Jane's Doodles Spotlight Blog Hop

Hello everyone!! :o)

Welcome to a Jane's Doodles Spotlight Blog HopToday we are featuring FOUR new Christmas/Winter themed stamp sets released into the store. FOUR!!! :o)

Super cuteness overload!! :o) I had so much fun playing with these, so I created five cards for today. :o)

But prior I continue and show you my cards, I would like to welcome a new member to our design team, Linda from NetherlandsWelcome to the Team, Linda!!! I'm happy that you are joining us. :o)

And here are cards I've created for today. :o)

As you can see, I went crazy with brown/kraft/white color combination. :o) I love it!! It's definitely my favorite Christmas color combination so far. :o)

I colored all images in watercolor technique, using only one color: Distress Ink Ground Espresso. I love monochrome watercoloring. I find it great way to achieve Vintage kind of look, even with cute stamps. :o)

Except stamps from new stamp sets, I used snowflakes stamps from older Jane's Doodles stamp sets: Driving Home for Christmas and Winter Fun.

And now close up photos of my cards. :o)

    Birthday Balloons Card (LMMS Inspiration)

    Hi everyone! :o)

It's Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Week and I made this square, CAS (clean and simple), Birthday Balloons Card. :o)

I made this card for my nephew Anej, my cousin's son, who celebrated his 5th birthday on Saturday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANEJ!!!   I'm soooo late with this card... I'm sure he won't mind. It's never too late for good wishes. :o)

To make this card, I was inspired with a card I shared a week ago, Robot Birthday Card. I went with similar design, same color scheme, same sentiment... I used different images, layout, card dimensions are different...

I used an adorable LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Celebrate Balloons' rubber stampstamped the image on a thick white watercolor paper, colored it in watercolor technique using Distress Inks and fussy cut it out, leaving thin border around the image. Then I glued the image on a 2 mm thick foam sheet scrap and fussy cut it again.

Then I stamped a sentiment on a white top panel. I used Create a Smile 'Mini Birthday' stamp set.

drew a line frame with black fine liner to make my CAS card more interesting. To do so, I was inspired with STUNNING work by Faye Wynn-Jones of Stampin Fluffnstuff. Be sure to visit her blog, her coloring skills and stunning CAS designs will blow you away. Thank you for the inspiration Faye!! :o)

Lastly, I glued a 1 mm thick foam sheet square on the panel, glued it on a top folded square card base, glued the image on the card, embellished the card with two enamel dots and my card was finished. :o)

    Card dimensions: 102 mm x 102 mm (4" x 4")
