Quick post today as I've got sticky toffee pudding just out of the oven and I need to finish the toffee part.
The only Christmas-specific stamp set I bought this year is Santa Stache (which I need to use more) and I miss having several seasonal sets to choose from. So I dusted off Festive Favorites (which was recently on the SU! Clearance Rack for a hot second) and made a snowflake card. I used this week's Colour Me...! challenge:
And the Mojo Monday sketch:
And that's that. Have a great day, peeps.
Supplies, all SU!
Stamps: Festive Flurry, Merry Everything
Ink: Versamark, Night of Navy
Paper: Brushed Silver, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Accessories: Silver EP, Festive Flurry Framelits, Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Lucky Stars EF

Nachos: Very Merry Everything
Happy Tuesday morning, Nacho fans! It's time for another great sketch from Nacho Average Challenges, so check out this beauty:
I had quite a few ideas for this one, but it's definitely time to buckle down and make some Christmas cards! So here's my slightly nontraditional card:
I loved last year's winter DSP that had lots of Bermuda Bay in it and thought I could make that work with this year's All Is Calm DSP. I tilted the DSP panel just for funsies, and I really wanted Bermuda Bay Candy Dots to put on the bottom but I'm out of that color and no matter how often I put on mood music and turn down the lights in my craft room, my remaining Candy Dots flatly refuse to get together and make new little baby Candy Dots for me. So I used white Candy Dots instead and added a teensy border of torn Bermuda Bay cardstock, which turned out better than I'd anticipated it would. Yay.
So you know what's next: it's your turn! Visit the Nacho blog for more eye candy and then make your own project for us to ooh and ahh over. Cheers, peeps!

Holding On to Fall, Y'all
I've started hearing Christmas music on the radio and Santa is appearing in commercials all over TV, but I am still holding on to my fall leaves and colors for at least one more week. There is more to fall than pumpkin spice lattes so I'm not gonna let Christmas encroach on Thanksgiving.
So more leaves! And more For All Things because I love that stamp set. I used the sketch from As You See It:
And the colors are a slightly tweaked version of the challenge at ColourQ:
I used Cajun Craze and Coastal Cabana instead of Dusty Durango and Cool Caribbean just to keep everything SU-current. But they're very similar colors anyway.
Time for me to get moving for the day, got a busy day ahead. Cheers, peeps!

Stamps: For All Things, Merry Everything

Good to the Last Bite
I have a case of the Mondays. Went running this morning, and then to the gym later on, and now I'm just pooped. But I finally got a card made for today.
Yay for Halloween! And still loving that Halloween-themed My Paper Pumpkin kit from last month. Well, the stamps anyway; I *still* haven't broken out the burlap treat bags. But the stamps are pretty dang cute on their own. The main image stamp is from the holiday catalog's Merry Everything.
I used the latest sketch from As You See It:
And doing the Paper Players' theme challenge was a no-brainer:
You know what I think will be a good pick-me-up about now? That iced pumpkin coffee cake...just one piece left, and I think it's got my name on it : )
Cheers, peeps!

Grateful for You
Y'all. For reals. All my wishing and hoping for cooler weather has been WORKING. And since cooler weather means I can start drinking hot tea again, I'm going to keep up the cool weather rain dance for a while. And here's another fall card!
I love the Color Me Autumn DSP. For this card, I used both sides of a single sheet; I cut the piece the size I wanted for the card front, cut off a one-inch piece on the side and flipped it over and voila! Instant background. I used last week's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:
I added the piece of Cajun Craze underneath the tag to help "ground" it; without that bit, the tag kind of felt a little lost on the card front.
That's it for me today, I hope your manic Monday is going well!

Ink: Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze
Paper: Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Color Me Autumn DSP
Accessories: Note Tag punch, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Dimensionals, Soft Suede taffeta (retired, but it was the only stuff I had that coordinated)

Another Swap Card
Surprise: no fall card today. Instead I've got a Christmas card I made for a swap (even though it's *way* too early to think about Christmas!)
New stuff alert! The stamp is from Merry Everything and coordinates with the new note tag punch. And the patterned paper is new too, it's from the Trim the Tree DSP stack.
Usually I make cards all the same for a swap, but this time I just used a mix of the patterned paper and coordinating colors so all the card fronts are a little bit different:
Keeps it interesting, anyway.
Cheers, peeps!
