Using Versafine Black Ink I stamped the main image-
'A Path to Somewhere' by Honey Doo Crafts
Both text stamps are with the main image set.
I scribbled two lines around the card to give it an edge.

Stamping &Colouring on Vellum

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new challenge at
We hope you are learning a few new card making designs.
Our challenge for the next two weeks is
Stamping and colouring onto Vellum.
Please check out the blog and the inspirational cards
by the design team.
I used a Honey Doo Crafts stamp - Floral Crest.
I used Versafine black ink on the front of the vellum, embossed
with clear embossing powder. I wish I had used Versamark and
white embossing powder for a more detailed and cleaner looking result,
but hey that is for another day.
Flipped it over to the backside and used Promarkers to colour it.
Hope you have a go and enjoy the creation of your card.

Get Krafty

hello again, hope your keeping well, I'm not too good myself at present.
I have a chest infection(again) along with aching limbs and general fatigue.
Well that's enough about me. LOL
Today we start a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz.
Julie has chosen  - Get Krafty - so you are to use Kraft card.
The DT have again excelled with some wonderful inspiration.
Please pop and visit the blog to check them out.
I have used a 7" sq. Kraft card, which nicely acommodates the large
stamp from Honey Doo Stamps,  along with the Greeting stamp.
I love Amanda's stamps.
I stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with white fine detail powder.
I then painted with mica paints.  It truly glimmers and shines .

Embossing Heat or Dry

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today is the first day of a two week challenge
at My Time To Craft, the challenge is
Embossing Either Dry or Heat Embossing.
Please pop and see the  inspirational DT creations
For my DT card, I chose to work on Kraft card which I do like.
It can show some techniques very  clearly as with heat embossing.
All the background and kraft papers are from my stash,
The main design page was created using stamps from
Honey Doo Stamps - stamping with Versamark.
I added white detail embossing powder, which was then heated.
My favourite colouring medium is Promarkers, however, you can't
use an alcohol pen next to  heat embossed areas, for the alcohol
breaks down the embossed lines. Bearing this in mind I used
watercolour pencils without adding any water to colour the design.
I added a few coloured gems.
The greeting stamp is ancient - no idea by who. Go on have a go.

D is for Dots

Hello again, today is the start of a new challenge at
Alphabet Challenges
and we have reached the letter D - the challenge is
DOTS.......................................
Please pop over to the blog to check out the DT Gallery of inspiration.
For my card, I used the Bold Bloom - Ruby stamp from Woodware.
I fussy cut it, then filled it in with DOTS - for those who don't know
this is called POINTILLISM.
I already had a batch of prepared backgrounds from one of my
greatly enjoyable messy days playing with inks. The background
above was created with shaving foam and ink sprays.
The greeting stamp is from Honey Doo stamps.
A few black gems added.
So, why don't you pop to the blog and accept the challenge?

Use an Embossing Folder

Hi everyone, thanks for your visit. Today starts a new challenge,
for the next two weeks at  Cardz 4 Galz .  Babs has chosen
a technique, which can be simple or you can play with it.
Please pop over to the blog to see the DT Gallery of inspiration.
For my card, I stayed fairly simple, but elegant.
I made grey, white and pink layers for the white embossed square.
Embossing Folder is Christmas Vines but it can look okay for any season.
I gutted the grey and the pink sheets, to die cut the grey scrolls and
the petals for the flower from the pink.
For those who don't know what I mean by gutted.  ........
Where only a small edge is needed on your card/paper, and you may
be short of card of the same colour, you can cut out  a
square from the centre or even directly die cut in the centre.
as long as you leaave  a sufficient border with strength
to use as your mat or layer.
The dies used were freebies with magazines.
the greeting stamp is from Honey Doo Stamps.

which has been fussy cut, glitter and purple gems added.
The sentiment is from a Papermania Bellisima paper pad set.
The lower right corner has all been stamped, using stamps
from Honey Doo stamps - Flowers By Design.
