Michael Carroll's timeline of Marvel UK comics (here) has an array of interestingly short-lived comics on that I thought I should create cover galleries for them. Sometimes this is easier said than done but let's start a covers gallery for the short-lived Daredevils comic from 1983.

Stan Lee book signing - 1975

A look, for posterity, at this recent excellent item sold by (always interesting auction house) Excalibur Auctions (here). The hammer price was £110.

It's a photo album commemorating the Stan Lee book signing for Captain Britain launch. It was held on the Charing Cross Road in October 1975.

Captain Britain summer specials

I've looked before at Captain Britain merchandise (here) and I just wanted to highlight these 3 specials - especially the 3rd which I understand is particularly rare.

Several Captain Britain Specials have been published over the years, beginning with the 1980 Summer Special, which reprinted the lead strip from Captain Britain weekly #28-32, as well as some classic US-produced Black Knight and Doctor Strange strips. The 1981 Special reprinted a Spider-Man and Captain Britain team-up story from Super Spider-man and Captain Britain and the American-produced Marvel Team-Up #65-66, while a 1992 Autumn Special reprinted several installments of the Captain Britain series from Mighty World of Marvel Vol 2 in colour

I've come across some Captain Britain comic free gifts so thought I'd add them to my list of all things Captain Britain related.

I've updated this previous post about Captain Britain with a couple of new images (below) of a pinball game [images shared c/o Dominic Sutton on the 'London Loves Comics' Facebook group] 

if you know of any other Captain Britain merchandise that I've not highlighted below then do get in touch as I'd be pleased to add it to further updates of this post. 

Phil Shrimpton has kindly agreed to let me share these images of a particular piece of Captain Britain merchandise that he's currently selling (here)...yes it's a Captain Britain pinafore, I mean, chest motif...apparently the original purchaser was rather underwhelmed with this (really?) and never played with it...so it's in such great condition now...

Check out those (plastic) wrist bands...

This Cap. merchandise reminded me that there were Captain Britain jigsaws too...in my head there were only a couple but as you can see (from my ebay swipes) below, there were (at least) 4 jigsaws...

I don't own any of these so can't tell you if there are titles or numbers to help identify them further (and show us if there are any more jigsaws), anyway, keep your eye peeled in your local charity shops for these beauties...
