Christmas Greetings

Heute habe ich eine Window Shaker Weihnachtskarte für Euch. Ideengeber für die Kartenart war, mal wieder, Jennifer McGuire. Ende Oktober hatte sie ein Video für dafür gepostet und ich wollte sie unbedingt ausprobieren.

Today I have a window shaker christmas card to share. Once again I've seen this type of card in a video of Jennifer McGuire. She postet it end of october and I really wanted to try it.

 

 Wie der Name schon verrät, ist hier ein Shaker in die Karte eingebaut. Allerdings ist der vorne und hinten durchsichtig, so dass man, wie durch ein Fenster, das Innere der Karte sehen kann.

Ich habe hier einen oben gefalteten Kartenrohling aus weißem Cardstock als Basis verwendet und aus ihm sowie einem etwas kleineren Stück olivgrünen Cardstocks jeweils das zweitgrößte der Nesting Piercing Ticket Frames  von WaffleFlower ausgestanzt. 

Den grünen Cardstock habe ich mit etwas Distress Ink Forest Moss gewischt und dann weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

As the name says already there is a shaker included in this card. But it's clear on the front and back so, just like through a window, you can see the inside of the card through it.

I used a top folded white note card for my base and cut the second largest Nesting Piercing Ticket Frames by WaffleFlower from it and a slightly smaller piece of olive green cardstock.

I shaded the green cardstock lightly with Distress Ink Forest Moss and then splattered white acrylic paint onto it. 

 

 Auf die vordere Folien-Lage des Shakers habe ich die Ilexblätter aus dem Vintage Poinsettia Stempelset von WhimsyStamps mit silbernem Glitter-Embossingpulver aufembosst - einmal oben und einmal unten. Die Beeren habe ich von der Rückseite her mit einem weißen Acrylmarker ausgefüllt.

Ich habe den Shaker mit klaren, hellgrünen und silber-weißen Mini-Perlen gefüllt. 

Die untere Lage der Folie versteckt sich unter dem grünen Cardstock, als oberen Abschluss habe ich einen weiteren der Ticket Frames aufgeklebt. Den habe ich aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt. 

 

I heat embossed the holly leaves from the Vintage Poinsettia stamp set by WhimsyStamps with silver glitter embossing powder onto the top acetate layer of the shaker - I stamped the image once onto the top and once onto the bottom of the acetate. I filled the berries with a white acrylic marker, putting the paint onto the back of the acetate.

I filled the shaker with clear, light green and silver-white micro beads.

The bottom acetate layer of the shaker is hidden behind the green cardstock, as the top layer of the shaker I cut another of the ticket frames from silver glitter cardstock.

 

 Ich habe den Ticket-Rahmen nicht ganz mittig aus meiner Karte, sondern etwas nach unten versetzt gestempelt. So blieb oben am Rahmen genug Platz für eine große Schleife. Die ist eine Kombi aus einer der Schleifen aus dem Geschenkbänder und Schleifen Set sowie den Enden der Großen Schleife, beides von Charlie und Paulchen. Die kringeln sich so schön nach unten und verdecken auch das obere Motiv nicht so, wie die zur Schleife gehörenden Enden.

Ich habe die Teile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Copics schattiert und auf den Rahmen geklebt. Die Schleifenteile habe ich dabei etwas mit dem Finger gerundet.

 

I didn't cut the ticket frame centered from my card but moved it a bit down. Now there was room for a bow at the top. The bow is a combination from one of the bows from Geschenkbänder and Schleifen  and the ends of the Große Schleife set, both by Charlie und Paulchen. Those ends curl up so nicely and they also don't cover as much of the holly leaves at the top as the regular ends, coming with the bow die, does.

I cut the pieces from white cardstock, shaded them with Copics and adhered them to the frame. Before putting the bow together I rounded the pieces slightly with my fingernail.

 

 Im unteren Bereich habe ich quer über den Shaker meinen Text geklebt.

Das Wort Christmas ist aus dem Stanzenset Christmas Season von Altenew. Ich habe es einnmal aus weißem und einmal aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile aufeinander sowie auf den Shaker geklebt. Den I-Punkt habe ich durch eine weiße Perle ersetzt und zwei weitere, kleinere darüber angeklebt.

Das kleine Greetings darunter ist aus dem Set Itty Bitty Holidays von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

In the lower half I adhered my text all across the shaker.

The word christmas I from the Christmas Season die set by Altenew. I cut it from white and dark green cardstock, stacked them and adhered them across the shaker. I replaced the dot above the I with a white pearl and added two more right above the first one.

The small greetings is from Itty Bitty Holidays by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

 

 Es ist wirklich schwer, die glitzernden Motive auf dem Shaker zu fotografieren, er reflektiert wirklich stark. Aber ich denke, Ihr könnt es erahnen.

Mit einem silbernen Gelstift habe ich noch einen Rahmen entlang des äußeren Bereichs des grünen Cardstocks sowie des Shakers aufgemalt.

 

It's really hard to take a picture of the glittery images on top of the shaker, everything is just reflecting the light too much. But I'm sure you can kind of see it.

I used a silver gel pen to draw a frame along the outer edge of the green cardstock and also the shaker.

 

 So sieht die geöffnete Karte aus - und hier sieht man den durchsichtigen Shaker echt gut. 

Den weißen Ticket-Rahmen, den ich aus der Kartenbasis gestanzt habe, habe ich von innen gegen die hintere Folie geklebt, um das 3D Tape, das ich für den Shaker brauchte, zu verdecken.

 

This is the opened card - and you can see the see-through shaker pretty well here.

From the inside I glued the white ticket frame, that I had cut from the front of my card base, onto the back acetate piece of the shaker to hide the foam tape I had used to create my shaker.

 

 Den Cardstock, der durch den Shaker sichtbar ist, könnt Ihr hier sehen.

Ich habe ein Stück hellgrünen Cardstocks mit Distress Ink Peeled Paint schattiert und dann mit weißer Pigment-Tinte den Christmas Background von MFT aufgestempelt. 

Im unteren Bereich habe ich ein weiteres Ilex-Motiv aus dem selben Stempelset wieder mit silbernem Glitter-Embossing-Pulver aufembosst und die sichtbaren Beeren weiß ausgefüllt.

