Turtles of Grayskull Megator Krang

This Megator Krang was preordered from Walmart last April that arrived in September- an exclusive I felt lucky to get with that retailer's spotty track record with such items. That said, I've mostly had good luck in that department. This is a beefy MOTU Origins figure made larger yet with its Krang cockpit added to the midsection. He came with extra gripping hands, but who wouldn't display this figure with the weapon accessories ported into the wrists? The matte, rust-brown color of the morning star flail chain was a thoughtful touch, so great...

Suddenly I have two Krangs in my collection, my other the Loyal Subjects BST AXN Krang...

Also a Turtles of Grayskull figure, 2-Bopsteady has the same chained flail weapon as Megator Krang...

And finally, Megator Krang and 2-Bopsteady with Sla'ker and Mouse-Jaw (below). And I have many more Turtles of Grayskull figures I've been collecting since they started dropping last year. Though I was a big fan of the Masters of the Universe Origins line, I was surprised how much I got into Turtles of Grayskull. A MOTU Origins mashup with Thundercats is purportedly in the works, and I'm looking forward to seeing that!

TMNT x Transformers Party Wallop, Loyal Subjects BST AXN XL Krang Android Body

There aren't a great deal of posts regarding Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on this blog, a property that came into the public consciousness at large in the latter part of the '80s when I had lost interest of such things, moving onto my teen years. That said, these to recent pickups were so toyetic and such fun toys that I decided to post them together- I certainly would have done that as a kid!

I have zero context for the TMNT character Krang, but you don'r really need any with a toy this fun- I got mine on sale for $29.99 online. Regardless of my unfamiliarity, I'd admired this figure from afar for awhile now. He had somewhat limited articulation, but I was able to pose him a bit. In addition to his deluxe 8.5" size, all the attachment accessories really make for a great package. This is my first BST AXN Series figure, and I really like the overall finish of the toy and its clean paint apps.

The figure flips open at the midsection where Krang drives the android body from his cockpit. The tentacles on the steering controls are permanently attached inside, which somewhat ruins the illusion, but they did include extra hinged tentacles for Krang outside the android body.

There are numerous options for display with all the weapon extensions for the figure's wrist ports:

And finally, the Loyal Subject BST ANX Krang Android with my new Marvel Legends Hulkbuster, MOTU Origins Roboto and MOTU Masterverse Revelation Roboto

Although not a subject of childhood nostalgia, I went through a Transformers period here on the Super-DuperToyBox- they are sentient robots that transform into vehicles, what's not to love?  I grabbed Party Wallop at a great discount online for $34.95 after holding out for awhile.

The face of the alt mode can be used as a shield or worn on the chest in robot mode,
the nose of which is a pizza on the flip side- how much fun is that?!

All of the weapons and interchangeable foreheads can be stowed on the figure:

By switching the head and weapon accessories, and a turn of the belt buckle for the corresponding initial, all four of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are represented! The all-in-one aspect of this toy really makes it fun!

Party Wallop's alt mode, the Party Wagon, is a thing of beauty, capturing all the important details in a satisfying, tight transformation that holds all the extra accessories...

And finally, Party Wallop busts Krang in Raphael mode! These are two fantastic toys any TMNT fan would love- I am having a ball posing them and admiring them on my shelf- Recommended!
