Eccentric British Officer

Whilst doing my Home Guard Bits I've been messing about with a Warlord BA plastic figure.
I slightly repositioned the body & used a metal head wearing Tam O' Shanter hat.
I armed him with an old Basket hilt sword that I had in the Bits Box & another of the fantastic shotguns from James.
I've left the webbing ammo pouches, so that he can carry more cartrides & the etrenchig tool as you can never a have too many close combat weapons!
Anyway here's the piccies.
I've supposedly painted him as the 52nd Lowland Infantry Div.

Don't what Im going to do with him now though,
as I already have enough officers for my SAS & I'm not going to do another British Army.

Shotgun armed officer

I'v finished painting the Officer with the shotgun.
I've gone for a more WW1 colour uniform on him.
The jacket is Vallejo Panzer Aces Russian Uniform as its a greener Khaki than British Uniform & the Trousers are Vallejo Khaki Grey

Eventually I will do another couple of figures to go with him,
But next it's on to the TANKS.

Home Guard with shotguns

Here's the finished guardsmen with shotguns & a couple of extra figures, squad leader (forgot to paint the stripes though!!!!!) a molotov armed figure & a couple of BAR's

Shotgun armed troops at the front

Here's the next figure thet I've converted, an officer with an over and under shotgun that i've cut up to make it broken,
I also cut the arm off at the shoulder & removed the hand adding a plastic warlord hand

Home Guard with shotguns WIP

Leaving the saga of the cat alone for a while, I decided to get on with adding shotguns to some Foundry figures, by chopping of the rifles & adding abit of greenstuff where needed.
I'm happy with these so here's the first three:

Just need to do another 3 or 4 & an Officer.
The shotguns are from James (Lord of Jerwood)
over on LAF made for him by Ian Mountian.
Here's the link for anyone wanting any:
