AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE

I, RHODA BLANCA C. CABATINGAN-TAGALOG, of legal age, Filipino,


and a resident of cor. Sancianco and Borromeo Sts., Cebu City, after having been
duly sworn to in accordance with law, hereby depose and say: That:

1. That I am the private complainant in the Criminal Case Nos. CEB-BRL-2269


to 2281 now pending before the Regional Trial Court of Barili, Cebu Branch 60;

2. That even before the filing of the above-entitled case, the parties in this case
have already entered into a Compromise Agreement which allowed the accusesd,
Reynaldo Alverio Carreon, to pay monthly installment and in case of default,
private complainant has a remedy to foreclose the property used as collateral by the
accused.

3. That with the foregoing, I have come into a decision to desist as I heretofore
execute this instant Affidavit of Desistance as I am no longer interested in pursuing
the criminal aspect of the above-mentioned cases;

4. That I execute this affidavit of desistance freely and voluntarily to attest to


the truth of the foregoing and for whatever purpose it may serve;
