The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - R is for Resist

Well, they say that all good things come to an end and, sadly, this is true of my time as a guest member of the rather fabulous Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers. This is my final post as a Sistah.
I've loved hanging-out with Edna and the girls and just want to say a very big 'thank you' to them for having me along for the ride over the last three month.

Challenge #64 is one you'll find hard to resist as it is use RESIST Technique!

I had so much fun making this card and used a whole bunch of different stamp sets to make it happen. Two Art Impressions stamps (main image and sentiment), MFT coffee beans and cups and a super cute Jane's Doodles coffee-to-go cup as an embellishment. I created the background by embossing in white and then colouring with Distress Ink.

So, please come and join the Sisterhood for Challenge #64... And I'll send 'Minions of Mwahs' to the Sistahs and say 'thank you for having me, it's been a blast!'

Naughty or Nice Challenge #29 Reminder

Having been poorly at the beginning of the month it's good to be back and ready to share a card for the current challenge over at Naughty or Nice!

This month it's one of my favourite challenge themes:

Yes, we all love a little bit of Anything Goes!

My card looks very pretty IRL but hasn't photographed well. I used Antique Rose by Hero Arts and masked the images to enable me to have multiple numbers of blooms. Then I added a simple sentiment from Mama Elephant called Labeled Messages. The die-cut was given to me by a lovely blogging buddy so I'm not sure of the product details.

If you like to join the Troublemakers for this challenge please head on over to our blog

Finally, want to see a card made by my mom? Of course you do, and here it is!

She is one seriously talented lady.

Creative With Stamps - Mid-month Inspiration: Ink Splatters

I didn't manage to join in with the launch of the July theme over at Creative with Stamps as I was poorly. This card is for the mid-month inspiration post but if you'd like to catch the launch post and the link-up you can go here.

The theme for Challenge #4 is Ink Splatters and my teamies have once again created some beautiful cards to kick-start your creativity.

My offering showcases a 'new-to-me' stamp from Hero Arts and my current favourite sentiment set from Mama Elephant called Labeled Messages. I stamped in Stazon onto watercolour paper and then coloured with watercolours. I finished by using pencils crayons and white gel pen.

So, please come and play along with us at Creative with Stamps. There are some beautiful DT cards to see and the Linky gallery is filling-up with fabulous makes plus there are prizes...

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - B is for Booze

Welcome back for another installment of my adventures with the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! This is actually my penultimate outing as a Sistah and I have to say I've loved being one of the gals.

Just what could be in Edna's cup? I'm guessing it isn't coffee as the theme for Challenge #63 is B is for Booze!

Once again, I've dipped-into my box of Art Impressions stamps and would like you to meet 'Rhonda with Hat'! Isn't she a classy lady?

If you'd like to see the Sistahs Boozy creations just head on over and take a look...

June Card Chain Challenge

Time for another CCC reveal!

Here's the card I sent to my June recipient, Jeanne in Minnesota.

You may find it hard to believe but I started-out using Deborah's sketch for this month

and then started flipping, reversing and doubling and... well, you get the idea. At least I stuck pretty close to the colours and her July theme of Friendship.

I was lucky to have Gail in Norway as my sender this month. If you want to see Gail's card and the rest of the reveal just take a gander over here...
