Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Beim Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch heute eine Triple Pop Up Card. Die sieht geöffnet wirklich eindrucksvoll aus, kann zum Verschicken aber ganz flach zusammengelegt werden. Und ja, ich habe schon wieder eine Halloweenkarte gemacht. Die Zeit die vielen tollen Halloweenstempel zu verwenden ist so kurz, die muss komplett ausgenutzt werden. Passend zur Gruselnacht habe ich meine Karte aus schwarzem Cardstock gewerkelt.

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing a tutorial for a Triple Pop Up Card today. It looks really impressive once it's put up but it can be folded completly flat to mail it out. And yes, I've made a Halloween card once again. The time to use all those cute Halloween images is that short, I need to really use it good. Matching the Halloween night I've used black cardstock for the base of my card.

So sieht die zusammengelegte Karte aus. Sie ist quadratisch und passt prima in einen quadratischen Umschlag. Naja, wenn man nicht wie ich mit der Deko ein wenig über die Ränder hinaus arbeitet. 

This is the card folded flat. It's  a square one and can be mailed in a square envelope. Well, at least if you don't go too much over the edges like I did.

Man kann die Karte auch auf andere Weise zusammenfalten - so sieht man bereits mehr von der Deko. Auch so ist sie absolut flach.

You can also fold the card in a different way to show more of the decorations already. Also folded like this it is completly flat.

Und so sieht sie dann aufgestellt aus. Die Tiefenwirkung, die diese Karte entfaltet, fasziniert mich wirklich!

And this is the card all put up. I am really impressed with the depth this card provides!

Ich habe hier endlich mal die süßen Gespenster von Gerda Steiner eingeweiht und mit verschiedenen anderen Stempeln kombiniert. Die Grabsteine sind von MFT, das Schloss von Vildastamps, die Büsche mit einer Stanze von Magnolia und die Nebenschwaden wieder von MFT. 

Alle äußeren Seitenteile sind mit schwarzem Designpapier mit Spinnennetzprint, die ich grau gemattet habe, beklebt.

Finally I've used those cute ghosts by Gerda Steiner here and combined them with lots of other companies. The thombstones are by MFT, the castle by Vildastamps, the bushes made with a die by Magnolia and the mists are a die by MFT again.

All the outside squares on my card are covered with black designer's paper with a cobweb print, that I've matted with grey cardstock.

Auch auf der anderen Seite spukt ein kleiner Geist, diesmal in Begleitung einer Katze, ebenfalls von Vildastamps. Im Hintergrund steht ein knorriger Baum aus dem Haunted House Stanzenset von MFT. 

Also on the other side a little ghost is spooking, this time with a cat, also by Vildastamps, by his side. In the background there's a bare tree from the Haunted House die set by MFT.

Der mittlere Bereich hier ist nur bei aufgestellter Karte zu sehen. Beim Zusammenfalten verschwinden die Teile im Inneren der Karte. Natürlich ist auch der gruselig dekoriert. Diesmal hat der Geist einen Gruselkürbis von LawnFawn dabei.

Die inneren Seiten der Würfel habe ich mit quer orange und beige gestreiftem Designpapier beklebt.

The middle area can only be seen when the card is put up, when it's folded flat those pieces are hidden inside the card. Of course it's decorated with a scary scene as well. This time the ghost has company from a pumpkin by LawnFawn.

Den oberen Bereich der Karte habe ich mit einem Mond, einer süßen Fledermaus im Halloweenkostüm von Purple Onion, einigen Wolken sowie einem Halloweengruß versehen. Den Mond habe ich einfach aus einem Kreis aus cremefarbenem Cardstock gemacht. Die Ränder habe ich von außen her mit Distress Ink Scattered Straw gewischt und die Krater mit Copics aufgemalt.

The top part of the card is decorated with a full moon, a cute bat in a Halloween costume by Purple Onion, a few clouds and a Halloween greeting. The moon was simply made with a circle cut from cream colored cardstock. I've used Distress Ink Scattered Straw from the edges inwards and Copics to draw a few craters.

Da die oberen Teile der Würfel noch ein wenig nackig aussahen, habe ich hier jeweils einen weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embossten Halloween Text aufgeklebt. Der ist orange gemattet und mit etwas Cheesecloth hinterlegt.

