I could not think of a title for this.  I cannot remember where we came across this building.  I wonder what stories it holds.
 

What was it...

 I have posted pics o this building before...maybe even this one.  It is long gone.  You cannot even tell it was ever there.  But I always wonder what it was used for.

Log cabin....

This is from Spring Mill St. Park in Indiana.  It is the Granny White House, built in Leesville, Indiana in 1824 and moved to Springmill in 1931.

Round barn, log cabin, and more...

This round barn is what originally what drew me to this place.  I don't remember where I heard about it.  It is not in my book A Round Indiana, Round Barns of Indiana by John T. Hanou.

This log cabin is at the Skinner Farm Museum, too.  It was moved there; I don't remember where it was in its former life.  And notice in the background is a brick home.  It is two stories, and is a fairly big home...and it was moved there from a few miles away!  I do not recall if the round barn was already there or if the guy moved it there, too.  I think most buildings there are buildings he moved there.

I don't know why I am showing this one...I don't remember a thing about it.  I like that it is old...I like that it is logs with the ends notched.

Old building

From an Indiana drive...

I know it is somewhere near Poland, Indiana just because of the photos taken on the same day.

In the backyard...

Not in my back yard, but I wish it were.  We saw this little 'studio' or whatever it was in 2011

I, of course, fell in love with it.

I would give anything to know where it was located....I would like to see it now.

From Tennessee

An old building ....I have no idea what it was.  And wonder when it was last used for anything.

Given a reprieve

On the back way from Mansfield to Bridgeton, there used to be a an old house that stood to the left of this little house/building.  We used to always pause and wonder what its story was.  A month or two ago, we passed and they were in the process of tearing it down.  I figured everything was slated for demolition.  Instead this has been given a reprieve...and has what looks like a brand new roof.

And this one is was left standing.  I wonder what the plans are for these places...maybe they intend to make rentals cabins of them for the Covered Bridge Festival.  Or maybe they will have some kind of shops in them.  Whatever they do, I am glad something was left.

Little shack

This is a little building of some sort...not sure if it has been a little house or a work shop or what.  I don't remember where we were at when I took this photo.  I wish I had gotten a better view.

Old building

I have had this resized and ready too long to admit to.  I am not even sure that it is still standing.  It was not too far from Bridgeton, Indiana.  (I am trying to get a post or two ready to publish since Tootie will be here later for the weekend.)

Abandoned

I really do not know what this has been...was it a house converted to a shed?  Your guess is welcomed.

Weathered

This was on the property that the barn I posted yesterday was on...I will post a few more pictures of it in the days to come. We aren't sure but think it was a shop at one time.

Another oldie

I came across this place out in Parke County....I have no idea what it was...on a road leading back to these below. Notice the little slot of an opening to the left of the front door. It really makes me curious.
No trespassing signs were every where, of course.

A snowy day

Last week, we managed to take a drive....it snowed the entire time we were out. Sometimes so hard I did not want to have my camera out in it. However, I did open the window to take photos...even for this one I took from inside the truck even though it wasn't snowing too hard.
