RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE FELIX REYES CHAIRMAN OF PHILIPPINE CHAIRTY
SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE TO PROVIDE (1) UNIT MINI DUMP TRUCK FOR THE EFFECTIVE AND
EFFICIENT OPERATION OF BARANGAY DEAN LEOPOLDO YABES (PUG – OS), SINAIT, ILOCOS
SUR
WHEREAS, the Barangay Dean Leopoldo Yabes (Pug – os), Sinait, Ilocos Sur adheres to the declared
policies of the 1987 Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines, specifically Section 16, to protect and
advance the right of the people to a balanced and healthful ecology in accord with the rhythm and harmony
of nature;
WHEREAS, the Barangay Dean Leopoldo Yabes (Pug – os), Sinait, Ilocos Sur successfully adopted a
systematic and comprehensive Ecological Solid Waste Management Plan to better carry out the
aforementioned duty and to abide by the pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991 and
Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 (R.A. 9003);
WHEREAS, one of the vital equipment that will decide the success of the implementation of Solid Waste
Management Plan of our Barangay is a Mini Dump Truck;
WHEREAS, the Barangay Dean Leopoldo Yabes (Pug – os) has a total land area of _____ a total
population of One Thousand Seven Ninety-Seven (1,797), seven (7) Puroks with a total house hold of Four
Hundred Thirty-Five (435);
WHEREAS, the Barangay Dean Leopoldo Yabes (Pug – os) under the administration of former Barangay
Captain Michael Ancheta procured one (1) second hand mini dump truck in 2013 but it is no longer
serviceable;
WHEREAS, the provision to request the said Mini Dump Truck for the barangay to be used for the
operation and essential in the proper collection, disposal and transport of Solid Wastes being produced by
our barangay mates;
WHEREAS, the provision of the said equipment will ensure a successful long-term management of solid
wastes and it will also drastically improve the existing operations of the barangay for promoting the general
welfare of our constituents;
NOW THEREFORE, upon motion of Hon. Geraldine Malupeng Chairman Committee on Health and
Sanitation duly seconded by all, it was.
RESOLVED IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to request the Honorable Felix Reyes Chairman of Philippine
Charity Sweepstakes Office, to provide one (1) unit Mini Dump Truck for the efficient and effective
operation of our Barangay;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution shall be furnished to the office of the Philippine
Charity Sweepstakes Office for his information and appropriate approval.
