Full of wholesomeness and discovery, and I feel the author did a great job in seizing that in both Dawson and Evan, despite their different levels of experience. They were written with full emotional depth, slowly revealed over the course of the book. The right amount of angst, enough to underline the characters' growth and make the built-up of emotions between them feel real and plausible. And, the sexual attraction was a delicious simmering under the surface of their interactions, translated in heated flirtations, a melting first kiss and , eventually, passionate sex scenes.
Never Have I Evan is smile-inducing, fun, cute, steamy and romantic. Recommended if you need a story to melt your hearts....more

It offers a refreshing take on the Greek/Roman pantheon as a whole, and on the myth of Castor and Pollux in particular.... gods as mere men, though, and seen through Lucius's eyes.
The author gave Castor, Pollux and Lucius distinct personalities. The twins were opposites in many ways, while also both kind, generous and witty. Both in love with Lucius and each giving him different things. How could a mere mortal not fall utterly in love with both of them?
Full of sexual tension, the story also packed a lot of sweetness and laughter. Fun, emotional and steamy, a refreshing read that I can't recommend enough. ...more

The writing was vivid and flawless, the romance well paced, nothing felt rushed or forced, and the story and the characters just felt so real. I got to know Bryce and Matty intimately, two imperfect, vulnerable men. Both dealt with loss, albeit for different reasons and on different levels, and they came from opposite worlds, with opposite views on life.
Matty and Bryce seemed an unlikely pairing and that's where the author worked her magic. She built for them a slow connection, from a tentative friendship and then more. They had so much to give, so much support and understanding. But they also had a lot to learn about themselves and to make important choices in order to make their relationship work.
Influenced is really about growth and taking chances, about finding yourself and who to trust, and that you can learn from people who are vastly different from your own self. It was captivating and insightful, and I love every page....more

The world building was interesting and the plot had lots of adventures, with pretty entertaining scenes and interactions. The protagonists, Sebastian and Jack were great fun, because their whole dynamic was based on biting remarks and back and forth snark. They got into a lot of trouble (some of their exploits were hilarious) and slowly, while their animosity remained on the surface, underneath strong feelings started to develop between them.
Sebastian and Jack were cute, witty and sweet, but all the secondary characters were also fun, memorable in their own way. Their dialogue and exchanges many times were silly, and kept a smile on my face all through the book. The story wraps up nicely, with our two MCs getting together, and there's promise of more of them in future books. Can't wait!...more

This book turned out to be an exciting action filled tale of rogues and heroes. When Shae saved rogue alpha Marc's life, he didn't expect he'd eventually find himself one of the main protagonists in taking down the villain behind the shifter killings all over the country. While Marc and Shae live a whirlwind romance, the plot moves forward with twists and turns, and surprises from both friends and foes.
A combination of romance, action and suspense, this book kept me guessing and captivated until the very end. Recommended....more

The wait was worth it, because Yours, Everlasting is a great adventure. There’s a richly developed and intricate world in this book and amazingly crafted characters. The book offers very quirky, good laughs, enough to balance the heartache, dicey situations, thrilling and difficult quests. As for the protagonists, Evander and Marcos, they completely won my heart. Finally, after all they've been through, they were rewarded with their long awaited, hard-won happiness...the wonderful ending this fairytale deserved!...more

Despite being so short, this book definitely packs an emotional punch. Fun as a whole and made me smile all through reading it, but it also offered an insightful view on what happiness means to different people, and even on being judged not matter what you do and what your life choices are. In Jace's case, when settling for other people's idea of less and monotonous was his vision of utter contentment. He didn't do extravagant or spontaneous, and he didn't like disruptions. And that's precisely what Paxton brought to Jace's life: disruption, fluster and, surprisingly, smiles and eventually love.
An unlikely pairing, Jace and Paxton. I absolutely enjoyed seeing how the author managed to convince me and them that they fit together....more

Although part of a series, Ice Devils can be read as a standalone and you can bet that I'm going to pick up the other ones.
I adored the protagonists, Sako and Blake. I liked the contrasts in them personality-wise, and the authors did a great job of gradually building their backstories and showing their connection. Their antagonisms was entertaining, they had fun, bantering and laughing, which I found appealing, and I was delighted that it continued throughout the story. I enjoyed watching both evolve, as they realistically moved from enemies to casual allies, to friends and then lovers.
With a coming out trope added to the mix of hockey life, Ice Devils was a really fun, moving and well written romance that definitely establishes the authors as ones I'll definitely watch for in the future.

Such a captivating cast, all easily recognised with their personalities and individual voices. My favourite being Lex, so cool and aloof on the outside, so troubled inside. Wonderfully written, with each nuance and idiosyncrasy so clear in my minds eye...I love him!

I had so much fun reading this book. A witty, cleverly paced paranormal with a romantic plot and a great cast of characters. I was hooked pretty quickly into this book and the protagonists. There is enough world building that I wasn't lost but there is definitely room for more. I really adored Nick and Corni. An unlikely pair at the beginning and enjoyed how the author made them fit together slowly through the book.
The story was interesting with plenty of suspense added to the plotline. Most of the secondary characters were so awesome that I would greatly appreciate books of their own in the future. I most definitely wouldn't mind more of Corni and Nick. Absolutely recommended.

