NOTE: To make the top longer you can add some sitches to the foundation chain. Take the
gauge into account: if you want to length it 5cm/2", you should add 11 stitches.

YARN: This Top has been crocheted with Katia Menfis 100% (100gr/240m/262yds).

you will have three loops on your hook, slip the first loop through the other two loops on your

TAKE CARE: Getting the measurements of this sample is very important, otherwise the top's
proportions will not fit the model.
It's recommended to crochet a larger sample and take the measurements of the central part.

At the end of each row, ch 1 and turn the piece (this ch does not count as a stitch)

Always insert your hook in the second ch/st from hook at the beginning of each row.

Reserve a small piece of yarn to sew the shoulders before beginning the top (it is crocheted

Don't fasten off the yarn, after sewing the shoulders it is resumed to start with the front
edge.
SEW THE SHOULDERS
Sew the shoulders with an invisible seam. (See video 2)
NOTE: One shoulder will be one row wider than the other, sew it, later they will match.
FRONT EDGE AND TIE RIBBONS
Row 1: 1pB, (over stitch 22 of the previous row/place marker), *1pBe,1pB*/[29,(30,31,33)(34,
35)] times, 12pB, we reach the back neck: 1pB only in the points that have a "v" shape (*) [total
26,(29,32,35)(38,41) pB], 1slst to the last stich on the shoulder (the shoulders remain even),
ch1, turn.
(*) NOTE: The Brioche stitch is formed by two turns, one makes a relief or drawing on "v" and
the other a channel.
Try it on, to make sure it feels good. If the neckline on the back is too tight, add a few more
stitches in that area, this time distributed and over the channel stitches.

Row 2: skip the first st (slst), 1pB in each stitch (until the marker for row 1), continue with
ch151 (for the tie ribbon), turn.

NOTE: if extra stitches were added when picking up the stitches on the back neckline, the
number of extra stitches must be added to the number of pB (indicated in colors according to

Row 3: Skip the first stitch, 1pB in each stitch until the end. Fasten off.
FINISHING TOUCHES
Optionally, a round of hdcslst can be given around the armhole (start at the marker at the
bottom of the armhole) . In the standard model (white) it did not occur.
In the model in photo 11, one round of hdcslst has been worked.
