The Tripods by John M Burns
Here's the John M Burns art for Tripods strip that ran in Beeb magazine. This is taken from issue 1. Format is the same across all issues of Beeb - i.e. two colour pages and then one black & white page.

Beeb magazine covers gallery - part 1
Beeb was the BBC's answer to Look In magazine - it only lasted for 20 issues (with the last 3 issues apparently only being available to subscribers) and featured a consistent run of strips in its life...
