Is Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu about to be arrested by his own police? Maybe.

You can always tell a crook by who they pal around with.
Courtesy of CNN:

Israeli police said Tuesday there is "sufficient evidence" to indict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on criminal charges in two corruption cases.

According to a police statement published late Tuesday, authorities found evidence of "accepting bribes, fraud, and breach of trust."

In a televised statement, Netanyahu said that the allegations against him would be dismissed, repeating what has become his catchphrase, "There will be nothing because there is nothing."

In a statement given moments before police issued their official findings, he said: "I think about the good of the country not for personal reasons of the press, but only for the country, and nothing will stop me from doing this, not even the attacks against me, and believe me they're never ending.

"And, therefore, today isn't different from any other days which I've been through in past 20 years."

Well if he actually got arrested, THAT might be a little different.

Okay seriously, is there anybody close to Donald Trump and Sarah Palin who are NOT crooks?

Joe Arpaio, recent recipient of a presidential pardon, will run for the Senate.

Courtesy of the Washington Examiner:

Republican Joe Arpaio, a close ally of President Trump and former sheriff known for his provocative approach to combatting illegal immigration, is running for Senate in Arizona.

The 85-year-old Arpaio could shake up the late August Republican primary in a critical open-seat race to replace retiring Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz. Trump pardoned Arpaio last summer, sparing the former sheriff jail time after he was convicted of ignoring a federal court order in a racial-profiling case.

The polarizing yet iconic former Maricopa County sheriff, beloved by many conservatives for his hawkish immigration policies, presents an alternative to the unimpressive Kelli Ward and a potential obstacle to Rep. Martha McSally. She is expected to launch within days and is widely viewed as the Republicans’ strongest general election candidate.

In a telephone interview with the Washington Examiner, Arpaio shrugged off concerns about his age, dismissed Republican insiders’ anxiety that his poor reputation with nonwhite voters would put the seat in play for the Democrats in the midterm, and discussed plans to work with Trump on behalf of Arizona.

“I have a lot to offer. I’m a big supporter of President Trump,” Arpaio said. “I’m going to have to work hard; you don’t take anything for granted. But I would not being doing this if I thought that I could not win. I’m not here to get my name in the paper, I get that everyday, anyway.”

Renowned racist, convicted in a court of law, pardoned by an equally racist president, and now running to represent Arizona in the Senate.

Could only happen in Trump's America.

I actually hopes that he wins the nomination, and then loses spectacularly to his Democratic opponent.

THAT would be justice.

Presidential pardon or not Sheriff Arpaio's record will not be scrubbed clean.

Courtesy of Politico:

A federal judge has ruled that President Donald Trump's pardon of former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio ends his prosecution for criminal contempt of court, but does not wipe out the guilty verdict she returned or any other rulings in the case.

In her order Thursday, Phoenix-based U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton rejected arguments from Arpaio's lawyers and Justice Department prosecutors that the longtime Maricopa County sheriff was entitled to have all rulings in the case vacated, including the guilty verdict the judge delivered in July after a five-day trial.

“The power to pardon is an executive prerogative of mercy, not of judicial recordkeeping," Bolton wrote, quoting an appeals court ruling. "To vacate all rulings in this case would run afoul of this important distinction. The Court found Defendant guilty of criminal contempt. The President issued the pardon. Defendant accepted. The pardon undoubtedly spared Defendant from any punishment that might otherwise have been imposed. It did not, however, 'revise the historical facts' of this case."

Well good for his judge!

Arpaio is a racist POS and just because he has a fellow racist POS buddy in a high place does NOT mean he gets to pretend that he is not a criminal.

Seeing Arkansas town hall participants chanting "Lock him up" directed at Donald Trump is my new favorite thing of the day.

Courtesy of Occupy Democrats:

The irony of seeing voters yell for Trump’s arrest barely two months into his presidency is simply delicious. Trump campaign advisor Gen. Michael Flynn began the “LOCK HER UP” chant at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland last summer. Now it’s Michael Flynn who is desperately trying to avoid jail while voters scream for Trump’s imprisonment.

Life comes at you fast, as they say.

As the investigation into President Trump and his team’s potentially treasonous collusion with agents of the Russian Federation during the 2016 election gains steam, it’s looking likelier than ever that these Arkansas voters might soon get their wish.

How long have we been waiting to see the tables turn like this?