Since the top areas of the cubes looked a bit plain I've added a Halloween Text to each of them. The texts are white heat embossed onto black cardstock, matted orange and glued down with some cheesecloth under them.

Zum Schluss habe ich noch die Innenseiten des langen Rückteils mit ebenfalls grau gemattetem orangefarbenem Designpapier mit schwarzen Punkten beklebt.

In the end I've glued some orange desinger's paper with black dots, also matted grey, to the inside of the long back part.

Ein Tag und eine Karte - zum Abschied

Jetzt habe ich doch glatt noch zwei Werke gefunden, die ich Euch noch nicht gezeigt habe. Und falls Ihr Euch wundert, was die mit Abschied zu tun haben - an sich nichts. Aber es sind meine letzten zwei Werke für das Vildastamps-DT. Schweren Herzens habe ich mit nach 3 Jahren entschlossen, das Team zu verlassen.

I really found two more project I haven't shared with you yet. They are my two very last projects for the Vildastamps DT. It's with a heavy heart that I've decided to leave the team after 3 years. 

Das erste Werk ist ein Tag. Darauf habe ich im Hintergrund eine Szene aus Schloss, Bäumen und Hügeln gestempelt. Den Himmel habe ich abendrot-mäßig mit Distress Ink gewischt und ein paar kleine Sterne glitzern schon am Himmel und zwei Vögelchen sind auch noch unterwegs.

Und da in die Märchenwelt ein Regenbogen gehört, habe ich den noch aus Cardstockstreifen über den Himmel geklebt.

The first project is a tag. I've stamped a scene from a castle, trees and a hill onto a regular tag. I've also inked the sky in evening colors using Distress Inks. A few little stars are already shining. And two birds are still flying around.

And since to me a rainbow belongs into fairyland I've added one cut from different colors of carstock.

Unten am Tag habe ich mit 3D Tape einen weiteren Hügel aufgeklebt. Dafür habe ich zuerst mit weißem Embossingpulver die Fee und das Einhorn auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst, um die Motive herum geschnitten und dabei frei Hand den Hügel mit geschnitten. Auf die Flügel der Fee und die Sterne des Einhorns habe ich noch etwas Glitzer aufgetragen. 

To the bottom I've added a second hill using dimensionals. First I've heat embossed the fairy and the unicorn onto black cardstock using white embossing poweder. Then I've cut around the images and while doing so hand cut the hill under them. Onto the fairy's wings and the stars on the unicorn's back I've added some Stickles.

Die zweite Karte ist eine Vatertagskarte. Und da ich es für Männer eher einfach mag, habe ich hier mit vielen Lagen einfarbigen Cardstocks im Hintergrund gearbeitet. Das größte Stück ist embosst und anschließend gesanded, zwischen die Lagen habe ich etwas Cheesecloth gepackt.

The second card is a father's day card. And since I like it simpler for men's cards I simpley used different layers of plain cardstock. The biggest piece was dry embossed and sanded and I've also put some Cheesecloth inbetween those layers.

Das süße Motiv ist passend zu den Cardstockfarben mit Copics coloriert. 

Als "Text" reichte hier ein mit dem Dymo geschriebenes Papa mit einem Herz darunter. Mehr muss man manchmal nicht sagen, oder?

The cute image is colored with Copics matching the colors of the cardstock.

As a "text" all it needed was a "dad" printed with my Dymo and a heart underneath. Sometimes you just don't need any more words, right?

Eine kleine Box

Irgendwie verschiebt sich diesen Monat alles. Deswegen zeige ich Euch diese Box, die ich auf dem Vildastamps Blog bereits am 21. April gezeigt habe, erst heute hier auf meinem eigenen Blog.

Everything seems to be postponed this month. So I am sharing this box, that I've already shared over at the Vildastamps Blog on the 21st, today here on my own blog.

