There are 3 worlds Joyal which is where the descendants of Earth live, Kireg where the white haired skinned inhabitants can mind read/ manipulate and Mian - A Warrior breed that have pointy ears, and have glowing eyes.
Joyal don't touch/embrace or have sex anymore ( Yeah shudder lol) Braita Valorn and her friend Jax are sold off as slaves by the corrupt President of Joyal, with no choice and no chance at saying goodbye to friends they are sent to Mian, in space suits with a limited supply of oxygen! what a start to a new life.
It's a good job that Braita and Jax were being trained as soldiers, it comes in very handy when they arrive on the planet.
I liked this story at the start, Braita survives and is sent to live with 2 men (the Plumas - men - live in pairs and have harems.) She is their Soulmate, and can't be too far away from them physically, but treat her more like a pet, and when she finally figures out why she runs away... and eventually into the hands of Jax's owners, Pluma leaders of the East.
OK I know I was reading an ARC so the typos I will ignore, but the flow of the story gets confusing in places especially in regards of the soulmates, and the way no human have skin to skin contact anymore, which it seems neither Braita or Jax have a problem with when they land, after 18 yrs of no contact!.
I am not going to reveal too much, I don't do spoilers.
There isn't much sex in this book (surprising for Scarlett), so be advise if you were thinking you were going to get some group sex or something.
Like I said, I enjoyed the premise, and the world that Scarlett has created, but I feel that after reading other books of the authors, it could have been much better, so it gets a 3 star from me.

So I was looking forward to finding out about Mac He's a top notch Beta who also work's in Chastity’s new orphanage unwanted Shifter kids. But what Ms Michaels had in store for him was quite a surprise for me, but it was a good story and he has a lot of trials to bare before he gets his HEA, warning the story contains MM scenes.
Cam and Chastity are on a mission to rescue a hybrid Shifter baby and of course things tend to go a bit awry with these missions, and this story doesn't disappoint, it was action packed, full of suspense and of course a few baddies that need their arses whipping.
I am glad Cam got to teach the cruel bigoted Alpha a lesson in manners.
I have enjoyed this series, in fact I haven't really not read a book of Ms Michaels that I have not loved.
If you like fast paced Enjoyable Paranormal Romance then give this series a read....more

Andi sure has some out there ways to get the issues on the table and poor Theo can’t decide if she’s a nightmare or his very deepest fantasy come true…

In this story it's the Roadies that are the focus rather than the band members, Kelly is the cousin of one of the band members and he is taking a year off and travelling with the band working behind the scenes.
Kelly has been enjoying the perks of being a roadie, and the girls were all over him, but there is one person who has caught his eye, and now that the tour is coming to a close he has to make a move.
Its Jasper's birthday, and when Kelly comes up to him he doesn't know whether to take him seriously.
So Kelly decides to prove he is serious.
This is a story of a young man who is discovering his sexuality. hat are This is the first story I have read of Shona Husk. This collection of stories should appeal to a wide range of romance readers.

Warning - this book is for adults with a sense of humour and not easily offended with non Vanilla Sex scenes! As the book warns, in Avery's signature humour "Content Warning: Pent-up sexual tension between two best friends leads to water sports, BDSM, electricity, and fisting. Unsaid explores men’s grooming fetishes as well as other unexpected domestic duties including cooking, dog walking and true love."
This is my first book in "The Manhattanites" series, but I have read all the "Undergrad Years" Series so the characters are familiar, and I read XO, Blakewhen it released, I do think you need to have read either of the series to fully connect with the characters.
Now As I said I read XO, Blake when it released and I had read the others in that series before this, so these characters are familiar to me, Avery has a great writing style, and that is why I have continued to read and enjoy these characters.
The books are humourous, and her characters are flawed, selfish at times, but above all, they will do anything for their friends...
If you like Gossip Girl, Sex in the City etc then you will enjoy this series and the Under Grad Years also.
Now I do not read M/M books as a rule, but having read XO, Blake, I knew that I wanted to know how Blake was doing now he was out of college and grown up so to speak (I must find time to read the other 2 books!)
I do not think I will have a problem reading them out of order, but I do think it would be best to read them in order to enjoy and understand them.
I didn't have a problem with the sex scenes, some of them were pretty hot, so I can now see why MM books are popular amongst the general public, and not strictly for the gay community.
I have liked Blakes character since he was first introduced, He is a gentleman, who loves unconditionally, and unfortunately his happy ever after was not with Diego which is where I left him in XO, Blake. In Unsaid, we are at the point where Blakes divorce is final and he is trying to piece his life back together.
There are also the subplots of Lex's Wedding and Vive's Alcohol issues, to give a really great mix of storylines that tie up nicely together.
So in finishing, I would say if you are broadminded - and want to give the MM genre a try, then try Avery's Books, I did and I am happy to have read this book about 2 guys who finally get their HEA. ...more
