Hi friends!
Hope you are doing well :)

We have a gorgeous, fun & bright mood board for you.
There are generous prizes on offer, so please do join the challenge.
All the details about the Challenge can be found on the Lindy's Gang Blog.

Lindy's Gang has gorgeous sprays, pigment powders, squirts & embossing powders, they ship worldwide, to check out their store, please click HERE
Also, to get product updates & lots of inspiration, we have a vibrant Lindy's Creative Gang Facebook Group.

Color Guidelines: Bright Orange - Lime - Aqua

To enter the Color Challenge you MUST use at least 2 colors from the monthly color palette and as always you may also use black, white, neutrals or metallic colors as well! We are finding that there are so many amazing artists who are joining our challenge, that we can’t keep up with choosing winners! So, we’ll still have 5 winners of $50 gift certificates to Lindy’s, (sometimes more if we get tons of participants), and of those, 3 projects will be picked by Lindy’s for style, linking, etc, (the details are below) and 2 will be randomly drawn. Hopefully more people are encouraged to enter and we’ll get even more gorgeous projects! We just love sharing the Lindy love & thought this would be a great way to do it without anyone feeling intimidated.

For the challenge inspiration, I've created A Mixed Media Art Journal Spread

Lindy's Products Used:
Starburst Squirts- Loonie Toonie Teal

Here are some photos of the Art Journal Spread:

Post 205: CAS Card: Geometry (Hearts)

Hi Friends :)

I'd like to share a Clean and Simple Masculine Card. I have die cut a background die cut (arrows) to create a smaller rectangle and then matted it with a white stitched rectangle. Added back a few blue pieces into the arrow die cut for added interest. Then used a couple of negatives from the arrow die to create the space for the sentiment. These were adhered together to create a parallelogram shape on the card. And 2 hearts were stamped on them. Added a couple of enamel dots to finish off the card.

List of Supplies:

Paper Smooches Die- Retro Arrow
Paper Smooches Stamp-We Adore You
Gina Marie Designs Stitched Rectangle Die
Iris White and Black Cardstock 250 gsm
Tombow Mono Multi Glue
Enamel Dots
Snippets of Blue Cardstock
Ranger's Archival Ink- Jet Black

Post 154: Spring Themed Hello Card

Hi friends :)

Last night I was making a card and tried out new techniques and supplies for it :) It is the first time I have made something like this and I like the added interest all the details provide. I think I will do it again. This is a A2 size landscape style card. This card is spring inspired and has two sentiments. One is stamped and reads "Flowers can't solve all problems but its a great place to start." and the second is a die cut "Hello".

Synopsis of the Process:

1. Stamped the sentiment, flowers and leaves onto the card panel using a new Concord and 9th stamp (mixed and matched different ink colors). Then added details like stripes and dots to some of the flowers by doing the "stamp kissing" technique. Used the leaves from the Winnie and Walter- A tree for all seasons stamp set for the stamp kissing technique. Then added white dots with a white gel pen and white highlights and shading with a color pencil.

2. Then this card panel was die cut with nesting x stitched rectangle dies. Then I die cut the word hello from the smallest rectangle panel using a sizzix die and saved all the small negatives. Now the biggest rectangle was adhered to an A2 card base with liquid glue then the second smaller rectangle was mounted on top with foam tape and then the word hello along with the negatives were inserted back into the recess and stuck down below. So I was playing with different depths. Some areas on the card design are lifted and some are pushed down. Small pieces of foam tape were adhered to the lil flaps over hanging so they got strength.

3. In the end, few enamel dots and a butterfly sequin was added to complete the spring inspired card.

List of Supplies:

1. Concord and 9th Stamp- You're my Person
2. Winnie & Walter Stamp- A tree for all seasons
2. Gina Marie Designs X stitched nesting rectangles die set
3. Sizzix Friendship Words: Script Die Set
4. Kraft cardstock- 250 gsm

11. Versafine Onyx Black Mini Inkpad
12. Distress Oxide Inkpad-Mermaid Lagoon

Post 145: Card (Good Times with Music)

Hi friends :)

Thanks a bunch for visiting me. I'd like to share a music themed card today.

Synopsis of the Process:

Stamped the juke box, music notes and 10 cents in archival ink on the water color panel.  Then created the background on this by doing some water coloring with rainbow colors using zig markers, distress inks and an aqua brush. Then lightly water colored the juke box. This panel was die cut with a wonky stitched rectangle die. The edges of the die cut were then water colored in light blue and this panel was adhered to a grey card base. The sentiment was heat embossed in white and cut into a banner shape and adhered to the top. In the end, some enamel dots and clear sequins were added.

List of Supplies:

1. Paper Smooches Perpetual Bliss Stamp Set
2. Canson Watercolor paper
3. Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
4. Aqua Brush
5. Enamel Dots
6. Clear Sequins
7. Ranger's heat tool
8. Homemade emboss buddy
9. Zing Opaque White Embossing Powder
10. Grey Cardstock 250 gsm
11. Ranger's Archival Inkpad- Jet Black
12. Versamark mini inkpad
13. Glossy Accents
14. Tombow Mono Multi Glue
15. Stamplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Die
