GORGEOUS!!! Love love LOVE!!!!! :o)

And here is what I prepared for today: Blue Merry Christmas Card. :o)

How I made this Card...

For my card I used stamps from all three stamp sets: snowflakes from 'Snowflakes' stamp set, a sweater from 'Hygge Time' stamp set and a sentiment from 'Wild Winter' stamp set.

As my stamps didn't arrive on time, Jane sent me digital stamps to work with them and prepare something for the hop.

First I created a snowflakes patterned paper on my laptop, using Microsoft Word and Paint. I printed the paper A4 size and cut it to a desirable size panel. I saved the rest of the patterned paper for future projects.

I wrapped the patterned paper panel with a vellum paper and glued it on a white top folded card base.

Then I printed the sweater image twice, one in white and second in blue color. I fussy cut the blue sweater and added more color to it. I ink blended entire sweater with a Distress Ink Blueprint Sketch and colored details with a white gel pen and various blue fine liners.

When I was satisfied with the sweater color, I glued the colored sweater over the white one and fussy cut it, leaving white thin border around it.

Then I worked on sentiment, but I didn't like it and change it after my stamps arrived. First version was printed in blue, but it looked weird. I heat embossed the sentiment 'Merry Christmas' in white on a black cardstock paper and cut it to a desirable stripe.

Lastly, I assembled my card. I glued 3-D foams on the back of the image and the sentiment stripe and glued them on the card. As a finishing touch, I embellished my card with blue enamel dots.

I love creating Christmas cards in non traditional Christmas colors and LOVE how this one turned out. :o)

    Wedding Card no. #5

    Happy Friday!!! :o)

Today I want to share with you a CAS (clean and simple), tri-fold Wedding Card I made last month. I made it for my good friend who needed a wedding card for her family member. The wedding was three weeks ago. Congratulations to a couple!!! :o)

I used BEAUTIFUL Stamping Bella 'uptown couple BRETT and BRENDA get married' rubber stamp. This is my fifth take on this stamp. If you like, you can find my previous cards using this image hereherehere and here.

    How I made the card...

First I worked on a card base. I made two white top folded card bases, both same size (4" x 5 3/4"). I wrote couple's names and wedding date on my computer in MS Word (font: Palace Script) and printed it on one card base. I trimmed the card base a bit and glued two card bases together, to get tri-fold card.

Then I stamped the image on a watercolor paper and colored the image in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. After drying, I fussy cut the image and traced edges with a black marker.

I stamped another image on a white cardstock paper panel, slightly smaller than the card base, colored bouquet "green parts" with green markers and rest of the image with a grey marker. I glued the panel on the card base.

Then I softened the watercolored image with a stylus ball on a soft working mat, which curled the image a bit, and glued the image over the grey colored one. This added a bit of dimension to the image.

Lastly I made an envelope from a vellum paper, slightly larger than a card base. First I stamped elegant swirls on the vellum paper, using a Distress Ink Picket Fence. I left it dry for couple hours. When the ink was dry, I cut the paper to a desirable size and made an envelope using MS scoring board.

    Card measurements: 101 mm x 146 mm (4" x 5 3/4")

Rainbow Butterfly Gatefold Window Card (IC #11)

        Hi everyone! :o)

Today I want to share with you this Rainbow Butterfly Gatefold Window Card. :o)

I made this Interactive (IC) GATEFOLD WINDOW CARD for my Celebrating 30 Days of Pisces 2019 personal challenge. If you want to find out more about it, just follow the link provided. :o)

This is an eleventh type of IC I made for my challenge. I made 15 different types of interactive cards during Pisces period, which was my personal challenge. I completed my challenge, achieved my goals and had a lot of fun. I wrote a short review about the challenge here.

To make this card I was inspired with GORGEOUS cards made by Vicky Papaioannou. You can find them on her blog here and a video tutorial hereThank you for the inspiration and tutorial, Vicky!!! :o)

        How I made this card...

For a card base I used a white cardstock paper cut to 7 1/2" x 5". I scored the paper at 1 7/8" and 5 5/8" on the longer side and folded paper along scored lines. I got a card base measured 3 3/4" x 5". Then I die cut butterfly on the gate flaps, half on one and half on second, just like Vicky did in her video, and my card base was finished.

For the inside I decided to go with die cut inlay technique. I cut a rainbow patterned paper panel, slightly smaller than the card base and die cut the butterfly in it. I die cut another butterfly in a white cardstock paper scrap. I glued the panel inside the card and glued all die cut pieces on their place. To add more interest to the butterfly, I drew white dots on butterfly's wings using a white pigment ink pen.

Then I created a belt that will keep the card closed. I heat embossed a sentiment in white on a vellum paper and cut it to a desirable size. I wrapped the vellum belt around the card (not too tight), removed it and glued two endings together to form a belt. I placed the belt on the card to keep it closed and my card was finished. :o)

        Card measurements: 95 mm x 127 mm (3 3/4" x 5")

        List of supplies:

I LOVE how my card turned out!!! :o)

Confirmation Gatefold Card (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

        Hi everyone! :o)

Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this Confirmation Gatefold Card:o)

I made this card for my brother's godson, who has confirmation tomorrow.

To make this card I used a sentiment from GORGEOUS Jane's Doodles 'Bless Your Heart' stamp set.

        How I made this card...

        For a card base I used a white cardstock paper cut to 7" x 5 1/2". I scored the paper at 1 3/4" and 5 1/4" on the longer side and folded paper along scored lines. I got a card base measured 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".

I drew a cross on a patterned paper with a pencil and cut along lines. Then I drew a slightly larger cross on the white cardsotck paper and cut it out. I erased pencil marks and glued patterned cross on the white one.

I glued two patterned paper stripes on gate flaps. I glued three paper stripes on the back of the cross to get a bit of dimension (I didn't have enough 3-D foam in my stash, so I used stacked paper stripes instead) and glued it on the left gate.

Then I created a belt that will keep card closed. I heat embossed a sentiment in white on a vellum paper and cut it to a desirable size. I wrapped the vellum belt around the card (not too tight), removed it and glued two endings together to form a belt. I placed the belt on the card to keep it closed and my card was finished. :o)

I love how my card turned out and my brother too (he will give this card to his godson), which was the most important to me. :o)

        Card measurements: 89 mm x 140 mm (3 1/2" x 5 1/2")

        List of supplies :
