Even though we have a great deal of information on Alessandro and we already know the type of person he is, we get more. Which is crazy cause he is definitely a mind rambler. His inner monologue goes on and on but it’s not overwhelming. I think this is my favorite so far and I pray that the reunion with his lord doesn’t disappoint. ...more

That is the only thing i can say. Although this is slightly dark, the bigger picture is so much more appealing than the twisted picture it could’ve been. Me being me, i am a little sad that scenes with Marco were rushed and kept short. He is the only true darkness in this story. Kenneth, who I absolutely loved (sue me) was fighting a losing battle right from the beginning and he knew it. Anita was just stubborn. I kept waiting for her to just simply ask Kenneth to buy her from Marco but nooooo Ms Difficult, but i guess that would’ve been way too easy. Overall, i am extremely pleased with the development as well as the outcome (and im not one for hea). The characters were just right for the plot itself. I felt the energy of it, my imagination ran with it, and my mind was completely wrapped up in it. Hell i felt invested, hence the reason it is 3am and i have been reading all night. ...more

I figured something big and drastic would happen. There was no real climax. Just two lost boys finding their way through the dark. Nothing but sex, nightmares, breakdowns, and therapy. Why in the world did the step father not come back into the picture some way? Why couldn't Trey be allowed to truly find some type of peace? Well i guess my way of finding peace would have taken this story straight off the deep end! It would've landed straight into the territory of demented rage and revenge. Now Willies death would have made this so much sweeter in the end. Not the i love you!...more

I'm not sure what can be said. It had potential, i just couldn't connect to Adair. She never fought back, she just gave in and left the fighting to her inner monologue. From the beginning, there was acceptance in her situation. I feel it was too far fetched, not enough realism. Every time she spoke of being broken, all i could think it that she has no idea what it would mean to be truly broken.
This story could have been a twisted minds wet dream. With a little more force and a lot more dominance, this could have been a dark novel to rival the best. That's how much potential it have. It was unique in a way the most are not. Plus the pet play was a nice touch. ...more