Auch der Text im Inneren ist aus dem Itty Bitty Holidays Set von MFT. Ich habe hier das Wort Christmas, das sich ja schon auf der Vorderseite befindet, durch ein Season eines anderen Texts ersetzt. 

Den schwarzen Streifen mit dem weiß aufembossten Text habe ich dann quer über den grünen Cardstock geklebt. Er ist durch den Shaker ein wenig zu sehen, wird aber doch recht gut from gestanzten Wort verdeckt.

Mit einem silbernen Gelstift habe ich auch hier einen Rahmen aufgemalt.

 

This is the cardstock, that's visible through the shaker. 

I shaded a piece of light green cardstock with Distress Ink Peeled Paint and stamped the Christmas Background by MFT with white pigment ink onto it.

In the lower area I stamped another holly leaves image from the same set onto the cardstock. I heat embossed it with the silver glitter cardstock and again filled the berries white.

The text on the inside is again from Itty Bitty Holidays by MFT I replaced the word christmas, that I already used on the front of the card, with the word season from another text of the set. I  glued the black cardstock strip with the white heat embossed text across the green cardstock. It's slightly visible through the shaker but the die cut word hides it pretty well.

Again I used a silver gel pen to draw a frame onto the cardstock.

 

 Und wenn Ihr Euch jetzt fragt, wo denn hier Platz für einen persönlichen Text ist: auch daran hat Jennifer gedacht. Der grüne Cardstock ist nämlich auf einer weiteren, aber etwas kleineren, oben gefalteten Karte angebracht. Darin ist dann genug Platz für persönliche Worte.

 

And if you wonder where you can add a personal text here: Jennifer also thought of that. The green cardstock is adhered to another, slighliy smaller top folding note card. Inside of it you have plenty of room to write some personal words.

Thema sind diesmal (Layering) Stencils und Möglichkeiten, sie etwas abzuwandeln oder anders als gedacht einzusetzen.

Just last minute I am sharing with you my card for the Share Handmade Kindness challenge for the month of april. Not because I didn't have time to make the card, I simply didn't have a free day on my blog to share it with you earlier!

Theme of this month are (layering) stencils and ways, to change their look or use them differently as usual.

 

Im Video werden so viele tolle Ideen gezeigt und es war wirklich schwer, mich für eine Variante zu entscheiden. Dann aber habe ich meinen Stencil mit einem Embossingfolder  kombiniert. Zum Einsatz kam dabei ein 3D Embossingfolder von Nellie Snellen. 

Ich habe damit ein Stück hellblauen Cardstocks embosst und dann mit einem Brayer Distress Ink Salvaged Patina auf die erhabenen Stellen aufgetragen. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt und den Cardstock schwarz gemattet. 

 

There are so many great ideas shown in this video that I had a hard time to pick one. But then I combined my stencil with an embossing folder. This is a 3D embossing folder by Nellie Snellen.

I dry embossed a piece of light blue cardstock with the folder, then used a brayer to apply some Distress Ink Salvaged Patina onto the raised areas. I added splatters of white acrylic paint and then matted the cardstock piece black.

 

 Für mein Motiv kamen das Set Gracious Peonies von Altenew zum Einsatz, und zwar das Stempelset, die Layering Stencils und die Outline Stanze. 

Zuerst habe ich das Motiv auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und dann mit der dazugehörigen Stanze ausgestanzt. Dann habe ich das Motiv mit dem selben Embossingfolder, den ich bereits für den blauen Hintergrund benutzt hatte, embosst. 

Mit den Layering Stencils habe ich dann die Blüten und Blätter eingefärbt. Dabei kam nur Distress Ink Tattered Rose und Vicotrian Velvet für die Blüten und Bundled Sage und Peeled Paint für die Blätter zum Einsatz. Durch das Embossen ist der Cardstock etwas "verzogen" und die Stencils passen nicht mehr 100 Prozent zu den Stempellinien, aber das macht gar nichts. Ich hatte zuerst versucht, ohne die gestempelten Linien zu arbeiten, aber da war das Motiv so zart, dass man es nur schwer erkennen konnte. Also habe ich - mit dem gestempelten Motiv - nochmal von vorne begonnen.

Um das embosste Muster etwas mehr hervorzuheben, habe  ich dann ein weißes Pigment-Stempelkissen auf das Motiv gedrückt, ganz sanft natürlich.

Der Text ist ebenfalls aus dem Gracious Peonies Stempelset und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich ihn mit der Schere ausgeschnitten.

 

For my image I used the Gracious Peonies by Altenew - the stamp set, the layering stencils and the outline die.

First I stamped the image onto white cadstock and cut it out with the matching outline die. Then I used the same embossing folder that I had already used for the blue background to dry emboss the cut out image.

I brought in the matching layering stencils to color the flowers and leaves. I only used Distress Ink Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet for the flowers and Bundled Sage and Peeled Paint for the leaves. The dry embossing "shrunk" the cardstock a bit and so the stencils didn't match the stamped lines anymore perfectly, but I don't think it matters here. I had tried to do the technique with the same image but without the stamped lines, but the image was so soft that it was really hard to see it. So I started all over, this time with the stamped image.

To bring out the embossed pattern a bit more I dabbed a white pigment ink pad onto the image, of course without much pressure. 

The text is also from the Gracious Peonies stamp set and white heat embossed onto black cardstock. Then I cut it out with my scissors.

 

 Ich habe das Motiv mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den blauen Hintergrund geklebt und dabei über die Ränder des blauen Cardstocks überstehen lassen. Der Text ist mit dickem 3D Tape befestigt. Das habe ich auch verwendet, um den blauen Cardstock auf einen weißen Kartenrohling zu kleben. Anschließend habe ich nur an der linken Kante der Karte die überstehenen Teile des Motivs bündig mit der Kartenbasis abgeschnitten.

Zum Schluss habe ic noch einige weiß-irisierende Perlen als Deko aufgeklebt.

 

I adhered the image to the blue cardstock using thin foam tape, letting the image hang over the edges of the blue cardstock. The text I attached with thick foam tape and I used that also to glue the blue cardstock to a white card base. Then I cut off the overhanging part of the image only along the left edge of the card base.

