A few more Silver Bayonet Bad Guys & the First Figure for The Trading Company Unit

 

I have painted up The Harvestmen Agents pack from Northstar 

From the Canada Supplement these are a nice couple of figures.

one is an Assassin & the other an Agent

This is another of the Westwind Nosferatu, 

to go with the 2 that i painted previously.

And Finally My Gaffer for the Trading Company unit from The Canada supplement.

The figure is from Mr Hecht by Artizan Designs & found in The Grimm Prairie Tales Range.

I have tweaked him by changing his hat into a Top hat, altered the holster slightly & added a hammer & flint to the pistol, but otherwise he is unchanged.

More Figures for The Silver Bayonet

I Picked up some miniature for TSB at The Vapnartak show in York from Perry Miniatures, A British Light Infantry command pack (officers above), dismounted Dragoons & a Royal Navy command pack (still in progress ☹️),  as well some French. Annoyingly there wasn’t any Spanish Guerrillas on foot available. 

Any way here’s the rest of the painted pictures of the Light troops & all of the unit so far. The (95th Rifles officer isn't included, as to my eye he looks too small, so I wont be using him or any of the other Foundry 95th that I have) 

I also picked up some Nosferatu Vampires & Giant Wolves from Westwind Productions.

K47 Rift Grenadiers

Started making some Rift Grenadiers for Konflikt 47

LI have used Warlord Plastic Brits, Westwind Productions SotR British gas mask heads & Warlord/Wargames Factory Survivors Sa80’s. 

I have cut the helmets from the Westwind heads so that the helmets with scrim netting can be glued onto them. 

The Sa80’s have been trimmed down to represent EM2 assault rifles. 

Left to right are the SA80-A2, XL 60 and EM-2

I have used the commando rucksacks & added an extra ammo pouch to represent the case for the Tabby night scope. 

West wind Empire of the Dead figures

Well I've finally managed to finish these EOTD figure for Binman. 

They've taken way too long to do (Sorry Adam)

Here's the first lot with my favourite figure of the bunch, Captain Nemo.

I've just noticed that I haven't actually finished one of the figures 😱😱

 

The next lot has two of the Nadezhda Durova miniature, these two must be my least favourite of the bunch, they are terrible castings  & I don't like the modernised version of Victorian clothing (they wouldn't have bare midriffs!! 😡)

The figure on the end is a eureka miniature The I had & thought I would paint up & send as well

 

Empire of the Dead Victorian Fire Engine

Well, I've just finished the Empire of the Dead Fire Engine.

This is another commision for Adam.

First heres the pictures:

 

 

The base is home made, i got a ply-wood base

cut by a guy on eBay & 

sculpted the blocks from Milliput.

I was originally intending to make some decals

for the sign writing on the side of the wagon,

but that didn't go to plan!

So I ended up having to paint it on, I'm fairly happy with it,

but would have prefered it to be a decal.

IS ANYBODY STILL THERE?

Blimey I hadn't realised that it was May when I last posted!!

Well I've not really done much since then, Life seems to be getting in the way.

 

I had a fantastic time at the Grand Melee & managed to win best painted army, which was nice.

 

I've not painted much over the last few months apart from these Empire of the Dead Figures for Adam & a truck for my Home Guard which I will try to get a picture of.

 

 

Not the best picture as my 4yr old decided to break my lamp & I still haven't managed to replace it (I was probably due a new one as it was 20yrs old!!)

Fallschirmjager Mortar

Well I've had a very productive weekend.

First up is a West Wind Berlin or Bust Fallschirmjager Mortar that I bought at the turn of the century!! I started a few weeks ago but never really got anywhere with it.

This was bought to go with the foundry Fallschirmjager & size wise fits really well.

The Boxes & Sandbags are from The Assault Group (TAG)

 

 

I will add this to my Early War Foundry Fallschirmjager to be used in Bolt Action against the Home Guard.
