Coffee and donuts video for the day, skip the first 40 seconds
and the coolest piece of petroliana I've seen in a while, the daily rate card Hertz had to rent the GT 350H

Shelby GT350H that was left out in an Ohio back yard for 40 years to rust away might just have been saved in time. Jerry Heasley finds another cool barnfind, and gets the car pulled out of decades of neglect, on camera.
in the video, around the 7 minute mark, we learn that the original owner bought spare parts and stuffed them over the beams in the garage

Jerryheasley@gmail.com if you have a barn find or know of one.
Or call him at 806-236-3681.
He will feature you in the video and/or buy the car, or pay a finder's fee if you don't own the car and just know where it is, etc.

People are still driving the Alcan 5000 with 1960's cool cars!
Rally and Endurance racing fan Jeffrey Wacker and his 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente, met up with a 1966 Shelby GT 350H
“Starting in Kirkland, Washington, we worked our way north through British Columbia, the Yukon Territory and into Alaska -- stopping in Whitehorse, Dawson City, Valdez, Denali, Fairbanks and the Arctic Circle

Shelby GT 350 Cobra Mustang turns up in the Chicago area, in terrible shape but mostly complete as the widow finally lets it pass onto the next owner after 48 years
full story doesn't have much more to add, but that the floors were rotted out, and it had been sitting for about 30 years due to an engine fire, and it's now with a new owner / collector in California

some cool newer Mustangs from this mornings annual Knotts Berry Farm Fabulous Fords Forever
these two do a remarkable job of using the slab sides to grab attention. I'm pretty sure Ive never seen either of these before, the signature and the snake with scaly numbers
that is damn cool
a California limited edition, not a California Special.
the blue and red work really well
and framing the Shelby name with the hood scoop is a brilliant design

the GT 350H found in Compton... then bought, and used as bait on a trailer to hook a GT 500
Rich Barnes has a Mustang restoration business in Golden Colorado, and was in Compton looking for this GT 350, bought it, was on the way home when getting gas in San Jose, and the guy at the next gas pump over spoke up about having a GT 500 in a shipping container that he'd blown up the motor while running Pike's Peak
and that is why you connect on facebook to magazines like Hot Rod. You learn of stories like this on their websites http://www.hotrod.com/cars/featured/1108-1968-ford-mustang-shelby-g-t-350-bait-hooks-a-bigger-fish/ from barn find story collector Jerry Heasley
