Happy Birthday, Jason!

We celebrated Jason's 32nd birthday with lunch at Noodles Express, golfing at Linda Vista (stroller incident), dinner at Red Robin with the cousins, and Star Trek in 3D. Love this man so much!

August 2012

August was full of “lasts” as we wrapped up the summer in Montana. We had a perfect two weeks with beautiful sunshiney days and gorgeous summer nights. It was sad to see it go by so fast, but we were also excited to get back to Carbondale to start the last leg of our journey in law school. Here are a few August highlights:

We went to the last band concert at Bonner. The kids played so cute together and have become best buds.

This picture isn’t the greatest, but we walked to Dairy Queen after the concert and the kids were talking so cute together and all holding hands. It’s these moments that I wish I could relive. Time seems to fly by so fast and before I know it, they will be grown up and the only thing I will have left are these pictures and my memories. I want to savor every moment.

Mckenna had swim lessons at the Y again and did awesome! She is fearless when it comes to water and loved every minute of it. This was her last day of swim lessons with her teacher, Sara.

Grandma found this princess chair at a garage sale and it was the source of many fights. Mckenna loved to read her princess books here.

The first weekend in August we drove up to Canada to visit Grandma. We drove through the park and as always, it was absolutely beautiful.

We got to Grandma Reeva’s house and the girls thought it was the neatest thing that Grandma had a swing in her house! We love visiting Grandma Reeva!DSC_0199DSC_0202

We spent the morning in Cardston, saw Bart and the cousins, had lunch and then headed back home. Then we came to this line … 2 hours to get across the border! It was a pretty hot day so we were in and out of the air-conditioned car, went on lots of walks and met some very nice Canadians, eh! Smile

Kelsey flew in from Michigan and we all went to the Western Montana Fair.  Yeehaw!

Kerri and Chris drove up the next day. I’m so glad I got to see them before we left! We all went to the rodeo that night and ate lots of deep fried goodness.

Our last night in Missoula we went to the Summer concert at Caras Park. Ahhh, goodbye to summer and to the last best place. We will miss you Missoula!

After a 26 hour drive we made it home to our best neighbor Dylan. It felt so good to get back! Jason started school the next week and it’s been a whirlwind ever since.

July 2012

I loved this July. I dream for days like these during the long winter months. We made so many great memories filled with band concerts at the park, Flathead Lake, lots of trips to Salmon, Downtown “Out to Lunch”, picnics at the park, swim lessons, the “M” and even a garage sale. How I hated to see these days go!