Ich brauchte eine kleine, einfache Verpackung und wollte unbedingt die Geranien aus dem Flowers Geranium and Roses Set verwenden. Die waren aber für die benötigte Boxgröße zu groß. Also habe ich das Motiv einfach übers Eck gestempelt:

I needed a small and simple box and desperately wanted to use the geraniums from the Flowers Geranium and Roses Set. But this image was to big for the size of box I needed. So I've simply stamped the image over the fold so you have parts of it on two sides of the box:

Ich wollte eine recht zarte Coloration und habe mich daher für zartes Grün, helles Pin und einen grauen Pflanztopf entschieden. Über das Motiv habe ich klaren Wink of Stella aufgetragen und weil das noch nicht genug Glitzer war, habe ich noch ein paar kleine Glitzersteine um das Motiv verteilt.

I wanted soft colors and so colored the flowers in using a soft green, light pink and grey for the flower pot. I've covered the image with clear Wink of Stella and since that wasn't enough glitter for my taste I've added a few rhinestones around the image.

Da ich den Rest der Box, die übrigens mit der Schokoei Stanze von Kulricke gemacht ist, nicht weiß lassen wollte/konnte, habe ich hier einige Flecken aus dem Splats Kit in hellem Blau aufgestempelt. Dabei habe ich darauf geachtet, dass die Flecken ebenfalls über die Kanten hinaus weitergehen.

Since I didn't want to leave the rest of the box white I used different stamps from the Splats Kit and a light blue ink to add some splats to all four side, making sure also those continue over the folds. 

Die Box habe ich mit blau-weißem Garn zusammengebunden und oben einen schmalen Tag angebracht, auf den ich den Text aus dem Blumenset abgestempelt habe. Dazu kamen dann noch ein paar Blüten und ein größerer Kristall.

I've closed the box with a tie from blue and white twine and added a thin tag there on which I've stamped one of the sayings from the same flower set. Then I've added a few flowers and a bigger rhinestone.

Durch das SEME gestern zeige ich Euch die erste Karte, die ich gestern auf dem Vildastamps Blog gezeigt habe, hier einen Tag verspätet.

Since it was the day of Stempeleinmaleins yesterday, I am sharing the first card I've been sharing over at Vildastamps Blog yesterday one day late here on my own blog.

Ich habe eine Geburtstagskarte gemacht - mit einem Mann im Hinterkopf, sie ist aber irgendwie unversell einsetzbar geworden.

Die Karte besteht aus Cardstock, in der Front wurde ein Teil der Karte durch Folie ersetzt. Das  hatten wir Euch vor einiger Zeit beim SEME gezeigt und irgendwie fiel mir die Technik wieder ein...

Über die obere Kante habe ich ein Stück eines Doily's geklebt, die untere Hälfte ist mit Flecken aus dem Splats Kit bestempelt und mit grünen Enamel Dots beklebt. Quer darüber kam mit 3D Tape ein ausgestanztes Cheers.

I made a birthday card, having a men's card in mind. But then it turned out good for both men and women.

The card is cut from cardstock, a part of the front was replaced with foil. We've been sharing this type of card over at Stempeleinmaleins some time ago and then it came back to my mind...

Over the fold on top I've put a piece of a doily, on the lower cardstock part I've stamped some splats from the Splats Kit and added a few green Enamel Dots. Then I've added a die cut "cheers" with dimensional tape.

Als Motiv habe ich die Bottles gewählt. Ich habe alle drei Größen abgestempelt und mit Copics coloriert. Dann habe ich sie mit Glossy Accents überzogen, damit sie schön glänzen, was man aber auf dem Foto nicht erkennen kann.

An eine der Flaschen habe ich ein Tag mit einem Herz gebunden.

Innen in die Karte habe ich weißen Cardstock geklebt. Da er einfach nur weiß als Hintergrund zu langweilig war, habe ich hier erst die Quadrate aus dem Squares, Circle and Star Stempelset aufgestempelt und anschließend den Stern mit hellblauem Embossingpulver darüber embosst.

For the image I went with the Bottles. I've stamped all three sizes and colored them in with Copics. Then I've covered them with Glossy Accents to make them nice and shiny, but you can't see that on the picture.

To one of the bottles I've tied a tag with a small heart.

I've glued some white cardstock to the inside of the card. And since the plain white cardstock looked exactly that - plain - I've stamped the squares from the Squares, Circle and Star stamp set onto it first and then used light blue embossing powder to add the star on top.

