We try to pick one that we all wanted to watch earlier in the year and never had a chance. Ghostbusters was met with some mixed reviews through out the house, for me well...

EPISODE 1: BAD MARY - Young Jake has just acquired a new job as the ‘assistant manager’ at the sinister RAVENWOLF TOWERS. He quickly finds himself facing an assortment of strange residents – a diminutive Vampire Hunter, a Mad Doctor with lethal secrets and a beautifully seductive Maiden – who may just be the Ravenwolf’s most lethal occupant.

Finally, something from Full Moon to truly get excited about! Ravenwolf Towers has serious potential that I hope Charles Band can keep it going this strong through the seven episodes that are on the schedule.

After the success of Trophy Heads Band jumps back to the studio for another episodic tale. This time dealing with a bit of Sci-Fi and a creepy atmosphere that seems to be right up fan's alley. It's only episode one and he is already dragging you deep into his vision. The set looks great and pop's off the screen when it needs to and grows dark in all the right places. You get drawn in within the first few minutes of this flick!

Not only does the setting suck you in but Band hits a home run with his misfit cast once again. Leading the creep factor has to be Maria Olsen. As if she was not creepy enough in Trophy Heads she will have you guessing your sanity in this one. I'm not sure what it is about her but wow she is top of the line creepy! We also get introduced to Evan Henderson who plays the assistant Manager something about his acting style drew me to his character. He is dull yet full of life (?) you can see the potential as he grows into this role!

We are also treated to Tom Devlin's 1313 FX studio doing the special effects. I really like Devlin's work and it shines well in Ravenwolf. In fact, we get something in a Full Moon feature that has been kind of absent lately and that would be bloody gore! And we get to see that in the first few minutes! He also brings to the show some pretty cool gadgets to go along with his makeup.

Also returning is younger brother Richard Band with yet another awesome score! When the credits first hit the screen I was in awe with the great sound's coming out of the speakers! And as the show went on the creepy sounds and score really brings you into the mix. This will be a must-buy soundtrack when or if it gets a proper release.

With a fantastic setting interesting storyline, a good looking cast to go along with some good special effects Ravenwolf Towers is defiantly worth looking into. The first episode hits on all cylinders sucking you into this strange world. I look forward to the second episode coming soon I just hope it holds up. We have so much to learn about this funhouse of a hotel.

With many people fearing the actions of superheroes, the government decides to push for the Hero Registration Act, a law that limits a hero's actions. This results in a division in The Avengers. Iron Man stands with this Act, claiming that their actions must be kept in check otherwise cities will continue to be destroyed, but Captain America feels that saving the world is daring enough and that they cannot rely on the government to protect the world. This escalates into an all-out war between Team Iron Man (Iron Man, Black Panther, Vision, Black Widow, War Machine, and Spider-Man) and Team Captain America (Captain America, Bucky Barnes, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, and Ant Man) while a new villain emerges.

Troma was quick to pick this up for distribution as Bowling had all the buzz in many of the horror driven message boards. I remember hearing about B.C. If you love dysfunction family comedies then why the heck have you not watched the Ranch yet? I'm not a fan of That 70's show but I love the chemistry between Kutcher and Masterson! This has to be one of my all time favorite shows on the small screen! Season one ended with a great cliffhanger but was quickly outdone by season two's cliffhanger! The cast is so perfect with each other really drawing you into the look and feel of ranch life.

I can not tell you enough this show is worth checking out on all levels! If you watch The Ranch let me know in the comments how you feel about it. Am I just over hyping this show? Was season Two even better than the first one?

When Full Moon announced this movie and called the first one a cult classic I was all about checking it out. Virgin Hunters was a fun silly movie about sex being illegal. You can check out that review here. As for the sequel they went a completely different direction. Sadly it was nowhere near as much fun...

So once again a group of aliens wants to take a vacation to the exotic planet earth to have sex in all these wonderful locations. Ok fine, I will go with that but when they get here and nobody is or as ever had sex we get this odd plot about how sex is good and we should all be doing it. I don't know, I just do not know how to write this, ugh.

The locations look like a cheap porn flick from the early '80s and the outfits from the local salvation army. You just never get drawn in but sadly it was not the point. This movie was just a cheap rip off of a Cinemax after dark movie but even those have to look better than this.

The cast is ok but they are made up of a group of adult entertainers so they knew their way around each other's bodies. So they were easy to watch just the material they had was pointless and horrible. The soundtrack was odd 80's synth pop that just does not fit in at all.

I always look to Full Moon movies to put me in a good mood when I just want some silly fun. The first Virgin Hunters were fun to watch where the sequel fall's really short. The sex is boring the location's sucked and the cast was uncomfortable and sadly they are making a third one. I'm sorry to say skip this in the worst way. Sausage Party was better than this one and that is sad.

A Killer Party You Won't Forget

When the pusher returns as a zombie and goes on a killing spree, their only recourse is to dump the body of one of their own recently dead, and have him return as a "good" zombie to face off with the "bad" one. After working on Toxic Avenger and Splatter University John Elias Michalakis steps up to the plate making his directorial debit with I was A Teenage Zombie and hits it out of the park. Taking what seems to be a good group of friends and a fun teenage romp mixing them together and getting one funny laid back movie. Using towns in his backyard of New York and New Jersey we get a nice blend of small town life with a big town flair.

Sometimes you just have to crack open that Blu-Ray case to a silly low budget movie and hope for the best. Buck wild is one of those buddy movies that never really finds its feet but the charm keeps you interested.

Surviving them is hell. And that is not a lie!

When you think of Christmas in August you think of the warm glow from the lights of the Christmas Tree, maybe a crackling fireplace, and of course snuggling under a blanket watching those wonderful musical Christmas specials. You come across a movie called Christmas Holiday with Gene Kelly and Deanna Durbin you think to yourself "oh this should be heartwarming full of charm and singing." But not this time instead you get a heartwarming Film-Noir.

When a group of expecting young couples head to Burt Fleming's mountaintop hotel for a weekend retreat (and discount abortions), they get more than they bargained for when the fetal undead come back for vengeance.

Do you remember those grosser than gross joke books? They were really big in the early part of the 80's? For some reason, one of those jokes always stuck with we, What is grosser than gross, A truckload of dead babies or a truckload of dead babies with one trying to eat its way out? Yeah, that was the joke I was forbidden to read those books. But on Friday nights we would walk the mall and sneak into the back aisle of the bookstore just to read them and I think that might be what director and writer Eamon Hardiman may have done. Or simply just drank a ton of beer read a few of these jokes and wrote this movie.

A Blonde Beauty and a Savage Beast... alone in the Jungle!

And even if this movie is a complete slow burner the story of Voo Doo and witchcraft weave for a great story! Siodmak also brings with him a young man by the name of Raymond Burr who of course is Perry Mason! I was excited to watch Burr in something other than the lawyer roll that I grew up watching. When Tony Stark and Bruce Banner try to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program called Ultron, things go horribly wrong and it's up to Earth's Mightiest Heroes to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plans.

Well ok, so this took me almost a year to watch beginning to end. I had such a hard time wanting to watch this Avengers. I feel they have jumped way too quickly into the newer universes for Marvel. I'm christ we are at the Civil War already. I guess being a classic fan I wanted more of that you know when the comic books were fun and you did not need a comic book encyclopedia to keep up. I was so lost I had no clue who Ultron really was and then this Vision guy what the hell!!

I stopped reading superhero books because of crap like this and I have grown burnt out on the movies. I loved Iron Man but maybe it was because I did not really read the books back in the day. The only time I saw Iron Man was when he crossed over to Captian America or Spider-Man books. I don't know maybe I'm just being an ass.

Overall I did not hate the movie it looks great and the CG is done well. Hulk has never looked better. And the Marvel movies still look a lot better then D.C. movies all tho I will be watching Aquaman in the theaters only because he is my favorite hero. I skipped the new Captin movie and will wait for the Blu-Ray on that one as well. So how did you guys feel about this movie? Am I the only one that did not care? And I feel like Disney will do the same thing with Star Wars giving us too much! Slow down guys we did not mind having to wait decades for a new Star Wars movie so maybe you should just slow down when it comes to super heroes. Ok Rant over...
