Get Krafty

hello again, hope your keeping well, I'm not too good myself at present.
I have a chest infection(again) along with aching limbs and general fatigue.
Well that's enough about me. LOL
Today we start a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz.
Julie has chosen  - Get Krafty - so you are to use Kraft card.
The DT have again excelled with some wonderful inspiration.
Please pop and visit the blog to check them out.
I have used a 7" sq. Kraft card, which nicely acommodates the large
stamp from Honey Doo Stamps,  along with the Greeting stamp.
I love Amanda's stamps.
I stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with white fine detail powder.
I then painted with mica paints.  It truly glimmers and shines .

was first stamped with Versamark, then heat embossed with white

Here Comes Summer

Stamp used is  Grasses from Woodware Stamps
At Fantasy Challenges you will find for the next two weeks our challenge which is 'Here Comes Summer'. So many choices for you with this theme. Here in the NE of England, the summer has been with us for a week or so, today is no exception. I am only hoping over the neaxt two weeks it stays warm and sunny for Wimbledon. I made my card with the memories of long warm sunny walks in the countryside, minutes from my door. I stamped the entrire background with a Versamark pad. I added mica powder in stripes. I then stamped with Versamark onto the background, which lifted mica powder off with the stamp, which gives a soft shadow effect. I then lightly sprayed from a distance with  cheap hair spray. When completley dry, left aside for a few days, I finally stamped the same stamp slightly away from the previous impression, this time using a black Memento ink pad. The sentiment is from Hobby Art. I look forward to visiting your creations over the next two weeks, enjoy the summer weather wherever you may be. Have fun.

#55 Photo Inspiration at ATSM

Hello everyone, well believe it or not it is time for #55 of our challenges at Addicted to Stamps and More
which is a Photo Inspiration challenge, showing the happy birthday candles above. We are once again delighted to have Melonheads Illustrations as our sponsors, the details of their prize and the wonderful                                          projects from the Design Team are all to be found on the main blog.
For my Design Team project i used a piece of black card which was later matted onto a piece of silver mirri then onto a white DL card.  Using Versafine I stamped the candles with a wonderful candle stamp from Whispers -  Do Craft company. There are 30 candles, but this can be used for any age, with a little cutting, either removing or adding more candles. Once stamped I patted various mica powder colours, across the candles, finally adding Glossy Accents to the flames with a small sprinkling of gold glitter, I really wanted the flames to be very bright, hope I've managed.  The Happy Birthday letters, being honest, have been re-cycled from a card I received a few years ago, I kept the letters knowing one day, I would find a use for them. Once again I look forward to visiting you to see how you have been inspired by #55 Photo Inspiration.
Thanks for popping by, your visits and comments are always greatly appreciated.