Ein Blick ins Land der Feen

Auch diese Karte ist für den Vildastamps Blog entstanden. Und falls Ihr Euch schon immer gefragt habt, wie es im Land der Elfen und Feen so wirklich aussieht - heute bekommt Ihr einen kleinen Einblick. ;)

Also this card was made for the Vildastamps Blog. And if you have wondering what it really looks like in the land of elves and fairies - today I give you a little peak into their world. ;)

Meine Distress Inks habe ich ja schon ewig, aber bis auf ein wenig Wischen hier und da kamen sie eher selten zum Einsatz. Aber seit einiger Zeit nutze ich sie ständig - die Hintergründe, die man in Verbindung mit Schablonen gestalten kann, finde ich einfach klasse. So auch hier. Auf der oberen Lage habe ich mit Chipped Sapphire Wolken aufgewischt. Daraus habe ich dann ein Oval ausgestanzt, dass das Fenster zur Feenwelt öffnet.

Der Hintergrund ist schwarz gemattet und aus der Mattung habe ich noch ein etwas kleineres Oval ausgestanzt, dass das Fenster einrahmt. So kommen die leuchtenden Farben darin besser zur Geltung. 

Der Text ist aus dem Stempelset English Christmas Lyrics - alles andere außer dem Wort magical habe ich einfach nicht mit abgestempelt. 

Ein paar irisierende und orangefarbene Pailetten habe ich hier außen auf noch aufgeklebt.

I have my Distress Inks since several years but beside to ink up the edges every now and then they weren't used much. But since quite some time I am using them nearly daily - I just love the backgrounds they can be used for in combination with stencils. So I did it here again. On the top layer I created a clouds background using Chipped Sapphire. Then I've die cut an oval from this layer which is going to be the window into fairy land.

The background got some black matting and I've also cut a slightly smaller oval from it to frame the window. That makes the colors brighter.

The text is from the English Christmas Lyrics stamp set - I only stamped the word magical and left out the rest of the saying.

I added some iridescent and orange sequins to the clouds.

Und hier ist das Feenland. Der Himmel ist dort regenbogenfarben... ;) Auch den habe ich mit Schablonen und Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Dusty Concorde, Seedless Preserves und Picked Raspberry gestaltet. Darüber habe ich mit einer weitere Schablone und weißer Tinte Blasen aufgetupft. 

Die Fee und auch das Gras sind mit schwarzem Embossingpulver embosst. Ich hatte zwar den Hintergrund gut getrocknet, ein klein wenig Pulver ist trotzdem hängengeblieben. Aber hier stört mich das nicht wirklich, im Gegenteil, ich finde, das macht die Szene fast noch ein wenig interessanter.

And this is fairy land. The sky there is rainbow colored... ;) Also here I used a stencil and Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Dusty Concorde, Seedless Preserves and Picked Raspberry. Then I used another stencil and white ink to add the bubbles.

The fairy and the grass were heat embossed with black embossing powder. I did dry the background really well but some of the powder sticked to it nonetheless. But I think the black mist adds some more interest to the scene here.

Blumiges

Heute zeige ich wieder etwas auf dem Vildastamps Blog. Und ich habe dafür wieder den tollen Rosenstempel genommen, das ist fast so, als wäre der Frühling schon da.

Today I am posting over at the Vildastamps Blog. And I used the beautiful roses stamp again - it's like bringing spring here.

Ich habe das Motiv weiß auf Aquarellpapier embosst und coloriert - dazu später mehr. Dann habe ich das Motiv abgedeckt und zuerst den Letter Background in hellgelb und anschließend den Rahmen aufgestempelt. In dem Rahmen sind eigentlich die tollen Weihnachtsbäume und ein Weihnachtsgruß untergebracht, aber die habe ich rausgeschnitten, so dass ich beides auch getrennt verwenden kann. Zusammengesetzt ist es ja leicht wieder, wenn ich das möchte.

I heat embossed the image onto watercolor paper using white embossing powder and colored it in - but more about that later. Then I've covered the image and stamped the Letter Background stamp first with light yellow ink. Then I stamped the frame. The frame is acutally only part of a stamp - there are those beautiful christmas trees and a christmas saying in it. But I've cut those apart to be able to use them seperately. I still can put it back together if I want to.