When Alex takes a tumble down some stairs and Luke offers to help, Alex might be surprised to find out Luke's true feelings for him.
I adored Alex and Luke, and seeing them working through their doubts and emotions. Their story is super cute, sweet and I would say cuddly romance. This author has an amazing talent for writing fulfilling, touching stories within a short page count, and Out of Focus is no exception. It had everything I needed: little to no angst, charming characters, a touch of humor and just that feel-good vibe to it. I had a smile to my face throughout the read....more

I just wanted to hug Ash from the very beginning of the story. The author wrote him as an incredibly realistic character, consumed by doubts and fears, someone who's anxiety came from brutal past situations, damaging inner dialogue, worries and the dreadful reality of not feeling anything. Drew had saved him and given him a safe place to recover, and I'm glad the story didn't take the insta-fix route of the mate and love cures all. As a matter of fact, Drew and Ash had problems and were still in danger, even if not caused by those who have kept them prisoners.
It was an intense journey, to be sure. The unique point of view of a man who was insensitive to touch and witness passion through his experiences... because there was definitely passion between Ash and Drew. The author made me believe that, and made me believe in their love. The story kept me on pins and needles until the end, because I so wanted a happy ending for these two. An amazing romance and a great addition to the Mismatched Mates series....more

They're amazingly drawn, multi-faceted characters. Absolute opposites, yet both wounded, lost souls who gradually find healing in each other. Both kind and insightful, and I loved their connection, their honesty and their willingness to be vulnerable with each other. Watching their growth together and blending of needs, their openness and give-and-take, seeing them working together for their own, special HEA made their romance immensely touching.
Truly delightful, well-written and full of feelings, The Trail Boss and the Brat sucks you into the world of Farthigdale Ranch. It is a world of hard work and appreciation for nature. It's family and home, and a place that brings me great joy to visit.

It starts slow, focusing on characterisation and the beginning of the relationship between the Aleron and Spencer. These two endearing, charming men together set the tone, ensuring there is always the sweetness of their interactions to lighten the tension and foreboding created by their unknown enemy.
And then, the book picks up pace, with the romance and also the wider plotline. Aleron and Spencer become the wonderful couple they were always meant to be. They have come to rely on each other in a deep and harmonic way, feelings have deepened, and it’s very satisfying to see them grow closer and fall in love. What they have together is even more precious, considering the dangerous dark magic threatening all.
There are many secondary characters, most with essential parts to play and they enrich the story. I've gotten to know many of them through severally books, so I've come to care deeply for all. They have wonderful relationships and storylines and it’s impossible not to be invested in them and their future.
The suspense increases, the tiniest detail means something, and every clue could mean their salvation. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what will happen next. This is a very engaging book and I can always count on this author to take me out reality and throw me headfirst into the magic and mayhem that is this world she's created. Now, bring on the next book. Can't wait!...more

AI enjoyed this author’s take on a ghost haunting story. It was fun and sweet, with suspenseful and scary parts, while telling some historical facts. A great combination of paranormal investigation and romance, the story gave off an increasing creepy and spine-chilling kind of discomfort as the plot moved forward. Thankfully, rather than unbearable horror, it was more of a thriller with elements of unraveling a ghostly mystery as well as discoveries about the characters. Michael and Dane had a lot to figure out about their relationship and I had fun watching them reconnect while the tension and suspense built up around them.
Creepy with a touching romance, this book kept me engaged until the end. Recommended. ...more

Excellent humor, great banter, friendship, realistic college guys and two charming main characters, it was fun, flirty, angst-free, sexy and exactly what i needed.
The protagonists, Robbie and Brandon, were amazingly written. I loved them and how their relationship evolved. The experimenting, the kisses and touches, the steamy sex scenes ... they definitely had a sizzling chemistry. But it was their honest vulnerability, the tiny tender moments they shared that made this book special. The easy friendship, the complicity, support and love that eventually unfolded between them was all I could have wished for both.
I just adored every moment spent reading about Robbie and Brandon. With just the right amount of freaking out, uncertainty, a perfect dosage of fluff and the swooniest epilogue, this was an endearing, thoughtful romance and I can't recommend it enough.

The characters are morally ambiguous, there's blood, people get seriously hurt or die...yet, surprisingly, many parts of the story are actually pretty sweet. I honestly expected the book to be more angsty, considering Texas's bitterness and grief, and Sawyer's finding out about his ex bf criminal dealings. Instead I had a grin plastered on my face for most of the story.
Sawyer's reactions to biker club life and his initial interactions with Texas were hilarious. These two men clashed, snipped at each other and played pranks, all the while attracted to one another. Their relationship evolved through banter, doubts, heated kisses and passionate love making, and touching heart to heart moments. They were funny, sweet and hot, and I simply adored them together.
The danger to Sawyer's life added suspense to the plot, the angst to a minimum, so the book as a whole was lighthearted and entertaining. And, the Disciples and their friends were as fun to be around as ever. Can't get enough of these guys and I look forward to seeing them again next in this series. ...more
