3 Officers of The Black Sun: Projekt Nekromant

I got a couple of figures from Lucid Eye & used the Heinrich Gross from K47, that I've had since the first edition! I’m glad I don't have to pay the new hiked up prices!!

The two figures from Lucid Eye have had hand swaps from the North Star Plastic Frostgrave Wizards, the open hands & the wizards staff (maybe should've used a fancy spear for the Spear of Destiny)

I'm Hoping to use these in the upcoming Pulp Alley Uk Games Day in February 2026, the theme being Modern Magic (1920 to now) 

K47 WAR DOG SQUAD

I recently painted a War Dog Squad & Handlers for my ever expanding K47 force. 

These are genetically enhanced Bull Terriers, that if the Handlers are dead will attack the nearest unit friend or foe!

I originally bought 2 packs, in which you get 3 dogs & 1 handler.
But on receipt of the packs from Warlord it became clear that the castings of the dogs were a bit rubbish & the wrong legs had been included in the blisters.
But after an email with some photos,
Warlord sent me replacements within a week &
I ended up being able to make a unit of 9 dogs 😄

The  Dogs Harness’ originally came with studs on the front chest piece,
 which I found a bit odd, I know it’s fantasy WW2,
 but the handlers weren’t in shell suits, so why would they have studded hrness’ 😂😂

K47 Automated Mobile Platform

Slapped some paint on an Automated Mobile Platform for my K47 Brits.

This has to be one of the most ridiculous models yet for K47, but I do love it. 

I have no idea how it would work 🧐

Hornet Finished

I recived a light box from Santa, 

so I thought it was about time I took some pictures of The painted Hornet. 

Just need to varnish it & its done.

I’ve added the smoke dischargers now, so I’m calling this done. 

I think if i don’t watch it I will just keep adding stuff to it. 

 

If you’re lucky I might have it painted by this time next year 😁

Heres the base for the Hornet

Ive kept it fairly simple with just loose rubble & of course a bit of wrinkley tin.

K47 Hornet Medium Walker Part 3

 

I've done a bit more to the Hornet.

Added some grab rails & a Tarpaulin.

I also added the bent pipe to the right fist.

 

 Next I will start work on the base.

K47 Hornet Medium Walker Part 2

              A bit more work on the Hornet, rivets & some bolts have been added to the armour skirts.  

The bolt heads are a bit on the big size, 

but this was the only hex rod that I could get from the local model shop. 

   

I've also added plates to the Pauldrons & put some roughed up Greenstuff on the edge to (hopefully) simulate welds. 

 

 

 

K47 Hornet Medium Walker

I’ve started building a Hornet for my Konflikt 47 Brits.
But I’m not keen on how the armoured plate is configured at the rear (as can be seen on the pictures above from the Warlord Games site), so I have altered it and added more of them from a square flat plastic base, I still have a few rivet/bolt heads to add.

 

 I will also add some front & rear plates to the shoulder Pauldrons,

This will make it look like there is more protection to the joints. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Weird War 2 Zombies

 

Varnished some Zombies today from East Riding Miniatures, sculpted by the late Jim Bowen

& took a rather poor picture (sorry)

 

 

So I thought that I would share it.



Rift Grenadiers Finished

Finished painting the Rift Grenadiers, painted the same as standard British Infantry.

The lenses on the resperators have been painted red to represent IR lenses

Bolt Action/K47 Artillery Observer

Been working on a Artillery observer for my Bolt Action/K47 army.

 

 

I decided to base him hiding behind a wall made from 2mm plastic strips,

using the same techniques that I have used before

 

 

The wall was painted using a base coat of Vallejo Hull Red,

 highlighted with various red browns & orange browns.

Followed by a wash of beige & re-highlighted

 

Some bricks have also been washed with Army painter strong tone to add variation to the bricks

 

 



6pdr Anti Tank Gun

I've been painting up a 6pdr AT Gun for my Konfikt 47 force.

I found this in the lead pile (I had completely forgotten that I had it!!)

I think it could be from Battle Honors Miniatures but I'm not sure, 

as I bought it second hand & the Battle Honors website doesn't have very many pictures!

TURNS OUT IT'S FROM BLACK TREE DESIGN, IT DIDN'T EVEN CROSS MY MIND AS I DID NOT THINK THAT THEY MADE ONE (WHO KNEW!)
 

I have used the same method as previous posts for making & painting the wrinkly tin (using fizzy drink cans & a homemade press)

K47 Rift Grenadiers

Started making some Rift Grenadiers for Konflikt 47

LI have used Warlord Plastic Brits, Westwind Productions SotR British gas mask heads & Warlord/Wargames Factory Survivors Sa80’s. 

I have cut the helmets from the Westwind heads so that the helmets with scrim netting can be glued onto them. 

The Sa80’s have been trimmed down to represent EM2 assault rifles. 

Left to right are the SA80-A2, XL 60 and EM-2

I have used the commando rucksacks & added an extra ammo pouch to represent the case for the Tabby night scope.
