of my 14 year old son....

Indigo Prime - If I Believed - the early 90s....

Finally found a file converter that worked - http://www.pcfreetime.com/ - watch the 'freebie' uploads that you need to untick etc but otherwise did the job.

I have a bunch more tapes that I may try and get converted....who says I won't leave anything for my children :)

Me in the 90s.....playing bass....

Badly converted .VOB file...tried a freebie converter before paying for it but the song starts halfway through and the video, without sound, starts after 3.20...then ends after 20 seconds or so...any recommendations would be appreciated :)

Anyway....if it works a little all is well until I get a better upload......I shall chase my youth more later :)