As a finishing step I added some white iridescent pearls as decoration.

 

Herbst fast monochrom

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Auch wenn sich hier schon die ein oder andere Winter-/Weihnachtskarte eingeschlichen hat: es ist immer noch Herbst. Deswegen habe ich heute eine weitere Herbstkarte für Euch. Und weil Halloween vorbei ist, dürfen auf der Kürbisse einfach mal als das daher kommen, was sie sind. Mein Bedarf an Orange ist nach Halloween allerdings auch erstmal gedeckt, deswegen sind sie grün geworden. Und so ist diese Karte - fast - monochrom ausgefallen.

Even if I've shared one or two winter-/christmas cards here already: it's still fall. That's why I have another fall card for you today. And because Halloween is over, those pumpkins are just plain pumpkins here. Well, I am kind of sick of orange now that Halloween is over so I used green for my pumpkins. And this card turned out - nearly - monochrome.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück hell-cremefarbenen Cardstock genommen und mit einem Embossingfolder von EchoPark kleine Blätter eingeprägt. Damit der Hintergrund nicht so langweilig ist, habe ich mit den Fingern ganz sacht grünes Gilding Wax aufgewischt, das dann nur auf den erhabenen Blättern gelandet ist und sie so etwas hervorhebt. Außerdem habe ich hell-silber glitzernede Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt, die super zu dem silbernen Glitzer-Gilding Wax passt, das ich später auf die Kürbisse aufgetragen habe.

For the background I used a piece of very light cream colored cardstock and embossed some small leaves into it using an embossing folder by EchoPark. To make the background more interesting I used my fingers to very softly apply some green gilding wax. I applied it only to the raised leaves that now get accentuated nicely. I also added splatters of some light silver glitter watercolor, that goes great with the silver glitter gilding wax I applied to my pumpkins later.

Die Kürbisse sind mit Pretty Pumpkins Layering-Stanzenset von Altenew gemacht. Ich liebe Kürbisse - egal ob als Essen, als Deko oder eben beim Basteln. Als ich das Set gesehen habe, musste ich es einfach haben, denn diese Kürbisse sind mal so ganz anders als die, die ich bisher habe. 

Ich habe Cardstock in verschiedenen Grüntönene verwendet, um die Kürbis-Lagen auszustanzen und habe die Lagen dann jeweils ein klein wenig mit Stempeltinte schattiert. Auf die oberste Lage habe ich, wie schon erwähnt, silbernes Glitzer-Gilding Wax aufgetragen, quasi als Ersatz für die weißen Highlights, die ich sonst mache. Die habe ich nur auf die unteren Lagen aufgemalt. 

Die Stiele habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls mit dem silbernen Wax betupft.

Zwischen die Kürbisse habe ich dann noch ein paar Blätter aus dem Lovely Layers Mini Fall Flowers Set von HoneyBeeStamps sowie Weißenähren von Magnolia geschoben. Die Blätter habe ich nach dem Stanzen mit einem Sanding Block bearbeitet, so dass an einigen Stellen der weiße Kern des Cardstocks zu sehen ist. Auf die Weizenähren habe ich hellgrünes Gilding Wax aufgetupft. 

The pumpkins are made with the Pretty Pumpkins Layering die set by Altenew. I love pumpkins - as food, as decoration and for my cards. When I saw this set, I just had to have it, because those look different from all the other ones I have used so far.

I used different shades of green cardstock to die cut the pumpkin layers and shaded them lightly with some matching ink. Onto the top layer I dabbed a bit of silver glitter gilding wax - as mentioned already. I did that instead of the white highlights I usually do and added those only to the darker layers.

The stems I die cut from white cardstock and added some of the silver wax as well.

Between the pumpkins I put a few leaves, made with the Lovely Layers Mini Fall Flowers dies by HoneyBeeStamps, and some wheat by Magnolia. I used a sanding block on the leaves to bring out the white core of the cardstock in a few areas. Onto the wheat I dabbed some light green gilding wax.

Der Text ist aus dem Set Autumn Blessings von MFT. Ich habe ihn mit dunkelgrüner Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich ihn zwischen die Weizenähren über den Kürbissen geschoben.

The text is from the Autumn Blessings set by MFT. I stamped it with dark green ink onto white cardstock and cut it out by hand. Then I tucked it between the what above the pumpkins.

Die Kürbisse sind durch die Lagen ja bereits recht dick, deswegen habe ich 3D Tape benutzt, um die anderen Elemente auf der Karte anzubringen. 

Auf den cremefarbenen Cardstock mit den eingeprägten Blättern habe ich mit einem silber-glitzernden Gelstift einen Rahmen aufgemalt. Als Deko habe ich dann noch nur ein paar silber-glitzernde Pailetten aufgeklebt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

The pumpkins are already pretty thick due to the layers, so I used foam tape to adhere the other elements to the background.

With a silver glitter gel pen I drew a frame onto the cream colored cardstock with the dry embossed leaves. As decoration I added just a few silver glitter sequins and then adhered my card panel to a white note card.

Heute habe ich eine Weihnachtskarte mit Weihnachtsstern und Christrose für Euch, wobei die Christrose eigentlich gar keine ist. Aber man darf ja auch mal was zweckentfremden, richtig?

Today I am sharing a christmas card with a poinsettia and a helleborus for you. Well, actually the helleborus is made with a stamp that shows a different flower but if it fits, why not go with it, right?

Ich wollte das grau-blau eines winterlichen Himmels für den Hintergrund, ihn aber nicht einfach nackt lassen. Also habe ich ein Stück hell-aqua farbenen Cardstock zugeschnitten und dann erst mit dem Sternenzweige DinLang Embossingfolder von Charlie und Paulchen die Tannenzweige und Sterne aufgeprägt. Ich wollte keine Slimline Card machen, also habe ich den Cardstock einfach kürzer geschnitten. Dann habe ich den Cardstock an den Rändern mit Distress Oxide Speckled Egg und Weathered Wood gewischt und weiße Acrylfarbe augespritzt.