And the great thing is that unlike when they chanted this about Hillary, THIS time there are actual crimes for which Trump should and could face jail time.

Trump's buddy in Israel, Prime Minister Netanyahu, may be facing indictment on bribery charges.

Courtesy of The Independent:

Police are likely to recommend Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is indicted following an investigation into bribery allegations, national broadcaster Channel 2 has reported.

Multiple investigations into the leader were opened, but Case 1000 – which allegedly involves illegal gifts – was being treated as separate to the other ongoing investigations.

The TV channel reported that Case 1000 was to be closed with a recommendation to indict the Israeli leader in the next six weeks.

Mr Netanyahu was reportedly questioned under police caution three times as part of the inquiry. He is expected to be interviewed once more before the probe closes.

The leader is accused of accepting of tens of thousands of dollars in gifts – including suits and cigars – from wealthy businessmen. He has vigorously denied any wrongdoing.

Well now we know why Donald Trump gets along so well with the Israel Prime Minister.

Corrupt pieces of shit have so much in common with other corrupt pieces of shit.

It looks like Sarah Palin's boyfriend Joe Arpaio might be prosecuted for criminal contempt of court.

Courtesy of AZ Central:

A federal judge on Friday referred Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and three of his aides to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, requesting that they be prosecuted for criminal contempt of court.

The landmark decision comes after U.S. District Court Judge G. Murray Snow found that Arpaio intentionally violated various orders rooted in an 8-year-old racial-profiling case.

Could not happen to a more deserving POS.

Gee perhaps when he gets sent to the big house Sarah Palin can gift him with a pair of pink underwear just like the ones he once gave her.

Like I said, POS.

Pennsylvania appeals court rejects Bill Cosby's attempt to have his sex abuse case thrown out.

Courtesy of The Guardian:

A Pennsylvania appeals court has rejected Bill Cosby’s attempt to throw out his criminal case because of what he called a decade-old deal not to prosecute him.

The mid-level state superior court ruled Monday that the criminal sex assault case against Cosby can proceed, prompting the district attorney to press for a preliminary hearing date.

Cosby, 78, is facing trial over a 2004 encounter at his home with a then Temple University employee who says she was drugged and molested by the comedian. Cosby says they engaged in consensual sex acts.

Former prosecutor Bruce Castor has said he promised he would never prosecute Cosby and urged him to testify in the woman’s 2005 civil lawsuit. The release of that testimony last year led a new prosecutor to arrest him.

Now that I am finally over the shock that Fat Albert's dad is women drugging, sexually molesting sleazebag,  I just want to see him found guilty and thrown in jail.

The idea that this man was once held up as role model and an idol to millions just makes me sick.

I actually bought his book on Fatherhood. A fact which embarrasses the hell out of me in light of these revelations.

Federal judge says there is no evidence of criminal activity in Planned Parenthood videos.

Courtesy of CBS News:

Recordings secretly made by an anti-abortion group at meetings of abortion providers do not show criminal activity and could put the providers at risk, a federal judge said Friday, citing the recent shooting at a Colorado Planned Parenthood clinic.

U.S. District Judge William Orrick made the comments during a hearing over the National Abortion Federation's request for a preliminary injunction that would continue to block the release of the recordings. Orrick did not immediately issue a ruling. He previously issued a temporary restraining order blocking the recordings pending the outcome of the preliminary injunction hearing.

The National Abortion Federation filed a lawsuit in July, saying members of the Center for Medical Progress infiltrated its meetings and recorded its members. The federation of abortion providers says the release of any audio or video would put members in danger.

Orrick seemed to agree, saying doctors who have appeared in videos released by the center have received death threats. He also cited suspected arson at abortion clinics and the November shooting at the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic that left three people dead and nine wounded.

Of course there is nothing criminal in those videos, however the violent rhetoric coming from Fox news hosts and Republican presidential candidates in response to those videos, well that is another thing altogether.

I am still hoping to see the producer of those doctored videos, David Daleiden, brought up on domestic terrorism charges for the shooting in Colorado Springs.

Finally something everybody can agree on, hating this douchebag.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Martin Shkreli, the price-gouging pharmaceutical company executive, was arrested early Thursday morning on securities fraud charges.

The 32-year-old CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals AG became known as the most hated man on the Internet after buying the rights to a life-saving medication and jacking up the price from $13.50 to $750 per pill.

