The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #104 - T is for Tissue

Poor Edna, she looks like she's having a tough weekend beneath her slanket!

The Sisterhood are playing with 'TISSUE' for this challenge... Which was proving kinda tricky for me until I rummaged through my stash and BINGO: Pink fluffy tissue!

Once I'd found the tissue I was off, and decided to get stamping and stenciling with some new goodies. I just love this little cutie from the brilliantly talented Magda Polakow.
I put the stamp in my Mysti and then coloured and stamped with a variety of paints. I used a page from an old book that I had found in the school library. Then I stamped, coloured and fussy cut her minus her hair; finally marrying the two parts together on the card. The challenge says 'tissue', but I have to say my use of the stuff I found in my stash was minimal. I wet a paintbrush and drew a line across the tissue, before teasing it apart to preserve all the lovely fibres.

Having made a card, I'd got the bit well and truly between my teeth and produced a fun, little gift box using some stamps from VLVS.

Finally, we're saying 'goodbye' and 'hello' over at SoSS. Our beloved Sister Lynne has made the difficult decision to step down to give her time to further develop her considerable talents as an artist. Gonna miss you, crazy lady!

Our 'hello' takes the form of a very warm welcome to Toni of Frankie Helps Craft, who will be joining us in March.