I wanted the grey-ish blue of a winter sky for my background but didn't want it to be plain cardstock. So I first cut a piece of light aqua cardstock and dry embossed the pine branches and stars into it using the Sternenzweige DinLang embossing folder by Charlie und Paulchen. Since I didn't want to make a slimline card I simply cut the cardstock shorter. Then I inked the edges with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg and Weathered Wood and flicked some white acrylic paint onto the cardstock.

Dann habe ich den Weihnachtsstern und die Ilexblätter aus dem Stempelset Poinsettia and Berries, die "Christrose" aus dem Set Lush Garden sowie die Mistelblätter aus dem Stempelset Very Berry, alle von Altenew, abgestempelt. Ich habe Distress Ink Old Paper, Bundled Sage sowie verschiedene Rot- und Grüntöne von Memento benutzt und zum Schluss für mehr Kontrast einige kleine Bereiche der Motive mit Copics abgedunkelt. Außerdem habe ich ein paar Details mit einem weißen Gelstift hinzugefügt. Dannn habe ich alle Motive ausgeschnitten und auch darauf einige Spritzer weißer Acrylfarbe aufgebracht.

Als Text reichte mir hier ein einfaches Joy - ich habe es mit der Joy Stanze von MFT viermal aus weißem Cardstock und einmal aus silbernem Glittercardstock gestanzt und die Teile aufeinander geklebt. Außerdem  habe ich aus weißem Cardstock noch einige kleine Schneeflocken von Magnolia sowie Sternchen/noch kleinere Schneeflocken von LawnFawn ausgestanzt. 

Then I stamped the poinsettia and the holly leaves from the Poinsettia and Berries, the "helleborus" from the Lush Garden set and the mistletoe leaves from the Very Berry set, all by Altenew. I used Distress Ink Old Paper, Bundled Sage and different reds and greens by Memento and as a finishing touch shaded a few areas with Copics for a bit more contrast. I also added a few details with a white gel pen. Then I cut the images out and added some spatters with white acrylic paint onto the images.

As the text I only wanted a die cut joy - I cut it four times from white cardstock and once from silver glitter cardstock using the Joy die by MFT and glued the pieces together. I also die cut some small white snowflakes with a die by Magnolia and some tiny stars/even smaller snowflakes by LawnFawn. 

Zum Zusammensetzen der Pflanzen habe ich teilweise 3D Tape benutzt, das Wort Joy daran/darauf geklebt und die Schneeflocken und Sternchen drumherum verteilt. Außerdem habe ich noch einige winzige klare Glitzersteine aufgeklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich den Cardstock auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

To put the flowers together I partly used foam tape, put the die cut word joy next/onto the flowers and arranged the snowflakes and stars around them. I also added a few tiny clear rhinestones.

Then I attached the cardstock to a white note card.

Weihnachtskarte mit Kranz

Heute habe ich eine Weihnachtskarte in unüblichen Farben, dafür aber mit klassischem Kranz zu zeigen.

Today I have a christmas card in not so usual colors, but with a traditional wreath to share.

Der Hintergrund ist mit einem türkis-grau-blauen Stück Cardstock gemacht. Den habe ich zuerst mit dem Fröhliche Weihnachten Embossingfolder von Charlie und Paulchen geprägt. Dann habe ich ihn von außen her mit Distress Oxide Uncharted Mariner und ein wenig Black Soot gewischt.

Außerdem habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe mit ein wenig Perfect Pearls und Wasser gemischt und auf den Cardstock gespritzt. 

The background I've cut from turquoise-grey-blue cardstock. I first dry embossed "merry christmas" all over it using the Fröhliche Weihnachten embossing folder by Charlie und Paulchen. Then I inked the edges with Uncharted Mariner and a bit of Black Soot.

I mixed some white acrylic paint with a bit of  Perfect Pearls and water and flicked it onto the cardstock.

Der Kranz ist mit dem Mistletoe Wreath Stempelset von Altenew gemacht. Ich habe ihn erst mit schwarzer Tinte gestempelt und dann mit dem zugehörigen Stencilset coloriert. Dafür habe ich Distress Oxide Speckled Egg, Evergreen Bough und Rustic Wilderness für die Blätter sowie Bundled Sage für die dunkleren Beeren benützt. Die hellen Beeren habe ich nur mit Versamark gewischt und dann mit grün-weißlich irisierenden Perfect Pearls betupft. 

Da die Blätter ein wenig zu eintönig waren, habe ich noch jeweils einen zu jedem Farbton passenden, etwas dunkleren Polychromo genommen und die Blätter ganz einfach schattiert. 

Anschließend habe ich den Cardstock zurück ins Misti gelegt, den Kranz erneut, diesmal mit Versamark, gestempelt und die Outlines mit silber-pearl Embossingpulver embosst. 

Ich habe den Kranz ausgeschnitten und die Beeren mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Die Schleife ist mit einer Stanze aus einem der Vintage Kits von Magnolia gemacht. Ich habe sie aus dem selben Cardstock gestanzt, den ich für den Hintergrund verwendet habe, und ebenfalls mit Uncharted Mariner und Black Soot leicht gewischt. 

Irgendwie sah der Kranz auf dem Cardstock verloren aus. Also habe ich aus silbernem Schimmer-Metallic-Cardstock einen der Stitched Rectangle Frames von Create a Smile gestanzt und aufgeklebt.

Ich habe den Kranz mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Aus silbernem  Schimmer-Metallic-Cardstock habe ich zwei Sterne gestanzt, dünne silberne Schnur daran befestigt und sie in die Mitte des Kreises geklebt - einmal mit dünnem, einmal mit dickem 3D Tape. Die Enden der Schnüre habe ich unter der Schleife versteckt, die ich ebenfalls mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt habe.

The wreath is made with the Mistletoe Wreath stamp set by Altenew. I first stamped it with black ink and then used the matching layering stencils to color it. I used Distress Oxide Speckled Egg, Evergreen Bough and Rustic Wilderness for the leaves and Bundled Sage for the darker berries. The lighter berries I only applied with Versamark and then dabbed some green-white iridescent Perfect Pearls onto them.

Since the leaves looked a bit flat I picked one Polychromos for each color and very lightly shaded the leaves with those. 

