Doing a quick 'happy dance'!

Morning crafters!

It's a Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK and I'm delighted to say that I have the WHOLE WEEKEND OFF!!!! And cue a quick happy dance.......
Before I share my card details can I just ask has anyone else lost all their Followers? The VIP lounge has vanished and I'm feeling sooooooooo lonely without all your lovely faces to keep me company! Is this Mr Blogger acting up again, or is this because I've disabled Cookies????

I'm not totally happy with this card as something is missing, but I'm sharing because I just love little Dancing Mae from Some Odd Girl. I've noticed that she is one of the images that have made it into cling and I really hope that someone in the UK starts selling these cuties asap!
The flower background on the yellow is stamped with a gorgeous Hero Arts cling stamp in Scattered Straw Distress ink. I was pleased how well the paper took the ink. The pretty papers are from the 6x6 pad Springtime by Echo Park: yummy!
I'm hoping to get some crafting time in this weekend, and I'm also looking forward to some cuddles from my little gorgeous niece.

Hope your weekend is crafty and full of fun!!!

Little angel!

Don't you just love this sweet little angel from over at A Day for Daisies?
I've had her printed and ready to go for a few weeks, but haven't been able to put in much crafting time due to my new work commitments.
Sorry this is such a short post but I need to go and do some housework (boo hiss)... not much of that happening recently either it has to be admitted!
I'm linking up with two challenges today: Anything Goes week at A Spoonful of Sugar for Challenge #152 and Spots or Stripes at Mamidoodles.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend, happy crafting everyone!

Hellooooooooooooooo!

Yooohoooo, here I am.... back again with my Blogland buddies! Work continues to be a challenge and is taking far too much of my time right now. My working week is supposed to be 27 hours but last week I put in about 42 hours. And I don't even get overtime!!!

Sorry, I'll quit moaning and share a card that I managed to complete on Friday, but was unable to post due to Mr Blogger being under the weather that day.

This card is for my friend Chris. She is a talented gardener, so I riffled through my stash for sweet Mollie Gardening from the Secret Crafter. The papers are from My Mind's Eye, as is the ribbon. I coloured with Promarkers and added some pretty gems for added interest.

Mmmmm, now that's interesting as I've just discovered that I can only add links in 'Edit Html'. Is anyone else having trouble with any functions following Friday's Blogger problems???? Advice most welcome please gang!

Well have a good week everyone, hopefully I'll be able to get some crafting done at some point AND manage to catch up with all your fabulous creativity that I've been missing.

Big hugs!!!!

May Card Chain Challenge!

Here I am again... sorry that I'm posting so infrequently but life is busy, busy busy right now! I started as the new manager at an additional library yesterday. I'm not trying for library world domination or anything, we are just very short of librarians here in Birmingham. Little wonder that I am so tired.
Without further ado, here is my card for today. Not what I had planned, but the idea popped into my head and I decided to run with it!

This is my submission for the Card Chain Challenge, which has a new home over at the fabulous Lily Pad Cards. The Card Chain Challenge was originally the brain child of Deborah Nolan. For anyone not in the know: Deborah has joined forces with Vicky P to create Lily Pad Cards .

The May challenge themes are Friendship, Mother's day or Fantasy. I went with Friendship and decided to create a card to look like a crazy Polaroid photo (remember those???) of two friends just messing around and having a girly giggle! I also went with the challenge colours... sort of!

The CCC rules are a little different over at Lily Pad, but the concept remains the same in that you still send and receive a card as part of the chain. Why not hop over and take a look... you won't be disappointed as this is a great new blog!

I'm also linking up with the current ABC Challenge as it's T is for Two images.

Happy Crafting everyone!
