Post 646: Pair of Ombre Heart Tags (Fantasy Dies, Russia)

Hi folks !
How are you? :)

I've shared a Pair of Ombre Heart Tags on the Fantasy Blog today. I've used Fantasy's beautiful dies. To check out my post, please click HERE. To check out Fantasy's awesome online store, which has superb dies, chipboards and tons of art & craft materials, please click HERE. This is a Russian company & they ship worldwide.

I wanted to create a color gradient, ombre look, so, I did water colouring using Lindy's Gang Magical Shakers. To give the beautiful heart shaped die cuts shine and dimension, they were heat embossed using white embossing powder by Lindy's Gang. The encouraging sentiments were stamped using clear stamps by Stamplorations.

Thanks a lot for your precious time :)

Post 306: Love Themed Mixed Media Tag

Hi friends !

I'd like to share a Love Themed Mixed Media Tag. This was part of my DT work for Bob n Betty. All the details can be found here. For this tag, I did watercoloring in the background using zig markers. Background stamping was done using the chequered mini finnabair stamp & a Scrapberry love themed stamp. For added interest, background stenciling was done using the Tim Holtz dot fade stencil. The heart was die cut from faux leather and the title is from the Bob n Betty, no one but you paper pack. To bring out the texture in the chipboard and leather, I rubbed on some red inka gold and it gave a wonderful shine as well. Gauze was added under the heart, some splatter was created with ink, a braid was made from faux leather and tied to the tag. The edges were darkened with black soot distress ink and a border was created with white acrylic paint. In the end, a few red sequins were added for shine.

Here is a photo of the tag:

Post 242: Cute Card (Adorable Elephants)

Hi friends :)

Today, I'd like to share a card I made for a Guest Design Post, all the details can be found here

This is an A2 sized top folding card. For this cute card, I created a customized pink colored modeling paste by mixing some Dusty Attic Acrylic Paint with Prima’s Modelling Paste and then masked off a heart shape using the negative of a heart die cut. Then applied the paste through the honey comb stencil. Colored in the lines between the design with a black alcohol marker and created some faux stitching around the pink dimensional heart with a white gel pen. I water colored the elephant images with zig markers.

Post 210: CAS Card- Latte Love

Hi friends :)

Today, I spent a few hours cardmaking and it was so much fun! I didn't even get enough sleep after watching movies till very late but as soon as I woke up I felt the need to do some water coloring. It is so so much fun! I'm only a novice but I enjoy it tremendously :)

I'd like to share a Clean and Simple Card. This is a side folding 5 by 7 card. This is a summer themed project depicted by the warm yellow and orange colors I used around the coffee mug.
The procedure was simple enough. The panel is a wonky stitched rectangle die cut of watercolor paper. Stamped the images on it. Then did watercoloring and then adhered the clustered heart die cut (added 3 watercolored hearts in the negative space for added interest.) to the panel. Finally, adhered the card panel to the card base. The sentiment reads, "Sending a whole latte love your way mom"

List of Supplies:

Stamplorations Stamp- Latte Love (Shery Russ Designs)
Cutplorations Die- Clustered Hearts
Cutplorations Die- Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Die
Lawn Fawn Stamp- Best Pun Ever (sentiment-mom)
Canson Watercolor Paper
Iris White Cardstock 250 gsm
Tombow Mono Multi Glue
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
Aqua Brush
Snippets of red cardstock
Versafine Onyx Black Mini Inkpad

Hi Friends :)

How are you doing ? I hope your week is looking eventful.

Today, I'd like to share a big sized floral card I made, it is 5 by 7 inches. All the images are by Altenew, I mixed and matched various stamp sets I had and stamped them on watercolor paper and water colored them with zig markers and an aqua brush. Then fussy cut them and popped them onto the card panel, some with foam tape to give a raised look. Post 120: Masculine Birthday Card

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a masuline themed birthday card today.

This is a top folding A2 size card. I added the panel in a lopsided tilted way to add interest, wanted it to look like office documents hence, added the 3 paper clips at the top. There are 3 colors here besides the neutrals- red, grey and blue. I distressed the edges of the panel to give it a hand torn look and added some stitch lines with a fine point black sharpie. The pattern papers used here are from The Gentleman collection by Papericious. I've used a red button to accent the banner. The sentiment is from Verve stamps and is die cut with a Gina Marie Designs stitched rectangle die. The die cut sentiment is from the Sizzix Tim Holtz Celebration Script words die set, I've colored it partially with black soot distress ink.

List of Supplies:

1. The Gentleman Paper Pack by Papericious
2. Verve stamps- Lucky Day Digi stamp
3. Gina Marie Designs Stitched Rectangles Die Set
4. Sizzix Tim Holtz Celebration Script words die set

8. Iris Cardstock 250 gsm
9. Black Sharpie Fine Point
10. Ranger's blending tool and foam
11. Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink Pad