Then I put the cardstock back in my Misti and stamped the wreath again, this time with Versamark, then heat embossed them with a silver pearl embossing powder.

I cut out the wreath and covered the berries with Glossy Accents. 

The bow I die cut from the same cardstock that I had also used for the background using a die from one of the Vintage Kits by Magnolia, then shaded it lightly with Uncharted Mariner and Black Soot again.

The wreath looked a bit lost on the background. So I die cut one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames by Create a Smile from a shimmery silver metallic cardstock and glued it onto the background.

I adhered the wreath with thin foam tape onto the background. From the same silver shimmer cardstock I die cut two stars and attached a thing silver string to each. Then I adhered them into the center of the wreath - one with thin, one with thick foam tape. The ends of the strings I've hidden behind the bow, that I adhered with foam tape again.

Eigentlich war das der Plan für die Karte. Aber irgendwie fehlte ihm noch ein Text - der geprägte Text im Hintergrund ist doch recht subtil. Also habe ich ein Frohes Fest mit einer Stanze von Charlie und Paulchen aus grünem Schimmer-Cardstock gestanzt und unter dem Kreis innerhalb des Rahmens aufgeklebt.

That was the original plan for my card. But somehow I was missing a text - the dry embossed text in the background is pretty subtle. So I die cut a "season's greetings" from green shimmer cardstock and adhered it under the wreath inside the frame.

Zum Schluss habe ich den Cardstock nur noch auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt - mehr Deko brauchte die Karte nämlich gar nicht, finde ich.

Then I just adhered the cardstock to a white note card - because I think this card doesn't need any more decorations.

July Technique Throwback Challenge

Momentan ist so viel los, da hätte ich beinah die Technik Throwback Thursday Challenge von Juli verpasst. Beinahe, denn quasi in letzter Minute habe ich diese Karte gewerkelt. Das Thema diesen Monat ist das Stenciled Stamping Technique Video von Jennifer McGuire.

Life's so busy at the moment, I nearly missed the Technique Throwback Challenge of july. Nearly, because last minute I made this card. The theme this month is Jennifer's Stenciled Stamping Technique video.

Nun, ich mag ja diese Challenges, denn sie holen mich wirklich oft aus meiner Komfortzone heraus. Aber diese Karte war eine echte Herausforderung. Zuerst gefiel mir die Farbkombi nicht (ich hatten den Hintergrund erst in Gelb- und Orangetönen gestaltet), dann hat das mit dem Stenciled Stamping im Hintergrund nicht so funktioniert, wie geplant. Lag wohl daran, dass ich einen Gummi- und keinen Clearstamp verwendet habe (versucht mal einen Stencil mit Klebeband aufklappbar im Misti anzubringen, wenn er gleichzeitig auf einen Gummistempel passen soll). Aber im Endeffekt kann man die Herzen dann doch erkennen. 

Ich habe den Pop-Up Sunburst Stempel von PinkFresh für den Hintergrund verwendet. Hier kann man jede Strahle einzeln entnehmen - oder auch stempeln. Ich habe jeden zweiten entfernt und die anderen mit hellrosa Tinte abgestempelt. Dann habe ich die anderen Strahlen eingesetzt und in dunklerem Pink gestempelt. Dann habe ich mit einem Herzenstencil und Distress Oxide Victorian Velvet die Herzen auf die Strahlen aufgebracht. 

I really like these challenges, because they make me leave my comfort zone. But this card was a real challenge. First I didn't like my color choices (I had done the background in yellows and oranges), then the Stenciled Stamping didn't work as planned. Most likely because I used a rubber instead of a clear stamp. Try to hinge a stencil into your Misti to use with a rubber stamp - the stamp is way too thick for that). But in the end you can recognize the hearts on the background.

I used the Pop-Up Sunburst stamp by PinkFresh for the background. Here you can remove every single ray  and stamp them individually. I removed every other ray and stamped the remaining ones with light pink ink. Then I switched the rays with the not yet used ones and stamped those with a darker pink. Then I added the hearts with a heart stencil and Distress Oxide Victorian Velvet.

Mittelpunkt der Karte ist der große Text. Und da das mit der Stenciled Stamping Technik so ganz funktioniert hatte, wollte ich es doch gleich nochmal probieren, diesmal mit einem Clearstamp. Da kamen das Jumbo Sentiments Set von TheTon wie gerufen. Ich habe das Thanks erst mit blauer Tinte abgestempelt und dann das Muster  mit dem Sphere Stencil von Altenew und Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire aufgetragen. Und diesmal hat es perfekt funktioniert. Dann habe ich den Text mit der passenden Outlinestanze ausgestanzt.

Weil ich den Bereich zwischen A und N so nackt fand, habe ich hier noch ein kleines Herz aufgeklebt. Das habe ich aus einem Stück weißen Cardstock gestanzt, den ich vorher mit dem dunkler pinken Stempelkissen eingefärbt habe.

Die Blumen sind aus dem Vintage Flowers Stempelset von Altenew. Ich habe sie in Türkistönen gestempelt - entweder mit blauer oder pinker Mitte. Dort habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift einige Highlights aufgetupft. Zwischen die Blumen habe ich dann noch ein paar Zweige, gestanzt aus Vellum, geschoben.

Direkt auf den Hintergrund habe ich dann mit blauer Tinte noch ein "so very much", ebenfalls aus dem Jumbo Sentiments Set, aufgestempelt.

The center of this card is the large text. And since the Stenciled Stamping didn't work as hoped on the background, I decided to try it again, this time using a clear stamp. So the Jumbo Sentiments by TheTon were perfect. I stamped the thanks with blue ink and then added the pattern using Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire and the Sphere stencil by Altenew. This time it worked like charm. And then I cut out the text using the matching die.

Because I thought the area between the A and N was too plain I added a small heart there. I die cut that from a piece of white cardstock, that I had inked with the darker pink ink pad.

The flowers are from the Vintage Flowers stamp set by Altenew. I stamped them in aquas, adding either a pink or a blue center. Then I added a few highlights with a white gel pen. Between the flowers I put a few branches, cut from vellum. 

Directly onto the background I also stamped a "so very much", again from the Jumbo Sentiments set, using blue ink.

