Banner
This creative type contains a simple image ad. You can choose a local image, one of the already uploaded image creatives from the Creative Library, or use a 3rd party tag.
To set up a Banner creative type, fill in the Name and settings.
Basic Settings
- Bid Price — CPM/CPC bid price inherited from the Campaign level. Overrides the campaign bid price for this creative.
- Frequency Cap (24 Hours) — banner views by a unique user per 24 hours. Overrides Campaign Frequency Cap for this banner.
- Frequency Cap (30 days) — banner view by a unique user per 30 days. Overrides Campaign Frequency Cap for this banner.
Ad Markup
Here you can choose the banner's type and apply additional settings:
The Banner creative can be set in 3 different ways: as a local image, as one of the already uploaded image creatives from the Creative Library, or as a 3rd party tag.
- Size (for 3rd party ad tag) — IAB standard banner sizes or Custom size.
- Width — width in px.
- Height — height in px.
- Ad Markup (for 3rd party ad tag) — field for the 3rd party banner tag.
- Target URL — landing page URL.
- Track Clicks – allows clicks tracking to analytics for this creative.
- Macros List — click to add needed dynamic macro(s).
- Advertiser Domains — advertiser domain(s), for example: epom.com. If an incoming bid request contains the specified domain(s) in the 'badv' field, a block-list is applied.
- Tracking Pixels/URLs — pixels or URLs used for 3rd-party events tracking. Tracking Pixels/URLs are added to ad markup and are fired by the SSP each time it executes the Ad Markup.
Advanced Options
- Creative Attributes — IAB Creative Attributes used as a targeting option. If an incoming bid request contains them in the 'attr' field, an allow-list is applied. If they are contained in the 'battr' filed, a block-list is applied.
- Creative Category — IAB Category. If an incoming bid request contains them in the 'cat' field, allow-list is applied. If they are contained in the 'bcat' filed, block-list is applied.
- Creative API Frameworks — API frameworks. Should only be used if required by an SSP.
Bid request must include targeted field values in Advanced SettingsCreative Attributes, Creative Category, and Creative API Frameworks require the SSP to send this information. If an incoming bid request does not contain these fields, this creative will not bid.