Federal investigators charged Shkreli with illegally taking stock from Retrophin Inc., another biotech firm he founded in 2011, to pay off debts from unrelated business dealings, reported Bloomberg.

He was “unceremoniously dumped” from that company in September 2014 and sued by its board.

The lawsuit alleges that Shkreli used a series of “extra-legal maneuvers” to essentially turn Retrophin into his personal bank — and now the company seeks every bit of money he made off the company.

I know we're not supposed to hope for prison rape, but can't I make an exception just this one time?

I mean this guy is the scum of the earth. In fact I take that back, because it's really an insult to your usual everyday scum.

By the way just in case you think I am exaggerating, recently Shkreli purchased the ONLY copy made of the Wu-Tang Clan's album "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin."

He then said he had no intention of ever even listening to the album, which REALLY pissed off fans of the Wu-Tang Clan and hip hop music.

When asked in an interview about it, Shkreli said this:

In the HipHopDX interview, Shkreli discusses the recent comments from Wu-Tang Clan members who say they wish they could take their album back. “If I hand you $2 million, f—ing show me some respect,” he said. “At least have the decency to say nothing or ‘no comment.’”

If anyone wants to hear his Wu-Tang Clan album, of which there is only one copy, he has a price for that, too. “I’m not going to play it for no reason,” he said. “If Taylor Swift wants to come over and s— my d— I’ll play it for her.”

Like I said......scum. Only much, much worse.

Seriously the only thing I can't understand is, with that shitty of a personality how is he not running for the GOP nomination?

Vanity Fair brings you a day in the life of convicted criminal Dinesh D'Souza. And it is even more pathetic than you imagine.

"The conservative accepts that the world is a dangerous place. I’d rather pull the bandwagon than sit in the bandwagon, and I think that’s probably what distinguishes me from a lot of other people."

Well that and being an unbelievable douche-bag.

Here's Wonkette's take:

See Dinesh walk the mean streets of L.A. with nothing but a latte and a camera crew for protection! Watch Dinesh shave! Observe as he ties his shoes! See him flash gang signs while dressed up as a fashion magazine’s version of a cholo!

Damn there is so much to mock here I quite literally do not know where to begin.

Everything about this video screams "I am a pathetic pretentious loser, pity me." While at the same time trying to convince us that he plays an important role in the fight against liberals and their agenda.

Personally I am torn as to what is more pathetic, watching him being dressed as an extra in "The Wire" or watching him shave around where his chin should be.

Indiana woman sentenced to 20 years in prison for feticide. The inevitable result of aggressive anti-abortion laws.

Courtesy of New York Magazine:

In a ruling that’s already caused uproar across the country, Purvi Patel was sentenced on Monday to 20 years in prison for committing feticide. Patel, a 33-year-old woman from Indiana, was accused of illegally inducing her own abortion and subsequently having a baby she allowed to die. Last July, Patel visited an emergency room with severe bleeding and eventually told doctors she’d miscarried. When questioned about the location of the fetal remains, she said she was unsure what to do, so she wrapped the fetal remains in a bag and threw the bag in a Dumpster. Patel was then living with her conservative Hindu parents and in a relationship with a married co-worker, which helps explain why she felt it necessary to hide the pregnancy and dispose of the remains so quickly.

While Patel has maintained that she miscarried and delivered a stillborn baby, prosecutors insisted that she induced a late-term abortion with pills she ordered on the internet and gave birth to a living fetus that died almost instantly. A toxicology report produced no evidence of such drugs in her system, but prosecutors pointed to texts Patel exchanged with a friend in which she claimed to have ordered pills from a pharmacy in Hong Kong. Because the age of the fetus was heavily contested, it’s possible that had she gotten a prescription for the pills in the U.S., the pregnancy termination (if that’s what happened) would have been legal. It remains illegal to order such pills online.

If Patel did self-induce an abortion, it’s essential to understand the legal restrictions she faced as a resident of Indiana. The state has only 11 abortion clinics and an exhaustive list of abortion restrictions. Indiana prohibits certain qualified health-care professionals from performing abortions, restricts young women’s access to abortion by requiring parental consent, subjects abortion providers to targeted (and burdensome) regulations not applied to other medical professionals, subjects women to biased counseling and mandatory delays, has passed unconstitutional bans on abortion, prohibits certain state employees and organizations with state funding from referring women to abortion services, restricts access to other reproductive health care, and restricts low-income women’s access to abortion.