Ich habe die Blüten mit dünnem, den Text mit dickem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Dann habe ich einige pink-irisierende Steinchen auf der Karte verteilt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles noch auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I attached the flowers with thin, the text with thick foam tape. Then I added a few pink iridescent rhinestones to the card.

To finish it, I just attached it to a white note card.

Geburtstagskarte für meine Mom

 

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Während unseres Urlaubs in Italien, haben wir nicht nur den Geburtstag meiner Nichte gefeiert, sondern vor allem den meiner Mutter. Das ist inzwischen Tradition geworden - das sie Ende Mai Geburtstag hat, verbringen wir den, soweit irgend möglich, alle zusammen in Italien am Strand. So auch dieses Jahr. Und das ist die Karte, die ich für sie gemacht habe.

During our vacation in Italy, we did not only celebrate my niece's birthday, but also my mom's. It has become a tradition for us - her birthday is end of may and whenever possible, we celebrate her all together at the beach in Italy. It also happened this year. And this is the card I made for her.

Hier habe ich das Delicate Garden Kit von Altenew verwendet und eine Slimine Card gemacht. Ich habe die Blumen aufgestempelt und -gewischt - dazu gleich mehr - und dann den Bereich rund um die Blumen in türkis eingefärbt. Dann habe ich mit einem weißen Stempelkissen und einem feinen Blending Brush sowie einer Strahlenstanze von PinkFresh unregelmäßige weiße Strahlen, ausgehend von der Mitte des Cardstocks, aufgewischt. Die Blumen habe ich dabei mit Masking Tape abgedeckt, so dass die Strahlen hinter den Motive vorbeilzuaufen scheinen.

Here I used the Delicate Garden Kit by Altenew and created a slimline card. I stamped and inked the flowers onto the cardstock - more about that a little later in the post - and then filled the area around the flowers with turquoise ink. Then I used white pigment ink, a fine blending brush and a ray stencil by PinkFresh to ink some rays onto the background, radiating from the center of my cardstock. I had covered the flowers with masking tape when adding the rays, so they seem to go behind the flowers. 

In dem Stempelset sind drei verschiedene Blumen/Pflanzen enthalten. Ich habe hier zwei Stück kombiniert und die dritte auf die andere Seite des Cardstocks gestempelt. Zum "Colorieren" habe ich die dazugehörigen Layering Stencils verwendet. Die Pfingstrose habe ich in pfirsich und rot eingefärbt, die kleineren Blüten in blau, dazu kommt natürlich grün für die Blätter. Hier habe ich mich quer durch alle möglichen Ink Pad Hersteller gearbeitet - Distress Ink, SU, MFT, alle sind hier vertreten. 

Nach dem Einfärben der Motive und des Hintergrunds, habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe auf den Cardstock gespritzt.

There are three different flowers/plants included in the stamp set. I combined two here and stamped the third one onto the other end of the cardstock. To "color" the images in, I used the matching layering stencils. I went with peach and red for the peonie, blue for the smaller flowers and of course green for the leaves. I used ink pads by different brands here - Distress Ink, SU and MFT, they all came to use here. 

After I had colored the images and background, I flicked some white acrylic paint onto the cardstock.

Für den Haupttext habe ich eine Happy Birthday Stanze verwendet, die auch eine passende Schatten-Lage hat. Diese Schattenlage habe ich aus Vellum gestanzt, die Buchstaben dreimal aus weißem Schimmer-Cardstock. Ich habe sie aufeinander und dann auf das Vellum geklebt. Die I-Punkte habe ich durch zwei weiße Herzen ersetzt.

Für den kleineren Text darunter habe ich Stempel aus dem Set Kleine Worte von Stampcorner benutzt. Er ist weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst, ausgeschnitten und - ebenso wie der große Text - mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

For the main text I used a happy birthday die, that also cuts a shadow layer. I cut the shadow layer from vellum, the letters three times from white shimmer cardstock. I stacked the letters and then adhered them to the vellum. Instead of the dots on the i I used two small hearts.

The subtext - all the best from the bottom of my heart - I white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut it out and then attached it to the background with foam tape and did the same with the large text.

Zum Schluss habe ich als Deko fünf weiß-irisierende Perlen um den Text verteilt und alls auf einen weißen Slimline-Kartenrohling geklebt.

To finish the card, I put five white iridescent pearls around the text and then put everything onto a white slimline sized card base.

Tochter-Geburtstagskarte #1

Es war mal wieder soweit - unsere Zwillinge hatten Geburtstag. Bisher habe ich ja immer zwei sehr ähnliche Karten in unterschiedlichen Farben gemacht. Dieses Jahr habe ich mich entschlossen, die Karten jeweils individueller auf die beiden anzupassen. Und somit zeige ich Euch heute Karte Nr. 1, für die Tochter im Bio-Master-Studiengang, Schwerpunkt Pflanzen, mit denen auch ihre Bachelor-Arbeit zu tun hatte.

It's that time again - our twins celebrated their birthday. Until last year I always made two nearly identical cards in different colors. This year I've decided to make the card fit more their individual interests and lives. And so I am sharing card #1 today, made for the daughter in a biology master class at university now, main emphasis on plants, which she also did her bachelor paper about.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich den Fern Background von WhimsyStamps mit grauer Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Dann habe ich die einzelnen Farne mit Copics coloriert und Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift gesetzt. Hat seine Zeit gedauert, aber das Ergebnis gefällt mir wirklich gut!

For the background I stamped the Fern Background by WhimsyStamps with grey ink onto a piece of white cardstock, then colored the ferns in with Copics and added highlights with a white gel pen. It took some time to finish, but I really love the result!

Für die Deko habe ich dann zweimal die 2 mit dem Stanzenset Outline Numbers von MFT gestanzt - jeweils dreimal aus weißem Cardstock und für die oberste Lage aus weißem Glitter-Cardstock. 

Da Pia gerne helle, gedeckte Farben mag, habe ich dann mit dem Vintage Flowers Stempelset von Altenew Blumen in einer Beige- und einer Pink-Kombi gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und auf und unter den Zahlen angeordnet aufgeklebt. Außerdem habe ich mit Stanzen von Magnolia vier kleine Schmetterlinge aus weißem Cardstock ausgestanzt, mit Copics coloriert und ebenfalls aufgeklebt.

