"Effortless Mass Emails, But Lacks Edit and Forward Options"
What do you like best about Customer.io?

I like that i can send emails to a broad selection without manual intervention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

I don't like that i cannot amend a broadcast already sent, for example if a mistake has been made it cannot be corrected. I also think there should be a way to forward broadcasts sent to certain users so i have a copy in outlook. I also think when using BCC if a semicolon is used to separate multiple emails then the entire broadcast should fail or there should be a warning to say a comma has to be used. "The most flexible (and complete) messaging platform to convert users"
What do you like best about Customer.io?

Customer.io keeps bringing out cool new features! We've been loving two recent releases: being able to tell human vs. machine open rates, and their AI tools have saved us a bunch of time creating segments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Customer.io could provide valuable insights into our workspace metrics. For example, HubSpot offers recommendations on bounced or inactive contacts management. This presents an opportunity to not only optimize billing but also maintain robust data hygiene on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Customer Engagement Platform"
What do you like best about Customer.io?

It's a powerful platform. The UX of customer.io is very simple and clean, as compared to a lot of other engagement platforms I have used. The visual content editor is easy to use with great design flexibility, and I appreciate that segments are also easy to create, and I can view my campaign performance in an all-encompassing dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Some tools we use don't have native integrations with customer.io so we've had to rely on workarounds like Zapier or custom API setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use with Great Support, But Advanced Features Require Effort"
What do you like best about Customer.io?

I like Customer.io for its ease of use and quick setup. It offers many useful features that are easy to integrate with other tools. I use it often because it works smoothly, and the customer support team is helpful whenever I need assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Sometimes setting up advanced workflows or data integrations takes extra time and technical knowledge. The pricing can also increase as your contact list grows, which may not suit small teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Automation That Saves Time"
What do you like best about Customer.io?

The platform is very user-friendly and flexible. I can quickly set up automated workflows that reach the right customers at the right time, saving our team hours every week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

While Customer.io is very powerful, the learning curve can be a bit steep for beginners. Some of the advanced features take time to figure out, and the interface could be slightly more intuitive in certain areas. That said, once you get the hang of it, it’s incredibly effective. "Smooth sailing… until the lag hits"
What do you like best about Customer.io?

I really like how easy it is to navigate customer accounts and get the information I need quickly, the layout feels intuitive and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

The only downside is that the platform can be quite slow at times, and I occasionally run into lag, which makes handling multiple accounts a bit frustrating. If performance improves, it would be close to perfect for my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Organization with an Intuitive, User-Friendly Experience"
What do you like best about Customer.io?

The platform's straightforward user interface and overall ease of use make it simple to stay organized, providing direct and convenient access to the analysis dashboards. I'm also a fan of the AI assistant within customer.io, it really helps with lots of queries and questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

So far, I haven't encountered any significant downsides. If anything, there is a slight lag occasionally, which can make it a bit slower at times, but this issue is quite minor and hardly noticeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Event-Driven Emails with Customer.io"
What do you like best about Customer.io?

I appreciate Customer.io's intuitive presentation of its functionalities, which makes it easy for me to understand and utilize the tool without having to deeply search for features. The intelligence of Customer.io excels in that it straightforwardly facilitates my workflow, allowing easy configuration and usage for event-driven emails. The setup was seamless due to prior integrations, and although I'm diving into the codes for personal projects, I find integrating it with AI guidance straightforward. Additionally, the event-driven email capabilities are immensely beneficial in managing user onboarding, enhancing relationship management, improving conversions, and bolstering customer service. I also value its integration potential with other analytics and tracking tools, which helps create a streamlined, single source of truth setup, making my workflow more intentional and efficient. "A lot depends on what your business needs, data structure, and existing email build process."
What do you like best about Customer.io?

I think a lot of the segment-building logic works really well. I love that it's fairly clear how to group and/or rules appropriately; I've worked with one platform where certain groupings were simply not possible. The email code editor with preview works well if you are making your code on another platform and pasting it in. The support bot is one of the better bots out there (though it does hallucinate some). My account included access to live chat support (not all do!) and they are always very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

The drag-and-drop editor produces emails that look good ONLY If your basic design template was designed with customer.io's drag and drop editor in mind. If you're starting with a look-and-feel that you've been using somewhere else, you can't expect it to look the same or even GOOD. We don't have email developers on staff but were so disappointed in the drag and drop that we ended up having to find some workarounds to create emails in code. In many ways, a lot of things in customer.io really work best if they were created entirely with customer.io in mind -- trying to replicate or migrate existing processes can have really unexpected outcomes. Campaign building is pretty tidy and easy to use -- but the fact that campaign rules are incredibly limited if you want to use attributes that are at the object level instead of the profile level is a serious weakness. Access to dedicated CSM during launch period was hit-or-miss. From an implementation standpoint, our previous platform supported using a combination of two variables (unique user id plus email address) but c.io doesn't support that. We needed email address to be a "linker" for new profiles was critical, but not being able to combine that with another attribute causes all kinds of problems when users change their email, or for our MUA users who have multiple users on an account with different or shared email addresses.
