I Am Roses June 2025 Challenge: ANYTHING GOES!

My son and his girlfriend celebrated their 1 year dating anniversary on Friday, June 13th. She surprised my son with a scrapbook album full of memories of their first year together. The best part is that she asked me for help and came over for two days to work on it. My son, in turn, decided to surprise her with this 12x12 Shadowbox Frame showcasing some of their fave photos together.  

 

For the flowers around the collage, I used R43 pale pink peonies. Her favorite color is pink and she absolutely LOVES flowers so I know she will treasure this keepsake.

 Today, I created a card using dies from Jaded Blossom. I just posted a clean and simple version of this silver/blue anniversary card in my previous blog post. You can scroll to that post to see the dies/stamps used. Now, I'm sharing the fancy, blinged up version! 

 

 I used silver flowers from I Am Roses to bling up the left side of the heart. I moved the sentiment towards the middle of the heart instead of having it at the bottom (see my previous blog post). I didn't have silver small flowers or leaves so I took a silver metallic paint pen and colored in leaves and the top petals of the small flowers. That's the great thing about the IAR flowers. You can change the color or add glitter to the petals to change things up. The possibilities are endless!

Jaded Blossom: Be Mine Anniversary Card with the Fancy Heart Die!

 Happy Friday friends! I'm back today for Jaded Blossom sharing another Anniversary card using my hubby's favorite colors. We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary on July 3rd! Time is moving way to quickly! A couple of weeks ago I shared a Lava Anniversary Card. Today, I went a little more fancy. Hubby's favorite color is blue and he prefers silver over gold so that is what inspired this card. He's also a no frills kind of guy so I kept this clean and simple. If you want to see a fancier version with silver flowers, check back here at 10am for my I Am Roses post.

I used the Fancy Heart Die and cut the heart from metallic silver cardstock (purchased at Hobby Lobby). Then I used the Square Internal Scallops Dies 1 to frame the heart. The sentiment is from the Love You Lots Stamp Set. The tag for the sentiment was created using Mini Tag Dies 3.
