A Reptile Digimon which has grown up and become able to walk on two legs, it has an appearance like a tiny dinosaur. Because it is still on the way to adulthood, its power is low, but as its personality is quite ferocious, it doesn't understand fear. It has grown hard, sharp claws on both its hands and feet, and demonstrates its power in battle. It is also a being that foretells evolution to a great and powerful Digimon. Its Special Move is spitting flame breath from its mouth to attack the opponent (Baby Flame).
The effect on Agumon's Digicore due to the X-Antibody
Its qualities for evolving into a Greymon-species, which are exceptionally outstanding as Dinosaur-types, have improved, characteristic blue lines are visible in its body color, and it is no longer classified as a Reptile-type, but rather as a Dinosaur-type. Its claws have sharpened, making them more lethal, and as a result of its ferocity being drawn out more strongly, it is now capable of firing its "Baby Burner", in which it amasses single shots of "Baby Flame" in its mouth and then spews it out all at once.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode[edit]

Taiga meets Agumon (X-Antibody) after going through the distortion in the Colosseum's basement. It invites Taiga to join the Infinity Mountain investigation team, as they're short on manpower. It then explains everything properly: how Infinity Mountain is riddled with the X-Program and would be a danger if it spread to the Digital World, so they formed a team of X-Antibody holders, gathered by Omegamon (X-Antibody) and Dukemon (X-Antibody), but they fully rely on them as they have almost no members. How Infinity Mountain got mixed with a lot of data so it's not what it used to be but it was now the only way to get to Yggdrasill, whose seal was broken by Vitium. How Infinity Mountain was crawling with emulated Digimon, their enemies, and skeletons of data of the Royal Knights. How the threat was different from last time so few X-Antibodies manifested. Agumon then gives Taiga the "X-Program Reduction Field" to replace his money and items which couldn't enter Infinity Mountain, to protect Digimaru from the X-Program.

After Taiga talked to Greymon (X-Antibody) in the fourth floor of Infinity Mountain, Agumon sent him a mail, explaining they were on the Infinity Ocean so the switch to proceed to the next floor could be on the bottom of the ocean. Therefore, they'd need the help of a water-resistant Digimon like Gomamon or, especially, Seadramon, who could dive really deep.

When Taiga comes back after defeating Yggdrasill in the 12th floor, Agumon congratulates him on the achievement and thanks him for it, happy they didn't have to be scared of the abyss, the outside world, or the X-Program anymore. If Taiga got to a floor that's a multiple of 10 and at least 20, Agumon will also allow him to start again from the immediate next floor instead of floor 1, as well as floor 13. He'll congratulate Taiga if he managed to get through floor 100 of Infinity Mountain and thank him for his hard work.

Agumon will also exchange certain items Taiga can get in Infinity Mountain for items he can take outside:
