Better once than never

Taas art journal -sivu. Osui nuo Shakespearen viisaat sanat silmään kirjasta, joten otin ja saksin ne talteen :) (järkyttyneille lohduksi: kirja on ihan askartelua varten kirpparilta ostettu, Williamin kootut istuu kirjahyllyssä saksien ulottumattomissa ;) ). Muuten sivu rakentui Twinkling H2O -vesiväreistä, akryylimaalista, washiteipistä, leimoista, musteista, glitteristä jne.

Another art journal page to share. I saw those wise words by Shakespeare in a book, took my scissors and cut the quote out to use in my page :) (no need to get upset though: the book I used is bought for crafting purposes from a flea market, my edition of William's complete works is safe and sound sitting on my book shelf ;) ). Other than the quote, there are some Twinkling H2O watercolours, acrylic paints, some washi tape, rubber stamping, inks, glitter, etc. on that page.

Tirppa ja tagi - A tag and a bird

Eräällä blogiystävällä on näillä paikkeilla marraskuuta synttärit ja lähetin hänelle sitä juhlistamaan kortin ja tämän tagin. Kortti oli  aika lailla kopio eräästä jo tekemästäni kortista, josta synttärisankari oli tykännyt mutta jota minulla ei enää ollut (siksi siis jouduin kopioimaan itseäni :D ), joten en siitä ottanut kuvaa. Menin tässä tagissa mixed media -linjalle, koska aavistelin ystäväisen siitä pitävän. Tähän meni taas aika lailla kaikenlaista gessosta Distress Staineihin, washiteipistä nappiin ja vellumkukista Enamel Accentsiin. Taustassa käytin sabluunoita ja leimasimia ja lintu on stanssattu Memory Boxin stanssilla ja kuorrutettu kohojauheella.

A bloggy friend of mine celebrates her birthday in November and to celebrate, I sent her a birthday card and this tag. For the card I copied myself ;) as my bloggy friend had liked a certain card I had made earlier but as I didn't have that particular card anymore, I was forced to copy myself - so no pictures of the card today as you've already basically seen it! I wanted to create a mixed media tag for this friend of mine as I thought she might like it, so I used the usual suspects for this: gesso, Distress Stains, washi tape, punched vellum flowers, white Enamel Accents, etc. I used a couple of stencil and some rubber stamping, too. The bird is die cut with a Memory Box die and heat embossed with embossing powder.

Tähtiä ja kuusikulmioita - Stars and hexagons

Ja taas olisi veljenpojan synttärien aika! :D Tällä kertaa kyseessä on miehen veljenpoika, joka täyttää tulevana viikonloppuna 14 vuotta. Tähän korttiin käytin paria sabluunaa: tähdet mustetin Distress Inkillä Timpan sabluunan läpi ja nuo kuusikulmiot leikkasin The Crafter's Workshopin sabluunan avulla. Keltaiseen kuusikulmioon embossasin valkoisella jauheella ja Hero Artsin leimalla nuo viivat ja turkoosiin kuusikulmioon leimasin The Artistic Stamperin leimalla pilkkuja. Onnea-tekstin leimasin tuohon My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla stanssattuun banneriin, jonka alla on vähän washiteippiä. Lisänä mustia paljetteja (kyllä, olin rohkea ja laitoin teinipojan korttiin paljetteja! Mustia sentään, mutta paljetteja silti! :D ) ja muutama Enamel Accents -tippa.

And once again it's time for a nephew's birthday! :D This time it's my hubby's nephew who turns 14 this weekend. I made this card using stencils: I applied some Distress Ink through a Tim Holtz stencil and cut the hexagons using The Crafter's Workshop stencil. I stamped with a Hero Arts stamp and heat embossed the lines on the yellow hexagon, and the dots on the teal hexagon I stamped with The Artistic Stamper stamp. The banner is diecut with a My Favorite Things die and the sentiment on it says 'Congrats'. In addition, there's some washi tape, some sequins (yes, sequins on a teenage boy's birthday card! Mad, I know, but at least they're black.. ;D ) and some white Enamel Accents drops.

Note to self

Tähän art journal -sivuun tuli sitten kerroksia. Alunperin tässä oli pelkästään Dylusions-suihkeita mutta nyt loppuviimein niistä ei näy jälkeäkään :D No haitanneeko tuo. Tähän sivuun siis meni niitä suihkeita, akryylimaaleja, gessoa, sabluunoita (Tim Holtz, SODAlicious), leimoja (KaiserCraft, 7Gypsies, Artemio), musteita, washiteippiä jne.

There are some layers on this page, I can tell you that! This page began its life coloured with Dylusions ink sprays but now, on the finished page, you can't see them at all :D Oh well, nevermind. I made this page with those sprays, acrylic paints, gesso, stencils (Tim Holtz, SODAlicious), stamps (KaiserCraft, 7Gypsies, Artemio), inks, washi tape, etc.

Fragile he said

Flunssaparantolasta, päivää! Täällä onkin ollut varsin railakas viikko, perheen pienimmät miehet ovat molemmat olleet flunssassa ja minun viikkoni on sitten ollut sen mukainen... Noh, josko nyt pahin olisi jo takanapäin ja selvemmät vedet (ja tyhjemmät nenät! ;D ) edessäpäin. Tämä art journal -sivu ei liity mitenkään flunssaan, olen sitä pikkuhiljaa pitemmällä ajalla tehnyt (lähinnä, koska en ole ehtinyt pitemmäksi aikaa askartelupöydän ääreen istahtaa). Sivu taitaa olla melkoinen sekamelska mutta minulle mieluinen, sillä se muistuttaa minua jostakusta. Aineksina tässä oli taas ne samat, akryylimaaleja, gessoa, mistejä, Distress Stainia, glass bead geliä, leimasin (Hero Arts), sabluunoita (The Crafter's Workshop), washiteippiä, geelikynää jne.

Hello from the House of Runny Noses! This past week has been quite a week, both our boys have been suffering from the flu and it hasn't been fun for anyone, let me tell you that. Hopefully, now it's all behind us and we can get on with life as usual. My art journal page has nothing to do with flu, I've been working on it slowly for a few days now (as I've been too busy to properly sit down at my craft table..). The page may look a bit haphazard but I like it as it reminds me of someone. Once again I used some acrylic paints, some gesso, mists, a Distress Stain, some glass bead gel, a stamp (by Hero Arts), a couple of stencils (by The Crafter's Workshop), some washi tape, a white gel pen, etc., to make the page.

Bury my head and not care

Pidetäänpäs pieni tauko noissa veljenpoikakorteissa (kyllä, vielä yksi kortti olisi tulossa... ;) ) ja pläjäytetään ruutuun art journal -sivu. Siitä on hetki, kun olen viimeksi ehtinyt sinne sotkea mutta tuossa päivänä muutamana oli tarve vääntää tällainen sivu. Ei ihan apinanraivolla mutta fiiliksellä kuitenkin ;) Löysin tuon strutsin kuvan lehdestä ja siitä se sitten lähti... Lisänä on kaikenlaista, akryylimaalia, NeoColor II:a, musteita, leimasimia, washiteippiä jne. Osa tekstistä on näkösällä mutta osan jätin tuonne kuvan alle. Jääköön sinne.

It's been a while since I had a chance to play in my art journal but the other day I just felt like I needed to make a page. This page. There's a bit of this and that on this page, the picture of the ostrich is from a magazine, then there are some acrylic paints, inks, NeoColor II crayons, rubber stamping, journaling (most of which is hidden under the picture of the ostrich. Best left there.), washi tapes and such.

To practice any art

Löysin koneen syövereistä pari vanhaa art journal -sivua, joita en ole näytille laittanut, joten paremman puuttessa bloggaan nyt ne. Nämä molemmat olivat hyvin nopeita sivuja, joiden taustat syntyivät, kun pyyhin muualta ylijäänyttä maalia 'talteen' näille sivuille. Tähän ensimmäiseen sivuun halusin tallettaa myös tuon Kurt Vonnegutin ajatelman taiteen tekemisestä, sillä vaikka en kutsuisi omia tekemisiäni taiteeksi, niin silti tuo ajatus toimii niidenkin tukena - lopputuloksella ei ole niin väliä kuin sillä tekemisellä, sillä se ilmentänee jotakin syvempää ja niin, on hyväksi sielulle :)

I found a couple of older art journal pages that I hadn't shown you yet so here they are. These both were very quick to make, I had mopped up some acrylic paint on these pages while doing something else and they, as such, became my backgrounds. The first page is about the Kurt Vonnegut quote which I think is beautiful and although I definitely would not call my makings 'art', the idea expressed in the quote works in them and it's something I'm trying to remember: it's not the end result that matters, it's the actual doing as it, perhaps, expresses something deeper and is good for the soul.

Toinen sivuista on ihan vain kollaasi-tyyppinen tekele, joka lähti rakentumaan tuosta ihanasta pinkistä postimerkistä :) Eli värit olivat siinä se 'juttu', ei niinkään mikään syvällisempi ajatus ;)

The second page is a collage type of making. There's no deeper meaning in it, I just liked the colours (and the pretty pink postage stamp :) ).

Easy days

Viime aikoina ei askartelurintamalla ole oikein tapahtunut mitään. En ole varsinaisesti kadottanut mojoani mutta enpä ole oikein saanut mitään aikaiseksikaan. Voipi ehkä sanoa, että olen vain hengannut :D Se tunne on taustalla tässäkin sivussa, joka kyllä syntyi jo toukokuun puolella mutta josta en ole ihan varma, onko se vielä valmis. Saapi nähdä. Tähän sivuun meni akryylimaaleja, Distress Inkejä, Hero Artsin tirppatrion yksi edustaja, washiteippiä, lyijykynää, sabluunaa sun muuta.

I haven't really been crafting lately. I've not lost my mojo or anything, I just haven't gotten around to doing anything. I think you could say that I've just been hanging around, floating in time. That feeling is embedded in this page as well, I made it back in May but I'm not really sure if it's finished yet. We'll see. Stuff I used to make this page? The usual suspects: acrylic paints, Distress Inks, a bird stamp from a Hero Arts Bird Trio set, some washi tape, a stencil and such.

Lisää synttärikortteja - More birthday cards

Kolmaskin veljenpoikani juhlii synttäreitään keväällä/alkukesästä ja "perinteitä kunnioittaen" tein hänellekin kolme korttia. Vaihtelun vuoksi tein tämän ensimmäisen tagin muotoon, eli leikkasin tagin Tim Holtzin stanssilla ja päällystin October Afternoonin papereilla, washiteipillä, leimakuvalla (auto Papermanian, teksti FinnStamperin, muut Wycinankan). Lisäksi hieman mininiittejä ja narua.

My nephew #3 also has his birthday during spring/early summer and I made three cards for him as well. Although, this first one is actually a tag, I die cut it with a Tim Holtz die and used October Afternoon papers and some washi tapes to decorate it along with some stamping (the car is a stamp by Papermania, the sentiment is by FinnStamper and says 'congrats', other stamps used are by Wycinanka). To finish it off I used some tiny staples and some twine.

Tämä seuraava kortti on hyvin rankasti inspiroitunut eräästä mallikortista Pattern Play -kurssilta. Embossasin siihen Papertrey Inkin pyörän, johon laitoin napit renkaiksi. Reunustoille laitoin paperia ja washiteippiä ja tekstin leimasin paperi"aurinkoon". Lisäksi vain hieman valkoista enamel accentsia.

This next card is very heavily inspired by a card on the Pattern Play course that I took some time ago. I heat embossed the bike (by Papertrey Ink) with black embossing powder and added some buttons as wheels. I used some bits of paper and washi tape to further decorate the card and added some white enamel accents drops.

Tässä vaiheessa alkoi jo poikakortti-ideat loppua (näin käy aina... :/ ), joten kolmanneksi kortiksi tein ihan simppelin CAS-kortin, johon maskasin Tingtura Designin pilviä ja sateenkaaren, jotka väritin ProMarkereilla. Lisäksi vain onnitteluteksti leimaten.

By the card #3 I was already running out of ideas for boy cards (this always happens to me.... :/ ) so I decided to make a simple CAS card with some Tingtura Design stamps that I masked to form the little scene with clouds and the rainbow. Then I simply stamped the sentiment ('congrats').

Nyt on kevään synttärisumasta selvitty ja seuraava poikasynttärikortti tarvitaan vasta syksyllä. Josko sitä siihen mennessä ehtisi kehitellä taas jotain ideaa... Kiitos, kun käväisit ja kiitos, jos kommentoit! Aurinkoista keskiviikkoa! :)

Veljenpojalle - For my nephew

Tässä taas näytille veljenpojalle menneitä synttärikortteja. Meidän antamamme kortin bloggasin jo aikaisemmin (klikklik), nämä kortit menivät 10 vuotta täyttäneelle pojalle isovanhempien ja isoisoäidin kautta. Veljenpoikani on onneksi sen verran huumorintajuinen, että uskalsin hänelle tehdä kortin tällä Doodlen kissalla, joka ei ehkä ihan kaikkien korttiin sopisi. Kattimattisen väritin ProMarkereilla, tekstin leimasin Papertrey Inkin aakkosilla. Sitten vain leimakuvan kiinnitys mustalle kartongille ja tarrapaloilla korttipohjaan ja lisäksi pari mustaa timanttia.

Here's another batch of birthday cards made for one of my nephews. I've already blogged the card we gave to him (see it here), these cards were given to him by his grandparents and his greatgrandma. My nephew, who turned 10, has a good sense of humour so I thought I could make a card with this DoodleFactory cat for him - this cat is perhaps not for everyone's taste... ;) I coloured the cat with ProMarkers and stamped the sentiment (goes something like 'hey dude, congrats') with Papertrey Ink alphabet stamps. Then I mounted the stamped image on black cardstock, attached it to card base with foam adhesives and added a couple of black rhinestones.

Seuraavakin kortti on melko CAS mutta ajattelin sen sopivan 'miehiseen makuun' :) Tätä varten embossasin valkoisella kohojauheella tuon Wycinankan tähden mustalle kartogille ja leikkasin irti. Tähden keskustaan laitoin pienen chipboard-tähden, jonka olin päällystänyt valkoisella enamel accentsilla. Raidat korttipohjaan tuli washiteipeistä ja mustat pisteet mustasta enamel accentsista.

The next card is quite CAS as well but I thought it might be to the liking of a young gentleman :) I heat embossed the star stamp (by Wycinanka) with white embossing powder on black cardstock and cut it out. I then attached a tiny chipboard star in the middle of it, I had coated the star with white enamel accents. I created the stripes with washi tapes, attached the star with foam adhesives and added the black dots with black enamel accents.

On one leg

Jatketaas taas art journalilla, tällä kerralla hieman simppelimpää linjaa. Hieman lehdistä saksittuja kuvia ja viisauksia, washiteippiä, kreppipaperia, spray inkiä ja leimaa ja onnekkaasti viereisen sivun teosta mukaan tulleet mustat roiskeet.

Another art journal page, this time somewhat simpler one. There's just some magazine clippings (the text says 'if you think about the next step too much, you'll spend all your life standing on one leg"), some washi tape, some crepe paper, some spray ink and stamping and some black splatters of ink that came about when I was making the page next to this one - a lucky mistake!

Step away

Tätä art journal -sivua lähdin vain tekemään sen kummemmin miettimättä, mitä teen (juu-u, joskus ihan oikeasti mietin etukäteen, mitä teen... ;D ). Lisäilin vain väriä sivulle - yllättäen tuota lempparikomboa, keltaista ja pinkkiä - maalia ja spray inkiä, neocolor II:a ja musteita. Suoraan sivulle, sabluunan läpi, roiskien ja leimaten. Lisäilin vähän washiteippiä ja leimakuvaa (Zettiology), valkoista kynää, mustaa kynää ja Prismacoloreita. Lopuksi vähän tekstiä aakkosleimoilla. Ehkä tämä sivu voi toimia muistutuksena itselle, että sieltä mukavuusalueelta tosiaan voisi joskus hilata itsensä pois, sen ulkopuolella saattaa olla hauskempaa ;)

This art journal page just happened, I didn't really think what I was doing (yes, I know it's surprising but sometimes I actually do think beforehand what I'll do... ;D ). I just started adding colour to the page, pink and yellow of course, no surprises there as it's my favourite combination at the moment. I added paint, I added spray inks, I added Neocolor II, I added inks. Straight to the page, through a stencil, as splatters, with rubber stamps. I added some washi tape and a stamped image (Zettiology), some white pen, some black pen and some Prismacolor pencils. Then some journaling with alphabet stamps. Maybe this page serves as a note to myself to sometimes drag myself out of my comfort zone, things might just be a bit more fun that way ;)

When your heart is on fire

Viime aikoina on tullut tehtyä enemmän art journal -sivuja (-sotkuja..?! ;D ) kuin kortteja, jotenkin on ollut hauskempaa nyt vain tehdä huolettomammin kuin miettiä turhan tarkkaan (kortteja siis yleensä mietin tarkempaan ja mittaan papereita millilleen, nämä sivut on jotain ihan muuta... ;D). Ihan kaikkia sivuja en ole vielä ehtinyt näyttää mutta tässä tulee taas yksi. Tämä alkoi keltaisesta maalista ja pinkistä spray inkistä, jotka olin sivuun pyyhkinyt joitain muita sivuja tehdessäni. Siihen sitten lisäilin hieman mustetta sabluunan läpi, washiteippejä, leimailua (Dina Wakleyn sydän, Suzi Blun tyttö, Wycinankan sydänrivi ja Dylusionsin boordi, Papertrey Inkin aakkoset), paljettia jne. Tuon typsyn leimasin vanhaan kirjan sivuun, teksti tuo hauskasti 'kerrosta' tyttöön. Tuo journaling-osa tuli vähän "pakosta" tuohon, näin nimittäin pöydälläni vanhan lappusen, johon olin sen kirjoittanut jostain muistiin. Heti perään näin saman tekstin mainoksessa eräässä lehdessä ja ajattelin, että on kai sitten parempi laittaa se tähän sivuunkin, kun se nyt joka puolelta esiin hyppii :) (Teksti näkynee hieman huonosti tuosta kuvasta, siinä siis lukee "You light up the world when your heart is on fire").

Recently, I've been art journaling more than making cards, for some reason at the moment I enjoy the freedom of making a page much more than the exactness of making a card (usually I think much more when I make a card and I cut papers etc very carefully - all that goes out of the window when I'm making an art journal page :D ). I haven't had a chance to blog all my pages yet but here's one I made yesterday. This page started with the yellow paint and the pink spray ink that were on the page, I had mopped them up on this page while making another. Then I just added some ink through a stencil, some washi tapes, some rubber stamping (a Dina Wakley heart, a Suzi Blu girl, a row of hearts by Wycinanka, a Dylusions border, Papertrey Ink alphabet), a sequin, etc. I stamped the girl on an old book page and let the words show through the colouring, I think it adds a nice layer to her. The journaling part was a funny coincidence: I had an old piece of paper on my desk with that quote on it, and right after seeing it I looked through a magazine and noticed an ad with the same quote on it! So I thought it might be best if I just used it as my journaling :) (In case you can't see it clearly, it says 'You light up the world when your heart is on fire').

Words

The Artistic Stamperin toukokuun haaste on 'words' ja tein siihen tämän art journal -sivun. Tähän meni taas vähän kaikkea, struktuuripastaa, akryylimaaleja, gessoa, spray inkejä, washiteippejä, leimoja (The Artistic Stamper, Zettiology), paljetteja jne. Tuo teksti on lainaus Englantilaisesta potilaasta.

The May challenge over at the Artistic Stamper blog is 'words' and I made this art journal page for it. Once again, I used a bit of everything to make this page: modeling paste, acrylic paints, gesso, spray inks, washi tapes, rubber stamps (The Artistic Stamper, Zettiology), sequins, etc. The journaling is a quote from Michael Ondaatje's 'The English Patient'.

Taas aukeama art journalistani. Ja taas kerran siihen tuli kerroksia kaikesta mahdollisesta, maalista Distress Stainiin, washiteipistä sabluunaan ja lyijykynään. Kaiken kruunaa lehdestä leikattu lause 'All Is Well'. Näin kai se on :)

Here's another spread from my art journal and once again there's a bit of everything there, acrylic paints, Distress Stains, washi tape, stencil, pencil and so on. And to top it off, a sentence from a mag, 'All Is Well'. I guess that's true, all is well :)

She started to live in colour

En ole aikaisemmin koskaan osallistunut Simon Says Stamp and Show -haasteeseen mutta nyt satuin huomaamaan tämänviikkoisen haasteen, joka oli 'colour' ja sen verran värit kutkuttivat, että päätin osallistua. Tein haasteeseen tämän art journal -sivun, johon meni taas vähän kaikkea: gessoa, akryylimaaleja, spray inkejä, vanhan kirjan sivuja, washiteippiä, leimoja (Zettiology, The Artistic Stamper, Prima Marketing), Inktense-kyniä jne. Varsinainen sekasoppa siis mutta ainakin väriä löytyy! :)

This is my first time taking part in Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. I happened to spot this week's challenge theme and was inspired by it so I made this art journal page. Once again, there's a bit of everything on this page: some gesso, acrylic paints, spray inks, some modeling paste, pages from an old book, some washi tapes, rubber stamps (by Zettiology, The Artistic Stamper, Prima Marketing), some Derwent Inktense pencil etc. You name it, it's there, basically, but at least the page has colours! ;)

Do not beige

Taas art journalia ja taas keltaista - kun sitä jumittuu johonkin, niin sitä sitten jumittuu! :D Tähän meni akryylimaaleja, musteita, leimoja, washiteippiä ja outoa kieltä (olen hyvinkin varma, että sanaa beige voi  käyttää myös verbinä...), joka kylläkin minulle sanoo paljon.

Another art journal page and yet again some yellow - I think I'm well and truly stuck! :D This page ate some acrylic paints, some inks, stamps, some washi tape and odd wording (I'm pretty confident you can use the word 'beige' as a verb... ha ha!). Odd wording or not, it speaks to me. It really does.

Kun nyt kerran päästiin vauhtiin, niin laitetaanpa lisää art journal -sivuja näytille. Tässäkin sivussa on "yllättäen" keltaista, tuntuu etten saa tarpeeksi keltaista vaikka uisin siinä, niin kovasti pelittää se väri nyt :) Olen jotenkin tykästynyt myös ihan tavalliseen lyijykynään, sen jälki näyttää kauniilta. Mutta siis kaikkinensa tässä on maaleja, suihkeita, sabluunoita, washiteippiä, lehdestä saksittua kuvaa ja sitä lyijykynää jne. Ja huonosti leimattu päivämäärä mutta antaa olla :)

Another art journal page to show you (I'm on a roll here! ;) ). I've used yellow on this page, too, for some reason I'm really loving yellow now, can't get enough of it. And another thing I'm liking at the moment is a basic pencil, love the look it gives. But all in all, this page has some acrylic paint, some spray inks, stencils, some washi tape, a magazine cut out, etc. And a badly stamped date but it can be, I won't try to make it look better.

Hidden

Taas vaihteeksi art journalia. Ja taas vaihteeksi SODAliciouksen haaste :) Tällä kertaa aiheena on 'hidden' ja alla näkemykseni siitä. Tein sivun vaakatasoon A5-kokoiseen journaliin ja käytin siihen aika lailla kaikkea: gessoa, harsokangasta, Distress Inkiä, akryylimaaleja, sabluunoita (Crafter's Workshop), washiteippiä, erinäisiä leimoja (mm. Zettiology, Wycinanka, The Artistic Stamper), Dylusions ink sprayta jne. Eli väkerretty on :)

Here's another art journal page, for another SODAlicious challenge :) The theme is 'hidden' and this is my take on it. The journal I used is A5 in size and the page is landscape in orientation. There's a bit of everything on this page: gesso, cheese cloth, Distress Ink, acrylic paints, stencils (The Crafter's Workshop), washi tape, rubber stamps (Zettiology, Wycinanka, The Artistic Stamper among others), Dylusions ink spray, etc. Hope you like it! :)

Hänelle - For her

Tein pari naiselle sopivaa korttia Hero Artsin huhtikuun haasteen innoittamana. Pari siksi, että en osannut päättää, kumpi muste taustalle sopii paremmin: vaalea (Hero Artsin Shadow Ink väriltään Soft Blossom) vai tummempi (HA Shadow Ink Bubble Gum). Käyttämäni taustaleimasin on uusi ihastukseni, Hero Artsin Aged Background Block - ihana, ihana taustaleima :) Tuo korsi on niinikään Hero Artsia, Silhouette Spray nimeltään. Tekstileima on Stempelkellerin (kokonaisuudessaan tekstileimassa lukee "Onnea sinulle" mutta leimasin siitä vain tuon loppuosan). Lisänä hieman washiteippiä, vellum-perhonen, paljetteja ja muutama Glossy Accents -täplä.

I made a couple of cards 'for her', inspired by the Hero Arts April challenge. I made two because I couldn't decide which colour I liked best for the background: the lighter one (Hero Arts Shadow Ink Soft Blossom) or the darker one (HA Shadow Ink Bubble Gum). The background stamp I used is my new favourite, it's 'Aged Background Block' by Hero Arts - love! The 'Silhouette Spray' stamp is also by Hero Arts. The sentiments says 'For you'. As embellies there are some washi tape, a butterfly punched out of vellum, some sequins and few dots of Glossy Accents.