Für den Text habe ich eine Hotfoil Plate von Kartenkunst und rose-goldene Folie verwendet, die Texte auf schwarzen Cardstock foliert und anschließend mit 3D Tape unterhalb der Zahlen auf dem Hintergrund angebracht.

For the decorations I die cut two of the 2 using the Outline Numbers die set by MFT - I cut them each three times from white cardstock and for the top layer once from white glitter cardstock.

Since Pia loves light, soft colors, I stamped flowers from the Vintage Flowers stamp set by Altenew using a beige and a pink color combo. Then I cut those out and arranged them under and on top of the numbers. I also die cut four little butterflies from white cardstock using dies by Magnolia, colored them with Copics and attached them to the background.

For the text I used a hotfoil plate by Kartenkunst and rose gold foil. The texts mean "hip hip hoorays" and "heartfelt congratulations". I foiled them onto black cardstock and then adhered them to the background, just under the numbers.

Zum Schluss habe ich eine rose-goldene Steinchen als Deko auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Zuerst hatte ich vor, den dekorierten Cardstock schwarz zu matten - auch, um das schwarz der Textstreifen nochmal aufzugreifen. Aber das war mir irgendwie zu dunkel und zu viel, also habe ich die Mattung wieder entfernt und nun diesen etwas breiteren weißen Rahmen auf der Karte, was mir super gefällt, denn die Karte wirkt wunderbar fröhlich, zart und hell.

To finish the card, I added a few rose gold rhinestones and then attached everything to a white note card. I had planned to add a black mat - also to pick up the black of the text strips again. But that seemed too dark and too much, so I removed the mat. Now I have that a bit wider white frame around the decorated cardstock, and I really like it, because it makes the card wonderfully happy, soft and light.

Heute habe ich die nächste Weihnachtskarte für Euch. Und irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl, dieses Jahr fallen alle meine Karten recht blumig aus.

Today I am sharing another christmas card with you. And I really have the feeling, my christmas cards this year are all pretty floral.

Im Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück braunen Cardstock zugeschnitten und mit der Dotted Tile Debossing Cover Stanze von Altenew ein Muster hineingestanzt. Okay, nach dem Dekorieren sieht man jetzt davon nicht mehr allzu viel. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe darüber gespritzt. 

For the background I've cut a piece of craft colored cardstock and cut a cover into it using the Dotted Tile Debossinng Cover die by Altenew. Okay, you don't see much of it after I put all the decorations on top. Then I spritzed some white acrylic paint over the cardstock.

Für die Deko habe ich Pinienzweige mit Stanzen aus dem Beautiful Boughs Set von SU aus dunkel-türisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und dann die Zweige mit Distress Oxide Black Soot gewischt.

Die Zweige mit den Beeren sind aus dem Stanzenset Slimline Scalop Christmas Bauble von CraftEmotions und aus helltürkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt.

Und Hauptstar sind natürlich die großen Blüten, gemacht mit dem Lovely Layers Mum Stanzenset von HoneyBeeStamps. Dafür habe ich alle Lagen der Blüten aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und dann mit Distress Ink Lumberjack Plaid, Aged Mahogany und Black Soot gewischt. Die Blätter habe ich aus türkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Oxide Broken China und Uncharted Mariner gewischt. 

Ich habe alle Teile aufeinander geklebt und auch auf die Deko weiße Acrylfarbe gespritzt. Und damit das ganze winterlich-weihnachtlich wird, habe ich alles mit Distress Rock Candy Glitter überzogen und außerdem ein paar kleine Schneeflocken, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, zwischen die Deko geschoben. 

For my decorations I die cut some pine branches from dark turquoise cardstock using dies from the Beautiful Boughs by SU and then darkened the ends of the branches with Distress Oxide Black Soot. The branches with the berries are made from light aqua cardstock with dies from the Slimline Scalop Christmas Bauble set by CraftEmotions. 

And the star of the card are of course the big flowers, made with the Lovely Layers Mum von HoneyBeeStamps. I've die cut all layers from white cardstock and then inked them up with Distress Ink Lumberjack Plaid, Aged Mahogany and Black Soot. The leaves I've cut from turquoise cardstock and inked them with Distress Oxide Broken China and Uncharted Mariner. 

I put the flowers together and put the branches underneath, then spritzed more white acrylic paint on top. And to add a wintery christmassy touch to everything, I covered everything with some Distress Rock Candy Glitter and also tucked a few snowflakes, die cut from white cardstock, between the die cuts.

Wohin dann mit dem Text? Die Karte ist doch schon so voll. Deswegen habe ich einfach ein Stück Transparentpapier zu einem Bannner geschnitten und dort ein "Frohes Fest" hineingeprägt. Das Banner habe ich dann unten quer über die Karte geklebt.

Well, where should I put my text? The card is already so full. So I simply cut a banner from vellum and cut a "merry christmas" into it. Then I glued the banner across the card.

Und hier könnt Ihr die ganze Karte nochmal in ihrer ganzen Blumen- und Glitzerpracht sehen. Zum Schluss habe ich unten und links die überstehenden Dekoteile abgeschnitten und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

And here you  can see the whole card again in all its flowery glitterness. To finish the card I cut off the overhanging decorations from the bottom and right edge, then attached the cardstock to a white note card.

Heute geht es weiter mit den Weihnachtskarten. Auf dieser hier habe ich ein Pfingstrosenmotiv verwendet - aber das merkt man gar nicht. Es lohnt sich also, auch mal durch die nicht-weihnachtlichen Stempel zu schauen, ob sich da nicht was passendes findet....

I am continuing to share christmas cards. On this one I used a peony image - but you can hardly recognize it as that. So it's always worth going through your non-christmas stamps, maybe there's something among those, that works on a christmas card as well.

 

Hier habe ich für den Hintergrund ein Stück dunkel-türkisfarbenen Cardstock zugeschnitten und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. Dann habe ich den Christmas Background von MFT mit Distress Ink Uncharted Mariner darüber gestempelt. Der Text ist ziemlich subtil, und trotzdem wirkt der Hintergrund dadurch so viel interessanter.

