Maybe the last....

This may well be the last hibiscus bloom from our yard this year.  I only took these two photos with my phone.  The photo above was cropped.

I don't know why but it almost had almost a flat appearance...in real life.  I don't mean from the photography.

just had to play with the second photo a bit.

Pink

We thought we had totally lost the hibiscus, but it eventually came up.  And has several blooms, but nothing like last year.  As far as number is concerned.

But the flowers it does have are huge.

I was not going to post this one since it is in the header, but thought I would go ahead and post it till you can click and expand the view.  Do you see the critter?

The color pink for your enjoyment...

The one single hibiscus I have had tons of blooms last summer...I am hoping it repeats itself this coming year.

All the little seeds...

Not the greatest lighting, but still, you can see all the little seeds.  This is one of many that was on my hibiscus. 

Simply irresistible...

I was out photographing a little quilt top I just finished and couldn't pass the hibiscus by...they have bloomed so faithful ever since we planted them.

From my yard....

Roger and I made a new little flowerbed a week or two ago...I put two hibiscus in in. One was this pink one, since Lorelei loves pink. I hope it is still blooming when she comes this Sunday...it and the other one has had so many blooms.

Growing wild...

These were along the bank of the strip pit at Green Valley...but I have also seen them out at the strip pits near here. I really did not realize they spread that easy....