The article goes on to question the case against Patel, including expert medial testimony that at 24 weeks the fetus was not viable, and would have died even if born alive.

What we as a country need to recognize is that if the Republicans get their way this will become a much more common occurrence, and soon women will be arrested for miscarriages that happen even during the first trimester of their pregnancy, without any evidence of wrongdoing on the mother's part.

In the conservative world women were created to give life. And failing that biological imperative, they have no real value.

And in their world the fetus is the most precious of all lives, far more important than the life of a woman who cannot even manage get pregnant or give birth correctly.

That is why their focus is not only making it impossible to get an abortion, but even doing away with birth control itself.

I don't think Sarah Palin knows how long e-mail has existed.

Okay so the above image showed up last night on Palin's Facebook page.

It clearly shows Hillary about to take a pickaxe to a bunch of e-mail servers, thereby destroying them, and of course makes the claim that even Nixon never did that.

Which is true, since the very first sitting President to send an e-mail was Hillary's husband Bill, who sent exactly two of them.

What I find even more bizarre is the fact that the conservatives keep using these comparisons to Nixon in order to smear Hillary, without copping to the fact that he was one of theirs.

In fact constantly bringing up Nixon only allows progressives to point out that the most corrupt president's in recent history have been Republicans. Nixon with Watergate, Ronald Reagan whose administration had 21 convictions, and of course the Bush administration lied to the entire country in order to start a war with Iraq.

And of course we all know the kinds of trouble that Sarah Palin herself got herself into while SHE was Governor of Alaska.

So yes Sarah, President Nixon, the man famous for the missing 18 and half minutes of missing audio tape, did not destroy any of his non-existent e-mails. He also did not murder any non-existent unicorns, so I guess he deserves credit for that as well.

The comparison with Hillary, of course, is simply ridiculous, But hey I guess when you don't have much to work with, you get a little desperate.

P.S. Palin also linked to that Dakota Meyer interview the other day, just to make the fact that he recorded it in her Wasilla studio just that much more obvious.

No Regrets.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

Dick Cheney gave an unflinching defense of he CIA's post-9/11 torture program on "Meet the Press" on Sunday, dismissing criticisms of the program's forced rectal feedings, waterboarding and a death.

"It worked. It absolutely did work," said Cheney, a driving force behind the George W. Bush administration's use of harsh tactics in response to the 9/11 attacks.

The Senate report on the interrogation program details forced rectal feedings that were medically unnecessary. But on Sunday, Cheney said the feedings were done for "medical reasons." The former vice president showed little remorse for the dozens of prisoners who were found to have been wrongfully detained, for the man who died in the program, or for people like Khaled El-Masri -- a German citizen who was shipped off to Afghanistan and sodomized in a case of mistaken identity.

"I'd do it again in a minute," said Cheney. He also spoke repeatedly of how the program was justified to get the "bastards" who perpetrated the 9/11 attacks.

Video can be found here.

Perhaps one of the most evil men in American history.

If we truly were a just nation this piece of shit would be behind bars awaiting execution.

Iowa Republican legislator accused of sexually abusing his incapacitated wife in her nursing home bed.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

Henry Rayhons, 78, a Republican state representative from Iowa House District 8, was told by medical staff on May 15 that his wife, 78-year-old Donna Rayhons, no longer had the mental ability to consent to sexual activity, according to a criminal complaint obtained by WHO-TV.

Donna Rayhons, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease, had been living in Concord Care Center in Garner, Iowa, since March, according to the Des Moines Register.

On May 23 — 8 days after being told his wife could no longer consent — Rayhons went into his wife’s room at the nursing home and closed the curtains that separated the woman from her roommate. The roommate later told staff that the noises she heard indicated Rayhons was engaged in sexual activity with his wife.

Surveillance video also allegedly shows Rayhons throwing his underwear into a laundry bag as he left the room, according to the complaint.

In an interview with law enforcement in June, Rayhons allegedly confessed to “having sexual contact” with his wife, according to KCCI. He also allegedly admitted that he had a copy of the document that stated his wife did not have the cognitive ability to give consent.

Rayhons was charged with third-degree sexual abuse on Friday.

You know Republicans are forever telling people that there are certain kinds of sex that is permissible, between a man and his wife for instance, and types of sex that are not permissible, such as any kind that is really enjoyable.

