Native Creatives
A step-by-step guide to adding native creatives to your campaign using image assets, video assets, or a third-party ad tag.
When adding creatives to a Native campaign, you have three options:
- Image Assets — select a Main Image from the Creative Library and optionally add an Icon Image. Supports bulk selection of up to 50 main images at once;
- Video Assets — use a video file as the main creative asset for native placements. You can also optionally add a Main Image and an Icon Image to complement the video;
- 3rd Party Ad Tag — provide image URLs and creative details manually to serve creatives from a third-party source.
Image Assets
- After saving your Native campaign, you are redirected to the Add Native Creative page.
- Click the Image Assets card.
- On the Select Main Images tab, select one or more images using checkboxes. To upload new images, click Upload Images in the top right corner.
- Click Select Main Images (N) to proceed.
- On the Select Icon Image tab, select an image using the radio button and click Select Icon Image to proceed
- On the Bulk Native Creative Settings page, fill in the required fields:
- Click URL
- Advertiser Domain / Bundle - used by SSPs (platforms that control which ads appear on publisher sites and apps) to allow or block your creative. Once you enter the Target URL, the system detects the final destination domain/bundle and suggests it below the field
- Title - the headline of your native ad (up to 50 characters);
- Description - a short body text that supports the title (up to 150 characters);
- CTA - text shown on the ad, e.g. "Learn More" or "Shop Now" (up to 50 characters);
- Sponsored - the brand or sponsor name displayed on the ad (up to 25 characters);
- Rating - optional star rating (1–5) to display on the creative.
Kindly note!Native ads are built from individual components (image, title, description, CTA...) — that publishers assemble into their own layout. Empty fields may cause your ad to appear incomplete or less engaging to users.
That's the core flow. If you need more granular control over your creatives, expand Advanced Options on the same page.
- Bid Price (CPM) — overrides the campaign bid price for this creative;
- Frequency Cap (24h) — native ad views by a unique user per 24 hours. Overrides Campaign Frequency Cap for this creative;
- Frequency Cap (30 Days) — native ad views by a unique user per 30 days. Overrides Campaign Frequency Cap for this creative;
- Creative Attributes — IAB Creative Attributes used as a targeting option. If an incoming bid request contains them in the attr field, an allow-list is applied. If they are contained in the battr field, a block-list is applied;
- Creative Category — IAB Category. If an incoming bid request contains them in the cat field, allow-list is applied. If they are contained in the bcat field, block-list is applied.
Pay AttentionCreative Attributes and Creative Category require the SSP to send this information. If an incoming bid request does not contain these fields, this creative will not be shown.
Video Assets
Video Assets for Native follow a similar flow to Image Assets, with the following difference — you start by selecting a Main Video (required), then you may select a Main Image and an Icon Image optionally.
Kindly note!Video Assets for Native may not be available by default. If you don't see this option, contact your Account Manager to have it enabled for your account.
Pay AttentionNative video inventory is limited — not all publishers support this format. If you're planning to run video assets, reach out to your Account Manager first to discuss available inventory. We also recommend adding a Main Image and Icon Image alongside your video — this helps to reach more placements.
3rd Party Ad Tag
Use this option when your creative assets are hosted externally. The fields are the same as for Image Assets, with one difference — instead of selecting images from the library, you provide Main Image URL and Icon Image URL directly.