Und hier ist das Motiv. Es sind die tollen Rosen aus dem Flowers Geranium and Roses Stempelset. Wie gesagt, es wurde weiß embossed und dann coloriert. Und hier habe ich mal nicht mit Copics gearbeitet, sondern mit Distress Ink gearbeitet. So großflächige Motive schaffe ich damit, bei allen anderen Motiven versage ich hier leider kläglich... Ich habe Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint und Broken China benutzt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar grüne Enamel Dots auf der Karte verteilt und unten quer ein kleines Banner mit einem Text aufgeklebt.

And here's the image. As mentioned they are the beautiful roses from the Flowers Geranium and Roses stamp set. It was heat embossed with white embossing powder and then colored in. And here I didn't use Copics but went with Distress Ink this time. I can manage image like this with the Distress Ink, images that need more detailed coloring are still something I can't get a good result of. I used Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint and Broken China.

In the end I've added a few green Enamel Dots to the card and a banner with a stamped on saying.

Ein Lollipop Flower

Auf dem Vildastamps Blog habe ich gestern auch noch diese Lollipop Flower, die als Geburtstagskarte entstanden ist, gezeigt.

Over at the Vildastamps Blog I also shared this Lollipop Flower, that was made as a birthday card, yesterday.

Für den Lollipop Flower habe ich im Hintergrund ein Doily verwendet, darauf kam eine Rosette aus rot-weiß gepunktetem Designpapier und darüber ein Shaker. Der Hintergrund im Shaker ist mit Herzen gewischt und mit Perlen und Pailetten gefüllt. In die Mitte habe ich hier noch einen Geburtstagsgruß aus dem Stempelset German Lyrics gestempelt.

Rechts unter den Shaker habe ich zwei ausgestanzte Sterne und ein paar Blüten aufgeklebt.

For the Lollipop Flower I used a die cut doily in the background, put a paper rosette from red designer's paper with white dots and then a shaker element on top of it. The background inside the shaker is covered with hearts that were made using a stencil and ink. I filled the shaker with pearls and sequins and stamped a birthday greeting from the German Lyrics stamp set in the middle. 

On the right side I added two die cut stars and a few flowers.

Natürlich darf auch ein Motiv nicht fehlen - und ich habe hier ein weiteres aus dem neuen Stempelset Best Friends benutzt. Es ist rot und weiß coloriert. 

Hinter das ausgeschnittene Motiv habe ich zwei ausgestanzte Luftballons gesetzt. Und unten an den Papierstrohhalm habe ich not eine Schleife aus Band und Tüll geklebt.

Of course an image had to be included as well. Here I used another one from the new Best Friends stamp set. It's colored in using reds and whites.

Behind the cut out image I've added two die cut balloons. To the paper straw I've tied some ribbon and a piece of tulle.

Nochmal was Blumiges

Bereits vor knapp zwei Wochen habe ich Euch ja schon eine Karte mit einem der tollen Stempel aus dem Flowers Geranium and Roses Stempelset von Vildastamps gezeigt. Diesmal habe ich den zweiten Stempel aus dem Set verwendet und eine Frühlingskarte gewerkelt.

Nearly two weeks ago I already shared a card with you using one of the beautiful stamps from the Flowers Geranium and Roses stamp set by Vildastamps. This time I used the other stamp from this set to create this spring card.

Im Hintergrund habe ich erst ein Stück Cardstock hellgelb gewischt und dann mit gelb-grüner Tinter einige Kleckse aus dem Splats Stempelset aufgestempelt. Das lockert den Hintergrund ein wenig auf und bringt noch etwas Frühlingsfarben ins Spiel.

Auf den Hintergrund habe ich dann das innen gewellte Oval und ein ausgestanztes Hello aufgeklebt.

In the background I inked up a white piece of cardstock with light yellow ink and then used a yellow-ish green to stamp some splats from the Splats stamp kit on top. That makes the background more interesting and also brings in some spring colors.

Onto this background I glued the scalloped oval and a die cut hello.