And of course they use the Bible and label everything they do not like as a "sin."

However for those of us who do not take our morality from the pages of an ancient book, we usually determine permissible sex as any sex act between to consenting adults, who have the capacity to provide that consent.

What Mr. Rayhons did is disgusting.

He took advantage of a person who was unable to provide her consent.

It does not matter that the body he used was that of his wife, because her mind was unable to make a decision to provide consent. and that makes what he did rape.

And HE is a pig for putting his salacious needs above those of a woman that he is supposed to love and protect.

Missouri "Doomsday Prepper" arrested after terrorizing neighborhood for weeks.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Police arrested a Missouri “doomsday prepper” who investigators said had been terrorizing his neighborhood for weeks.

Neighbors began complaining in May about 36-year-old Roy McCool after he allegedly assaulted a woman in Springfield home, reported the Springfield News-Leader.

Investigators said McCool forced his way into the woman’s home and punched, slapped, and choked her before firing three rounds from a handgun into her living room wall. McCool broke into the woman’s home two days later and stole a bank card and $35 in cash from her children’s piggy banks, police said. Neighbors said McCool’s behavior grew even more threatening about two weeks later, in late May, when he stood in his front yard with a gun and yelled threats toward other residents.

Apparently Mr. McCool, who has one of the most ironic names ever,  has also been getting into numerous confrontations with his neighbors, hit one man in the face with a wooden stake, and has been openly displaying firearms to passersby.

When the police arrested his ass he had 10 guns consisting of one AR-15, three other rifles, four handguns, and a shotgun. Not to mention the thousands of rounds of ammunition he had just in case the "gubmint" came after him.

Despite all of that preparation it sounds as if the local police had little difficulty apprehending the suspect, who has been charged with six felonies,  including three counts of burglary, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and one count of domestic assault.

Well that is one less Sarah Palin supporter walking the streets at least.

Former Senate candidate Annette Bosworth arrested for fraudulently gathering vote signatures. Now why does that name sound familiar?

Courtesy of the Wall Street Journal:

South Dakota authorities on Wednesday arrested former U.S. Senate candidate Annette Bosworth, alleging she fraudulently attested to gathering voter signatures when she was really on a Christian mission trip to the Philippines.

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley charged Dr. Bosworth with six counts of perjury and six counts of filing false documents related to election campaign laws. The arrest warrant was served a day after Dr. Bosworth lost the Republican primary with just 6% of the vote.

An IM visitor sent me this article along with a reminder that we have discussed Bosworth on this blog before.

At the time we noted that Bosworth was being ridiculed in  South Dakota for posting a selfie with Palin.

It should be noted that Palin never did officially endorse Bosworth (Apparently she could not come up with enough money?). However it seems the Palin curse is powerful enough to affect a candidate simply by standing too close to the Wasilla Wendigo.

Here's a question. Do you think that Palin is drawn to candidates who are cripplingly unethical, or is it just that there are so many unethical people running around among the conservative movement these days that it is hard to find one who is not a total shit?

American University students walk out during Dick Cheney appearance. Call him a war criminal. You know, because he is.

Courtesy of Liberals Unite: Video footage shows students walking out on Dick Cheney while he was speaking at American University. The students were protesting his foreign policy, and calling him a “War criminal” as they left the arena.

Damn am I jealous!

I would love nothing more than to have the opportunity to walk out on Dick Cheney while yelling that he is a war criminal.

Like a dream come true.

Later the war criminal denied the allegations:

“The accusations are not true,” Cheney said.

During his vice presidency, three people were waterboarded, Cheney said. Waterboarding refers to either pumping a stomach with water or inducing choking by filling a throat with a stream of water, according to a report by NPR.

“Some people called it torture. It wasn’t torture,” Cheney said in an interview with ATV.

First off water boarding IS torture, and  Americans believed that it was right up until we started to do it.

Second Dick Cheney is DEFINITELY a war criminal for helping to lie us into an unnecessary war, being instrumental in the outing of a CIA agent, and of course for supporting torture.

The guy is a complete POS and he deserves every bit of acrimony and hostility that comes his way.

Baptist pastor steals $170,000 from elderly member of church. Parishioner claims “He’s the best pastor this town and state has ever had.”

