Una cajita redonda... A little round box...

Hace unos meses les mostré la caja de un tequila que reciclé; si no lo recuerdan, pueden retroceder en el tiempo y verla aquí. Esa caja de color morado hace ya algún tiempo que encontró un nuevo hogar en España. En ese mismo post está la foto de otra cajita pequeña, la cual había quedado pendiente; ¡por fin salió del cajón del olvido y se renovó!

A few months ago I showed you how I recycled a tequila box,  in case you don't remember, you can go back in time and see it here. That purple box found a new home in Spain some time ago. In that same post there is a photo of a small box; which finally left the drawer of oblivion and have been renewed!!!

Un trozo de tela, un par de adornos y un bonito bordado hecho con el mismo diseño del calendario que Gwen nos obsequió en Diciembre pasado.
A little piece of fabric, a couple of embellishments and a beautiful embroidery made with the same design from the calendar that Gwen gave us last December.

¡Tiene el tamaño perfecto para guardar pequeños tesoros! :)

Esta cajita forma parte de un regalo de cumpleaños muy, muy atrasado y va camino a Argentina, donde estoy segura que encontrará un pequeño espacio en su nuevo hogar :)

This little box is part of a very, very late birthday present and is on his way to Argentina, where I am sure it will find a small space in it's new home :)

"En Febrero...

... los corderos son más bellos".
"In February the lambs are more beautiful".

El diseño es un regalo que Dany ofrece gentilmente en su blog y en cuanto lo vi, ¡me encantaron esos borreguitos!
The design is a gift that Dany kindly offers on her blog and as soon I saw it, I loved those little lambs!

Como pueden ver, he utilizado el bordado para hacer un bolso. Después de mucho pensarlo, al final me decidí a bordar el refrán en español.
As you can see, I've used the embroidery to make a pouch. After much thinking, I finally decided to embroider the saying in spanish.

Es verdad que los corderos lucen muy bellos, y no sólo porque ya es Febrero, también ayuda mucho el hilo con que los bordé. Me costo un poco de trabajo bordar con ese hilo que no había utilizado antes, pero el resultado me gusta mucho.
It is true that the lambs look very beautiful, and not just because it's February already, the thread I've used for the embroidery is also very helpful. It was a bit dificult to embroider with, because I hadn't used it before, but I love the result.

El hilo wisper me lo regalo hace tiempo Laura, como parte de un intercambio que hicimos. La tela verde donde hice el bordado es del primer intercambio que hice con mi querida amiga Graciela, ella misma la tiñó la tela. La tela del bolso es del intercambio con Alexandra, de la entrada anterior. Y las hermosas tijeras que ven en las fotos, han sido uno más de los regalos de María... ¡Un bolso hecho con muestras de cariño, me encanta!


The beautiful wisper thread was a gift from an exchange that Laura and I did a while ago. The green evenweave fabric where I did the embroidery is from the first exchange I did with my dear friend Graciela, she made the dyed on the fabric. The fabric I used for the bag is from the exchange with Alexandra, on my previous entry. And the beautiful scissors that you can see in the photos, are one more of the lovely gifts from María... A pouch made with samples of love, I love that!

En las fotos se aprecian los días nublados que hemos tenido aquí, en el centro de México... México en náhuatl significa "en el ombligo de la luna", desde que leí este dato hace muchos años en una biblioteca, me encantó... debe ser que me encanta la luna :-)))... Como les decía, tenemos un clima agradable, espero que la humedad me ayude con la tos que tengo desde el año pasado; aunque las fotos queden algo oscuras.


You can see by the photos that we have cloudy days here, in central México... México in náhuatl means "in the navel of the moon", since I read in a library this fact many years ago, I loved it... maybe because I love the moon :-)))... As I was saying, we have a nice weather, I hope humidity helps me with the cough I have since last year; although the photos look a little bit dark.