Und hier sind die tollen Geranien aus dem oben erwähnten Stempelset. Die meisten Geranien sind ja rot, rosa oder auch weiß. Ich wollte aber ein Lila-Blau. Rot und grün ist ja eine Farbkombi, die bei mir gar nicht geht, weiß wäre zu fad gewesen und auf rosa hatte ich irgendwie keine Lust. Also lila-blau, das auch super zu dem dunklen Grün, das ich teilweise für die Blätter verwendet habe, passt. Außerdem hatte ich von vornherein eine blaue Blumenkanne mit weißen Tupfen im Kopf.... Die Tupfen sind mit einem Gelmarker aufgemalt.

And here are the beautiful geraniums from said satmp set. Most geraniums are red, pink or white. But I went with a blue-ish purple. Red and green so isn't my color combi, white would have been too plain and I just didn't feel like pink. So I opted for the blue-ish purple. That goes great with the dark green I used for the leaves. And I also had a blue flower can with white dots in mind.... The dots are made using a white gelly marker.

Best Friends

Heute zeige ich Euch eine weitere Karte, die ich für den Vildastamps Blog gemacht habe. Auch hier habe ich einen der neuen Stempel benutzt.

Today I am sharing another card that I made for the Vildastamps Blog. Here I used another one of the new stamps, too.

Ich habe mich hier als Basis für eine gewellte Karte entschieden und ein große ausgestanztes Herz schräg darübergelegt. Und weil man nie genug Herzen haben kann, kam auch hier der Hintergrund mit den kleinen Herzen zum Einsatz.

I went with a scalloped card base and put a large die cut heart on top. And since you can never have enough hearts I went with the hearts background again.

Hier ist eines der süßen Motive aus dem Stempelset Best Friends. Ich musste sofort an eine meiner Töchter denken, die Katzen so sehr liebt... Wenn unsere erste Katze es mit sich hätte machen lassen, dann könnten wir genau so ein Foto von ihr haben. Coloriert habe ich wieder mit Copics.

Here is one of the cute images from the Best Friends stamp set. I had to think of one of my daughters when I saw the image, she really loves cats. And if our first cat would have been a little friendlier for sure we'd have a photo like this of the two of them. Coloring was done with Copics again.

Der Text kommt zusammen mit den Motiven im Set. Und ja, da ist noch ein Herz auf der Karte, hier ein Tag, durch das ich etwas Twine gezogen habe.

The saying comes with the images in a set. And yes, there is another heart on my card. Here I used a heart shaped tag to which I've added a bow from twine.

Als Deko habe ich einige Blumen in blau und weiß sowie einen dieser Perlensträuße in grün verwendet. Und ja, ich weiß, da ist noch ein Herz... ;)

For decorations I went with some flowers in blue and white and one of those pearl sprays in green. And yes, I know, there's another heart... ;)

Eine Frühlingskarte

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Vildastamps wurde ja vor kurzem von Engströms Artstudio übernommen - und es gibt bereits die ersten neuen Motive. Und da musste ich einfach eine Karte, die Frühling ruft, mit machen. Die Adresse des Blogs hat sich übrigens nicht geändert... ;)

As you know Vildastamps has be taken over by Engströms Artstudio a little ago - and there are the first new stamps already. So I had to make a spring-ish card using them. By the way, the blog adress hasn't changed... ;)

Für meine Karte habe ich den Schreibschrift-Hintergrund Letter Context verwendet und auf die Mitte eines großen Doilies gestempelt. Das habe ich dann mit Spitze - breit und schmal - auf das Designpapier geklebt. Oben habe ich noch ein ausgestanztes Herz hinter das Doily geschoben.

Der Text, der mit den Rosen im Set kommt, ist auf einen Blumenstecker gestempelt, passend zum Thema der Karte.

For my card I used the beautiful Letter Context background and stamped it on the middle of a large doily. Then I've glued the doily with lace - wide and small - onto designer's paper. I also put a die cut heart behind the doily in the top left corner.

The saying, that comes with the flowers, is stamped on a flower pick, matching the theme of my card.