Da ich hier auf die Mattung meines Cardstocks verzichtet habe - sonst hätte ich so viel des Motivs wegschneiden müssen - habe ich stattdessen mit einer der Stitched Rectangle Frames von Create a Smile einen Rahmen aus silberfarbenem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt und auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

 

For my background I cut a piece of dark turquoise cardstock a bit smaller than my card base and spritzed some white acrylic paint onto it. Then I stamped the Christmas Background by MFT on top, using Distress Ink Uncharted Mariner. The text is quite tone on tone with the cardstock, but still it adds a lot of interest to the background. 

Since I didn't mat my cardstock for this card - I would have had to cut off quite  a bit of the image otherwise - I die cut a frame from silver mirror cardstock using one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames by Create a Smile and glued that onto the background.

Die tolle Pfingstrose ist aus dem Gracious Peonies Stempelset von Altenew. Ich habe das Motiv mit hellgrüner Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und es  dann mit Copics coloriert - die Blüten in ganz zartem Grün, die Blätter in dunklerem Grün. Anschließend habe ich das Motiv noch einmal mit der selben Tinte aufgestempelt - durch die Feuchtigkeit der Copics waren die Linien, die ich mit Dye Ink gestempelt hatte, doch recht verblasst. Indem ich das Motiv noch einmal aufgestempelt habe, waren die Details wieder sichtbar. Nur an den dunklen Stellen der Blätter kam die hellgrüne Tinte natürlich nicht durch. Deswegen habe ich dort die Blattadern mit einem dunkelgrünen Polychromo nachgemalt.

Anschließend habe ich das Motiv mit der passenden Outline-Stanze ausgestanzt. Und dann fing das Drama in meinem Kopf an. Ich sah auf einmal statt der tollen Blüten nur noch Kopfsalat. Das hat natürlich nichts mit dem tollen Motiv, sondern mit meiner Farbwahl zu tun. Aber da war die Idee nun mal in meinem Kopf... Also habe ich erstmal weiße Acrylfarbe über das Motiv gespritzt, dann habe ich auf die hellsten Bereiche der Blütenblätter Kleber aufgetragen und Distress Rock Candy Glitter aufgestreut. Anschließend habe ich das Motiv zerschnitten, komplett hätte es nie auf meine Karte gepasst. So habe ich einen Teil links direkt auf die Karte geklebt, den größeren Teil dann rechts mit 3D Tape leicht überlappend darüber. Egal, der Kopfsalat ist immer noch in meinem Kopf... ;)

 

Those beautiful peonies are from the Gracious Peonies stamp set by Altenew. I stamped the image with light green ink onto some white cardstock, then used my Copics to color the petals a very light green, the leaves a quite dark green. Then I stamped the image again, using the same ink. I had used a Dye Ink, and the moisture of the Copics had let the ink fade a bit. By stamping it on top again, the details are more visible. And since the details weren't visible under the dark green of the leaves, I used a dark green Polychromo to re-draw those.

Then I used the matching outline die to cut the image out. And then the drama started. Instead of seeing some beautiful peonies, all I saw were heads of lettuce. Of course this has nothing to do with the beautiful image itself, but everything with the colors I've chosen. But well, the idea was stuck in my head... So I spritzed some white acrylic paint over the image as well, then applied some clear drying glue to the lightest areas of the petals and covered them with Distress Rock Candy glitter. I cut the image apart - it was way too big for my card. I attached the smaller part onto the left edge of my background, glueing it directly onto the cardstock. To adhere the bigger part to the right edge, overlapping it a bit with the other part, I used foam tape. But well, there's still lettuce in my head... ;)

Für den Text habe ich wieder eine Mischung aus gestanzten Buchstaben und gestempelten Worten verwendet. Das Wort Joy ist mit dem Tall Skinny Alphabet Stanzenset von Scrapbook.com gemacht. Erst als meine Karte fertig war und ich die Stanzen wieder aufgeräumt habe, ist mir aufgefallen, dass ich das Y von den Kleinbuchstaben verwendet habe. Da aber alle Buchstaben gleich hoch sind, fällt das gar nicht auf. 

Ich habe alle Buchstaben aus silberfarbenem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt und mit 4 Lagen aus schwarzem Cardstock hinterlegt. Dann fiel mir auf, dass das J tiefer sitzt, da ich das Motiv rechts ja mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt habe. Also habe ich noch ein paar weitere schwarze Js gestanzt, so dass sich dort insgesamt 8 Lagen schwarzen Cardstocks hinter dem silbernen Buchstaben befinden. 

Für den Rest des Textes habe ich Stempel aus dem Set Filled with Joy von MFT verwendet und sie mit der selben grünen Tinte gestempelt, die ich auch für das Motiv verwendet habe. Die Streifen mit den aufgestempelten Texten habe ich dann wieder mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

For the text I used a mix of die cut letters and stamped words again. The word JOY is cut with the Tall Skinny Alphabet die set by Scrapbook.com. After I had finished my card and was putting my dies away, I realized, that I had used the lowercase Y with the uppercase J and O. But since all letters have the same size, I didn't care.

I cut the letters from silver mirror cardstock and glued 4 layers cut from black cardstock behind each letter. Then I realized, that the J will be lower because I had attached the image on the right with foam tape. So I've cut a few more black Js and now there are 8 black layers behind the silver letter.

For the rest of the text I used stamps from the Filled with Joy stamp set by MFT and stamped the words with the same green ink I had used for the image. Then I adhered the strips with the stamped on texts with foam tape.

Durch den Glitter auf den Blütenblättern - und in Kombi mit dem silberfarbenen Spiegelcardstock - hat die Karte einen tollen und perfekt zu Weihnachten passenden Schimmer. 

Eigentlich hatte ich es nicht geplant, habe abe dann doch einige wenige, kleine silberne Perlen auf der Karte verteilt. Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

With the glitter on the petals and in combination with the silver mirror cardstock this card has a wonderful and christmassy shimmer.

I really hadn't planned to, but then I decided to add a few tiny silver pearls to my card and attached it to a white note card.