Courtesy of Raw Story:

A Baptist pastor in Connecticut was arrested this week after being accused of stealing more than $170,000 from an elderly woman who was a member of his church.

According to Attorney Joseph Mager, who is currently serving as conservator for the victim, a probate judge first noticed inconsistencies in the woman’s bank account while 67-year-old Stratford Baptist Church Pastor Robert Genevicz was the acting conservator in 2013.

After more than $170,000 went missing from the account, police launched an investigation. Genevicz turned himself in to authorities on Wednesday.

A judge had previously ordered Genevicz to pay the woman $170,000 within 30 days. Mager filed a lawsuit when the pastor failed to come up with the money.

“It’s just awful for this poor woman,” Mager explained. “Right now, she’s in an assisted living facility and her money is dwindling very quickly.”

WVIT spoke to members of the church who were standing behind Genevicz.

“A hundred percent,” one parishioner said. “He’s the best pastor this town and state has ever had.”

Must be more of that faith inspired morality I keep hearing about.

Memphis rape victim sues over backlog of 15,000 untested rape kits. Including her own.

Courtesy of Buzzfeed:

An anonymous Memphis woman has filed a class-action lawsuit against her city for failing to test an estimated backlog of 15,000 rape kits — including her own kit from 2001.

According to the complaint filed on Dec. 20, over the past several decades, thousands of Memphis women have reported their sexual assaults and received rape kits — or “had body fluid samples removed from their bodies and placed within sexual assault evidence kits.” But scores of those kits were sent to the Memphis Police Department and left untested, allegedly resulting in “spoliation.”

The lawsuit was filed by a single mother who was raped multiple times in the early hours of March 30, 2001, when an intruder broke through her window and bound her arms and feet.

The woman says she was treated at Shelby County’s Rape Crisis Center, where her samples were put into a Memphis Police Department Sexual Assault Evidence Kit. But the kit was never submitted for testing, according to the lawsuit, and the intruder was never arrested.

Memphis has previously acknowledged its enormous backlog of rape kits, with Police Director Toney Armstrong saying in November that the department will have 12,000 unprocessed rape kits “even after an initial round of 2,226 kits is tested,” according to Memphis’ Commercial Appeal. (The department received $500,000 in September to test the kits and $1 million to build a facility to house them.)

In an interview with the Commercial Appeal, Deputy Memphis Police Chief Jim Harvey attributed the backlog to several factors, including advances in DNA-testing technology — which meant re-testing old kits that only tested blood types — and outdated procedures, such as police using staplers to bound envelopes of evidence together, or not testing kits when the victim knew his or her attacker. He also blamed the department’s lack of record-keeping abilities on an employee who was responsible for transporting rape kits into storage. That employee has since died.

“[There] may have been some kind of document that Hyun Kim was storing this information in, but we don’t know, because he died,” Harvey said. “And when he died, everything he knew went with him.”

And law enforcement wonders why women are so hesitant to report a rape.

Even in today's so-called "enlightened" era you will find both men and women often jumping to the assumption that "she made the whole thing up,' or "she was asking for it," or "she sent him mixed signals."

Add this to the callousness of police officers, the shaming in the courtroom, and the isolation it often causes among friends and family members, and the real surprise it that ANY woman reports their assault.

In perhaps the least shocking news of the day George Zimmerman is in trouble with the law again.

Zimmerman's newest booking photo.
Courtesy of NBC News:

George Zimmerman has been arrested in Florida, NBC News has learned.

A Seminole County Sheriff's Office statement says Zimmerman was arrested Monday afternoon after deputies responded to a disturbance call at a house in Apopka, Fla., about 15 miles northwest of Orlando.

Zimmerman will be transported and booked into jail pending arraignment.

The statement provided few other details, and it was not immediately known what charges he faced.

The police have not release any details as of yet, but the Orlando Sentinel did dig up this little tidbit:

The Sheriff's Office, in a short news release, reported that the agency had arrested Zimmerman after being called to a disturbance on Topfield Court in western Seminole County near Apopka about 1 p.m.

Zimmerman's new girlfriend, a 27-year-old blonde, lives in the 1300 block of Topfield Court, according to an unrelated Lake Mary police report.

Hmm, smells like domestic abuse to me. And it is certainly not the first time he has had run ins with the law over that in the past.

The only question is what will it take before George Zimmerman is locked away for good? It is not like we were not warned that he was dangerous.