Und hier ist einer der tollen Stempel aus dem Stempelset Flowers Geranium and Roses. Ich wusste sofort, dass ich sie von recht dunkel nach ganz hell mit Streifen colorieren wollte. Und wenn ich sie so ansehe, kann ich fast den Duft riechen... Ach, was freue ich mich auf den Sommer! Der kleine Schmetterling, der ebenfalls aus diesem Set ist, ist mit denselben Farben coloriert.

And here is one of the beautiful stamps from the stamp set Flowers Geranium and Roses. When I saw it I knew immediately that I wanted to color it from very dark to very light with stripes. And looking at it I can nearly smell it.... Oh, I am so looking forward to summer! The little butterfly, that comes in the same set, is colored with the same colors.

Eine Kaffee-Box - und Ostergrüße

Heute zeige ich Euch meine Werke für den Blog von Vildastamps diesen Monat. Vielleicht habt Ihr es schon gelesen - Vildastamps wird seit Anfang Januar von Engström betrieben. Bisher läuft der Vildashop noch wie gewohnt, daher hoffe ich auch, dass meine Links funktionieren...

Today I am sharing my projects for the Vildastamps Blog this month. Maybe you've already heard about it - Vildastamps has been taken over by Engström in january. The Vildastamps shop is still running so I hope my links work...

Mein erstes Werk ist eine Kaffeebox. Die Box selbst habe ich mit der Cameo geschnitten. Vorne habe ich die Box mit dem Kaffeebecher aus dem Coffee Kit dekoriert. Die Banderole habe ich extra einmal auf Wellpapper gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und auf den Becher geklebt. Darüber kam ein Fähnchen mit dem Wort Espresso, das ebenfalls im Coffee Kit enthalten ist. 

Das kleine Herz ist aus dem Stempelset German Lyrics Oktoberfest - es hängt eigentlich oben am Wort Oktoberfest, aber ich habe es separat abgestempelt und nach dem Colorieren auf die Banderole aufgeklebt. 

Unter dem Kaffeebecher befindet sich etwas Spitze, Cheesecloth, braunes Band und zwei Papierstrohhalme.

My first project is a coffee box. The box itself has been cut using my Cameo. The front is decorated with the coffee cup from the Coffee Kit stamp set. I stamped the sleeve seperately onto corrugated paper, cut it out and then glued it onto the cup. On top of that I've put a banner with the word espresso stamped on, which also comes in the coffee kit. 

The little heart is from the German Lyrics Oktoberfest stamp set - it originally is connected to the word Oktoberfest but I stamped it seperately, colored it in and glued it under the banner.

Under the mug there is some lace, cheesecloth, brown ribbon and two paper straws.

Die restlichen Seitenteile sind alle ähnilch gestaltet. Ich habe auf kraftfarbenen Cardstock erst mit brauner Tinte verschiedene Flecken aus den Stempelsets Scrap and Mixed Media Kit 2 und dem Splats Kit aufgestempelt. Dann habe ich weitere Worte - Cappuccino und Caffe Latte - aus dem Coffee Kit in schwarz aufgestempelt. 

The other sides are decorated nearly identically. First I used different stamps from the Scrap and Mixed Media Kit 2 and the Splats Kit and stamped those onto craft colored cardstock using brown ink. Then I added other words from the Coffee Kit - Cappuccino and Caffe Latte - with black ink.

In die Box habe ich dann Papierstreifen gefüllt, damit man den eigentlichen Inhalt nicht sofort sehen kann.

Then I filled the box with paper strip so you can't see the real content.

Mein zweites Werk ist eine ganz einfache, österlich dekorierte Box. Darum bekommt sie auch keinen eigenen Post: 

My second project is a real simple and easter-ish decorated box. So I've added it to this post instead of making an extra one tomorrow:

Die Box ist aus blauem Cardstock geschnitten und mit Designpapier beklebt. Ich habe quer ein Stück Spitze drübergelegt und ausgstanzte Ostergrüße aufgeklebt. Als optische Verbindung von Motiv und Box habe ich ausgestanzte Wolken auf beides geklebt.

The box is cut from blue cardstock and covered with designer's paper. Across the box I've placed some blue lace and I added a die cut word "easter greetings". To bring image and box together I've die cut some clouds and glued them onto the box so they cover part of both.
